Laighside Legends

It wasn't very summer-like here tonight but that didn't deter the crowds of people out for a Wednesday night at the pub. Nice to catch up with the small group of geocachers amongst the crowds!

Todays predicted rain may restrict us from sitting outside, if that's the case lets sit in the bistro. Go in the front door and head around to the left and up 3-4 stairs where you'll find a heap of tables.

The Rats

Who would have thought when I planned these events the weather would be unfavourable and this particular place would be packed to the rafters. Well that was the case tonight.

After our early setbacks we enjoyed a great catchup with lots of banter, laughter and story telling. Thanks for a good night out.

Another nice get together- these events are not only drawing a bit of a crowd but also getting many of the local caches found by visitors to Wollongong.

The place was packed, and parking was at a premium but we managed to get a table and have a good chat about all things caching! TFTE!

Seeing all the cars and lack of seating upon arrival, had to double check I wasn’t turning up to a Mega! Turned out just the locals taking advantage of cheap schnitty night unlike our group of ten here for another enjoyable catch up with mates. While the regular faces are always great, it’s also been a bonus of these Summer Events welcoming cachers from further afield swapping hints, opinions and war stories. Bring on the next…!

A long way to drive for dinner, but as we descended through the clouds , fog, and then seamist, we arrived in time to find a good handful of caches for entree. A good turnout for a wet evening. TFTE I.C.C.
