Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Back in WA to visit family and work Grain Harvest. Settled into Toodyay caravan park, the rain seemed to ease so we headed out west for a couple of caches. Hmm just 5km down the road and the sky had grown black, there were branches on the road and then the rain started. Oh my what are we doing? Should we head back? Lucky for us we were able to grab the caches between the showers.... mostly.TFTC TheLittleSquad

On a cold wet dark winters night, the torch beams were shining through the forest, amongst the glistening of the wet grass trees, and gum trees, all in search of the elusive tiny little firetacks. How many torches - too many to count!!A great turn out for a night cache while here in Toodyay for IGD 2024.Thanks to the organisers of this night walk, and the CO. We spotted quite a few gorgeous orchids along the way.TFTC

Out and about on the last day of IGD2024 picking up a few smilies to finish the weekend off. A bit wet last night so came out his morning to make the find.TheLittleSquad I found your cache at 9:44am, this was the 4th of 5 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 8844. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.SLTFTC

Out for a weekend road trip to Toodyay for IGD. After attending the hall all morning, we hit the road to Northam to clean up the map. Found this on the night walk after going to the pub. Cheers TheLittleSquad!

A great turnout for night caching here. A great little trail here. Tough to spot the small tacks (5c piece size for future finders), hardest part was finding the first one!Once we got going with such a large group it was easy to find them all.Before the group arrived we had replaced the damaged container with a nice new one on behalf of the CO (thanks Neva2old for the container).FP for the experience.

Out and about again, been waiting for IGD for a while and coming to a town I have a lot of connection with. Nice to explore the area with fellow cachers and the beautiful surroundings. Today is international geocaching day and we are celebrating it in Toodyay with several events put on by the West OZ Geocaching community. Out caching today with team adinache with the plan of finding all the solved caches along the Toodyay Goomaling road. Then back to town for the evening event and a bit of night caching. Wow so wet and cold tonight, but with caching in a big group made it fun. What a great night cache with 40 odd people in the bush in the dark on our last night here in Toodyay. TFTC TheLittleSquad.

After a busy day and the evening event in town, joined a large group of geocachers to wander in the bush by torchlight to find this multi. Managed to protect a couple of tiny orchids from being trampled by the group ??. Thank you for the cache TheLittleSquad!Teamed up with ullyssia today to tackle the series of puzzles, challenges, multis and traditionals released for the IGD24 weekend. We had a great run in the morning with the weather holding up, but that changed after the lunchtime event in town. Fortunately we had all the right gear and kept going despite the rain and cool wind. Thanks again to all those who placed hides for the weekend and made this trip to Toodyay a lot of fun!

Rain, torches, umbrellas, smiles, tick! Unfortunately there was much trampling on all things great and small, however a few early wildflowers were pointed out and saved. Good get together with all that attended the night cache tour!!! Cheers

Saturday, Day 2 of IGD, was filled with adventures around Toodyay. The morning was spent at the event hall, running introductory sessions and chatting with those who came through.After a hearty lunch, I rushed off to try and snag some tags before returning to town to pick up SirFancy. We then decided on our plan for the afternoon. Opting to head out into the countryside, we targeted a series of puzzles, challenges, and multi-caches. Despite the wet weather in the area, we werent sure how much wed be able to accomplish along the dirt tracks, but fortunately, there were no issues, and we completed all of them.Back in town, we grabbed a few traditional caches before joining the community for dinner and birthday cake at the evening event. We finished the night by joining a large group for a night cache mission in the rain.I had an absolute blast today, and it was great to see so many geocachers out and about. By the time I returned to the accommodation at the end of the long day, I had managed to log 45 finds, sign 12 challenges, attend 2 events, and record only 1 DNF. Thanks go to TheLittleSquad for placing and maintaining the Multi-Cache cache Heathens Trail for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 19:21 on 17/8/2024.This is find number 9217 for me.

Found in the rain with the Cockburn Crew. We replaced the broken cache container and put all the original bits and pieces back inside. Returned back to our cars just in time before the scheduled night hunt begain. TFTC

Hi there TheLittleSquad. We decided to head to Northam on a rare fine day and the GG AD series beckoned. Almost all caches were found in good condition and after our late start, we lunched at the Tavern at Spencers Brook. We found this cache at 0805pm after a short search - and the log is in good condition. TN, LN, SL. A good days Caching - . Thanks to TheLittleSquad for this cache - our find 11043 and the 45th of 45 finds for the day.FieldNotes: The container needs replacing. It is in about 8 pieces and the contents were strewn around - The post had fallen over.

We are aware the cache container needs replacing and we will be replacing it on our next visit out to julimar. All waypoints are there still so you can still search for the cache.

After the Sundowner Event we plus iluvtrekking, ebenie and Team Red Roo decided to head out to this night cache. We (richlink) are not great at night caching so were very thankful for the sharp eyes of Mrs ebenie who spotted most of the rather small red firetacks, leading us the the final location. Unfortunately the cache had been trashed so we left a fresh log sheet in the broken container after logging all our names. Thanks TheLittleSquad for the effort put into setting the night hunt up we really enjoyed it.

At the Sundowner Event, a group of us decided to head out to do the Heathens Trail. It was a clear balmy night, perfect for spotting little red dots. We were so disappointed to find the cache trashed and scattered. We've collected all the bits and pieces and left a new log sheet. Thanks, LittleSquad, for all the thought and work you put into this cache.

The CO messaged me a couple of days ago confirming that the waypoints are all working on this one. Looking forward to finding it!

Arrived at the WP & stumbled around for a short time before we found ourselves wandering along the Pagan Pathway, or was it the Heathen Highway - we cannot remember

Nevertheless, we were surprised by what we found and we admired your handiwork before signing the blank logbook
