Goulburn our final day Our plan today was to cache within a radius of 10ks from the city.A nice way to visit the town & area is by following the geocaching trailThanks my_name_jeff_1 for hiding this cache.
Slowly making my way to the Canberra mega. Another nice little side trip to a few caches! Time to turn around, otherwise I will never get there! TFTC!!
A short trip to Goulburn with the opportunity to clear up a few of the elements of the Periodic Table. All straightforward finds were in good condition. Thanks for placing these for our enjoyment my_name_jeff_1
Short day out with caching colleagues before I needed to be home to pickup the grandkids. Fun few hours. Quick find on our way through. TFTC my_name_jeff_1.
Some caching around Goulburn today targeting, in part, the Periodic Table series. All were quickly found at GZ with good coordinates, although some logs are a little tatty from multiple retrievals, unrolling, logging and re-rolling.
Thanks, my_name_jeff_1!
Thanks, my_name_jeff_1!
I needed to head into Canberra for a work meeting, I was lucky enough to have the time to find a few caches too.
Cheers

With the new WOC souvenirs starting today, I made the trip over to Goulburn to find some caches required to earn them. I ended up with six out of eight types. So, only two to go. I also found a couple of oldie (pre-2010) caches and a new D/T combo. It was a great mixture of cache finds today which included a few P&G’s and a couple of tough fishing pole cache finds. I ended the day with 22 finds and one DNF. When I arrived in Goulburn I had a pie from Trappers for B’fast and I had Hungry Jack’s for lunch. All in all, it was a great day out and I look forward to finding another trip to Goulburn in the near future to find some more caches. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found today and for allowing them to bring the Geocaching community enjoyment. TFTE & TFTC’s!

After a 5km walk from the Bungonia Campground to the Lookdown Lookout and back, as part of a navigation research project, followed by another 2km to find Troglodyte #3, I made my way home via Marulan and Goulburn to knock off a bunch of periodic table caches. Cache easily found. TFTC.

Messaged Rapidlywild to see when her next RDO was and suggested taking today to attend the CITO and collect some caches around the Goulburn area. She was keen so one of the FFLL team took a TOIL day as well.
Lovely day for it although a little chilly and all caches were found and we were also given prior permission to replace if any were missing. Loved the number of tree fishing caches here they are a bonus. We were joined by fitzy_1965 for the remainder of our tour around Goulburn which was helpful.
Thanks for the hide my_name_jeff_1 and thanks for a fun day out Rapidlywild and company fitzy_1965.

Received a message from FFLL#1 about 2 weeks ago asking when my next RDO was at work, oh there is a daytime event on in Goulburn today? cool, so RDO was booked. We made our way up the highway and grabbed a couple caches prior to the event. We decided to start at the northern end of Goulburn and grab whatever we could throughout the day. We were joined by DSD before the event as we made our way across the mountain collecting caches we hadn't signed and post the event, we were joined by Fitzy. It was a great day out and about, the weather was wonderful and we had a lovely time, sure beats sitting in the office.
Now we had done the CITO, it was time to continue our adventures and we had Fitzy join us for the ride. Onto the next closest and this was the target. No issues at this one, signed and replaced for next finders.
Thanks for the cache placement and maintenance my_name_jeff_1 and thanks for a super fun day out and about FFLL

Spent the day in and around Goulburn searching out a few caches. TFTC.

minniek and I helped the CO plan, prepare and deploy all the caches in this series. The next of many you could say
Enjoy and Sing-a-long everyone...

And now, ASAP Science presents:
The elements of the Periodic Table!
[Verse 1]
There's Hydrogen and Helium
Then Lithium, Beryllium
Boron, Carbon everywhere
Nitrogen all through the air
With Oxygen so you can breathe
And Fluorine for your pretty teeth
Neon to light up the signs
Sodium for salty times
Magnesium, Aluminium, Silicon
Phosphorus, then Sulfur, Chlorine and Argon
Potassium, and Calcium so you'll grow strong
Scandium, Titanium, Vanadium and Chromium and Manganese
[Chorus]
This is the Periodic Table
Noble gas is stable
Halogens and Alkali react aggressively
Each period will see new outer shells
While electrons are added moving to the right
[Verse 2]
Iron is the 26th
Then Cobalt, Nickel coins you get
Copper, Zinc and Gallium
Germanium and Arsenic
Selenium and Bromine film
While Krypton helps light up your room
Rubidium and Strontium then Yttrium, Zirconium
Niobium, Molybdenum, Technetium
Ruthenium, Rhodium, Palladium
Silver-ware then Cadmium and Indium
Tin-cans, Antimony then Tellurium and Iodine and Xenon and then Caesium and
[Bridge]
Barium is 56 and this is where the table splits
Where Lanthanides have just begun
Lanthanum, Cerium and Praseodymium
Neodymium's next to
Promethium, then 62's
Samarium, Europium, Gadolinium and Terbium
Dysprosium, Holmium, Erbium, Thulium
Ytterbium, Lutetium
[Verse 3]
Hafnium, Tantalum, Tungsten then we're on to
Rhenium, Osmium and Iridium
Platinum, Gold to make you rich 'til you grow old
Mercury to tell you when it's really cold
Thallium and Lead then Bismuth for your tummy
Polonium, Astatine would not be yummy
Radon, Francium will last a little time
Radium then Actinides at 89
[Chorus]
This is the Periodic Table
Noble gas is stable
Halogens and Alkali react aggressively

Geocaching with IamCoust south east of collector all the way to Goulburn. Stopped twice by curious muggles, one with a possible shotgun in the car, as for the caches, most ok, some damp and some un-signable. A fun cold day out driving these country roads. TFTC
Out for a few caches around Collector on a cool and windy day with Green-Martian. Most were found without issue but a good number of logs were damp or worse. Log signed and replaced before moving onto the next. Any details of note or interest added to the end log. TNLNSL TFTC
A trip to Goulburn to pick up some newer caches. A bit windy, but otherwise a good day. All caches, bar one, found OK. Thanks
Found with sebass19 on a fun day of caching in Goulburn whilst here for today's GGGT CITO. Lovely sunny day. We decided to start our day south of the Hume to attack some element caches. Parked nearby and made a very quick find. TFTC!
After a great event last night the weather was turning and I considered driving home, but hey I drove all the way out here, might as well stay the night and see how this morning was going to be. It certainly started of wet, but still doable for caching. Made my way from Goulburn to Yass via a lot of detours. On my way back home now, again picking up loose ends.

Nice quick find.
Nice quick find.
Found It!
This is not a great place to park. Thankfully there wasn't much traffic here today.

Managed to spare a bit of time whilst staying on a nearby property to knock a few newer Goulburn caches off. TFTC!
Today's activities started with a work lunch, probably my last Christmas work activity. This was a fun time and it was fun to see a few people I had not seen since April. Next it was time to get on the road to Goulburn. It was a nice clear day, but very windy. I did three caches off the federal highway before settling in to a handful of Periodic table caches. The evening was a chance to attend the two events, and see a new cache get placed.
I enjoyed by trip around the edge of Goulburn visiting a selection of the ground based elements caches. All were found in good condition today.
Thanks for the cache my_name_jeff_1
