#4668A quick stroll down to this one where I found it quickly enough. It was in a spot that doesnt align with the hint but I put it back where I found it. Cheers
New troll on the block can't decide quite where to live & is still getting itself sorted out. However, we respected it's decision and put it back where we found it - with a TB to keep it company for a while. Cache is all good . TFTC
Cache is in good order, remember to download the last few to offline, I couldnt access hint but was in obvious spot where the troll would reside..
Lost my pen, so just a picture log.I think it's on the wrong side, considering the hint.
Made very hard work of this one as started at the wrong end and looked in all the places it wasnt
Another quick find here end of the trail or not have to get back to the car decided it would be easier to walk up the road then down the hill to the car.
A quick weekend adventure away with some of the Team SEAC crew..ahhh its been so long since we did this!!This one took waaaay longer than it should have as we were at the wrong enddoh!Mr Stik-a-Crane did the honours after expanding the search area. Thanks for the cache.
A small group of us from team SEAC (Keylev, Stik-a-crane & Uncle Sam) came down this way for the weekend. Neat to have walks like this so close to town. With intel from the campground owner about walking times we decided we could easily do this before dusk. We started at the wrong end which resulted in a much longer search, however with being methodical we got there in the end. Signed SEAC to save space. TFTC.
Started searching at the wrong end here, but managed to located in the end.Was down this way with Keylev, HeMaLuDy, and UncleSamNZ, for a quick 2day trip to the Galatea foot hills, we had an earlyish, start from Auckland, our little group decided to take another stop here to continue the cache finding.Signed in as SEAC to save logbook space.TFTC.
Weekend away with my geocaching buddies from Team Seac. Took a drive down to Whakatane on Saturday and did the Bird Walk trail, then went to Galatea and did the foothills trail...that was a long 20 km's return trip...but got most of the caches. Thanks to the CO's for placing the caches. We had a great few days exploring the area. All logs signed "Team Seac" or "Seac"
523. I think this one is the last for the day. Nice quick find where the troll lives. TFTC
My niece had been pestering me all week to take her walking. She wanted to do a good walk - One that would snap a particular body part in half (according to her)! I knew the exact place to bring her…
The Bird Walk - with just the right amount of hill climbing and steps - should do the trick. We parked on White Horse Drive and set off down the trail. It was only after arriving at ground zone that we realised we had no mobile coverage or cache information. We’d have to approach this one blind. I took a systematic approach, but my niece just poked around and found the cache. She’s on a roll, she found the troll! Thanks Geckoh. TFTC.

My guides have now changed tac after lunch so I follow along way too much climbing and walking for this old boy so pleased to halt for a cache soon had the log signed and replaced as found thanks Team
We had our programmed lunch break at the Burma Road intersection. An interesting stop with cyclists stopping after the hill, and wanna-bes running up and down the steps. There was no mobile coverage along here so a bit panicky, but no problemwith threesets of eyes. The cache was a bit crusty but nice and dry inside. Thanks for bringing us here geckoh
Enjoyed the wonder to meet up with Mr troll. But I have know idea why I’m wearing lovely white shorts here brrr!!. Nice find and off home as nothing Janina Caint fix. Silly me!!
It turns out Mr rattll and Mr gecko are both silly enough to think its a good idea to go running at 'way to early o'clock' on a Saturday morning instead of sleeping in, as they bumped into each other at the 'park run'.
Some advice was handed out for finding a cache today, but Mr rattll ended up going for a slightly easier option as his legs had seen the folly of his ways and weren't keen to go any further than they had to.
Thankfully it was a straight forward find, so mr rattll could head home for a much needed coffee and a rest
Thanks for setting this up.

Thanks for setting this up.
This was by far the hardest one of the series for me to find. Got there in the end though. Almost the end of the walk. Crossing fingers that I haven't dropped something important along the way. Tftc.
Back in town for work. After a longer than usual drive from the other side of the island it was nice to get out and stretch the legs. Bonus a nice bush walk and caches. The troll released his treasure for me to sign. TFTC
Nice walk here. Guy walking past wondered what we were up to but didnt ask. Soon found. Tftc
A lovely day for a walk through here. Didn’t take long to find this one thanks to the hint. Tftc
Noticed this new series while passing through Whakatane. Dropped off Mr Rubbishparty at the top while Mrs Rubbishparty parked near the bottom. Happy that between us we found all ten. Quick find here to start with. Thanks geckoh for getting out among this awesome reverse.
Woke up to a lovely morning after days of rain
Decided a good walk was needed and I wasn’t disappointed. The bird walk is a beautiful walk, yes lots of steps buts lots of bird song and beautiful bush. Last one and I wondered how dirty I was going to get. But it wasn’t too bad. Great walk thanks for setting up some great caches TFTC

Have made this the last one as we are very wet but it means we will come back to finish off! A nice quick find. TFTC
Lovely cache in a beautiful bush. Great afternoon for a bush walk with the kids after all the rainy weather. TFTC
FTF) 10/10 What a walk, thought it was going to be a breeze, but not so. Very excited to get all 10 as FTF’s. Gap had to do the one off the beaten track while I sat and got my breath back from climbing all those stairs., and detour bridge had me a little confused but found it okay. All cache locations and descriptions all good. Amazing bird life here, even said hello to a weka. SLYFTCaches
