The park has now reopened but the cache hiding spot has been removed.I will archive this cache and create a new one at another location in the park.
The park has now reopened but the cache hiding place has been removed.I plan to hide a new cache in another location in the park.
The redevelopment of Percy Street Park is still ongoing. While the redevelopment is occurring the gates have been locked so the park is not accessible to the general public.
I have disabled the cache as the park is undergoing renovations and will be inaccessible for a few months. When the park reopens I will return the cache.
I wobbled the pushbike along Percy this morning to find the park.Plenty parking for car or bike and pooches are welcomed !!So through the gate I went,my imaginary dog 'Shadow' in tow.Together we soon sniffed out the cache's hiding spot, and retreated to the seating to sign the paperwork Ooh !! But we were too slow !!A crowd of muggles bearing dogs turned up [:o]Good job Shadow was there to distract them for a minute,so I could sneak the cache back in its hiding place TFTC
Lovely day to sit and read a book and wait for the grandma muggle and her g’daughter to finish playing hide and seek. TFTC.
Mr Tardis was in the area this afternoon and stopped here to find this one.
I'm happy to report that I found the cache in the fist place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache MacOzoFam.

Thanks for the cache MacOzFam, found at the bottom in plain sight. Glad I got this one. Find #8833 at 9.09pm with torchlight
Found it quick park and grab here between jobs. Luckily no muggles here today, it must be too cold for them?

Thanks MacOzoFam for this quick find cache. My timing was perfect. In and out of the park, and logging, just as a family including dogs arrived.
Last day of April 2023, so why not clock up some cache finds!
Appreciate easy to finds like this one!

Giddy with success after completing a nearby harder-than-usual multi, Ive added this one to today’s list. I believe it is school holidays, but the park was deserted this morning apart from one lonely looking ibis. Hence, an interrupted search, find, sign and return, and then back on the road.
I’ve intermittently had a Percy Street tag on my feet for many years, but I don’t think I’ve been this far up the street before. Very pleasant.
Thanks for the cache MacOzoFam.

Found it in cute little park. Nearly was muggled, didn’t see a pup and his walker come in while I was logging! Brand new log, thank u for placing and maintaining. X
I’ve passed this park before and been put off by muggles playing right around GZ. Having company made all the difference! We tried out the see saw and then it was a quick find and sign. Found with Adam, TFTC
After the event Owl headed home the long way, picking up caches that had sprung up while she was on various holidays. Never a fan of playground caches, but the park was mercifully free of muggles and she made a quick find.
Lots of memories came back while in this park - just around the corner from where my grandparents used to live … easy find T4TC
I drive past this park often. When I remember, i stop to go and try to find the cache. Inevitably there is someone hanging around and my attempt is thwarted.
Today it was around 37 degrees and I thought I would be safe. I was right.
It was just a short wander over to GZ for a quick find and and sign, then back to the air-conditioned comfort of the car.
Thanks MacOzoFam for the cache.

The Tuesday Trekking for members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving group came around very quickly. I picked up S.A. Sewer Rat from the rat's nest, then on to Blackadders den where he jumped in. [^] Then it was off towards the Golden Northeast suburbs for a wander looking for newly solved puzzles, GSM, Former Reel caches now named It's: and anything else we came across. Not all of us required every cache so here are the caches I was able to put my name in the log.
A quick find here.
***Thanks MacOzoFam for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

That weekly Tuesday Trek with the Befuddled came around again. A Starfish, Adder and the Rat once more targeted the North Eastern suburbs with the plan to seek more of the letterbox hides. Today we were more successful with finding nearly all of what we sought. There were a few other hides found on our route.
All caches were is good condition unless stated otherwise.
The Rat soon had her hands on this one so the log was signed by all and returned to where it was found.
Thank you for the cache MacOzoFam Find Number 10366 on 7/02/2023

Yay time for a Tuesday Trekking, For a trio of Geo animals.
The Starfish picked up the Rat from the Rat's nest.
We then made our to pick up the Snake from the Snake Pit.
The cache was quickly located by the Rat.
We all stamped the logbook. Then the cache was returned. TFTC
Out early this morning to beat the high temps due later in the day .This park was empty when we came - just the way we like it [^].TNLNSL.Thanks MacOzoFam.
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi.
Was out shopping in the general area and saw this was not that far away so made a detour in, parked outside the park and wandered in. Spotted the object at GZ and reached into the obvious spot and felt the cache which was removed and taken to a nearby table to sign the log and then reassemble. Wandered back to GZ and replaced the cache as found. Nice quiet park.

I used to live in Prospect growing up and rode my bike to high school along Percy Street. A mum and 5 boys were in the playground so I needed to a bit sneaky to sign cache. Thanks MacOzoFam for the hide.
The start of the new year and another Tuesday treasure seeking day with Mattycat in the big smoke, starting with some newish additions since our last visit, groan on playground equipment great for kids not adults, as luch was on our side we made a quick find and sign before little muggles turned up

Off with froghoppin and Sebastbat and Jack on another quick tour of town. Us country folks don't get down so often and there's always a good selection of caches to visit!
A couple of adult muggles seemed to not even notice us on the seesaw... luckily no kids around!
Much thanks to MacOzoFam for locating and maintaining this cache on our ever evolving SA cache map!
And a happy new year 2023 to all. May the caches be with you!

Exploring all over wherever we can - searching, spotting hidden items and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just a guess or plain old dumb luck
A lot of the luck stuff really !!!
*Most of the online logs are composed and published with GSAK of course*.**
---
Beware ! Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Look out for sand, mud, floodwaters, snakes, surprise cliffs, roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- and do watch out for bugs !!! . [xx(]
Ensure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Great of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
We do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!
C'est Fini. Happy New Year !

Made the most of a rare on time finish from work and no traffic due to almost everyone being on holidays to find a few caches on the way home. 1/5 nice quick find here TFTC
I came to see the cache here and I saw that it's a great little place to bring the pup for a sniff around. Nice hide and TFTC
I lived around the corner in Far Out Street in the late 70's. If you remember the 70's you were not really there.

Had to balance things time wise to get here with Wesley26 on the way to the Community event. Nice park. The 2 dogs there did not seem to want to attack me. Luckily.
Thanks MacOzoFam and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!

Found on my way to the Regency Park CITO event. Pulled up behind gridge98 just as he was leaving. Thanks for the cache MacOzoFam!
Found it today.
Every Saturday morning, I drop off kid to language school. Today, I tried this cache as it's only 400m away.
Parked on the street outside the Percy Street Park. No one was around as it's early Saturday morning.
Found the cache easily, at the second place I checked.
Signed the log sheet, and put it back.
Thanks for the new cache, MacOzoFam.
