I love all the Japanese logic puzzles, so this was solved on publish day. Finally got to GZ - really hard to see even when you know its there! Thanks
Been meaning to get out to this one for a while now. This Saturday we had some Tas Community work to do on Where did he hide it, so we started our day finding nearby caches and worked our way outward to fill our day until it was time to meet chamad and TripleTurmoil at Mures.Found on 08/06/2024 at 14:08:00 thanks to mr_johna for placing this cache for me to find. Never done this type of puzzle before but solved last night and went for an early morning drive. A great challenge TFTC
Thanks mr_johna for hiding this cache, I needed a find for today to update my calendar and find streak. Your Mystery cache, Paper Puzzle - Nurikabe, was just what I needed. Today we further explored our back yard and finding caches in and around the Hobart area and this was one of them.We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. Having previously solved this puzzle we made a quick find at GZ today. Many thanks to the CO's for your cache placement and for the puzzle.
Today I need to find a couple of caches. This one took me a little while to find late at night. Thanks for the cache!
My wife and I have flown down from Brisbane to Hobart for a short holiday to use up the last of our remaining flight credits collected during Covid.
After spending most of the day yesterday out caching, today was dedicated to sight seeing and spending time with my darling wife. This morning we had booked a trip out to MONA, with a ride on the ferry to get there. After completing our visit to the eclectic collection of artwork, my wife went looking for somewhere for us to enjoy some food and a drink, while I ducked off for a walk to find this cache.
Arriving at GZ it was clear where the cache would be located and it was discovered after a short search. TFTC

After a few misses with the puzzle I finally got the green light, TFTP TNLN log dry easy find on a bright sunny day.
Had tried to solve this several times at the event for which it was published. It could be described as the cache that sent the CO "round the twist"!!!! Haven't been able to follow up since the event so today with time to spare picked up whilst returning from New Norfolk. Quick find and good spot with good parking.

This puzzle was quickly solved when it was first published, although I didn’t quite understand how the puzzle worked.
We were coming back from New Norfolk this afternoon so stopped off to have a look for this and one other cache. We parked quite close to GZ but walked to the other one first before coming back to this one. After a few minutes of looking I spotted something which turned out to be the cache. The log book was signed and the cache put back in it’s hiding spot with no muggles around.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache mr_johna!

The concept behind the puzzle was straightforward but it wasn't until the formula was finalised that we got answers which pleased the checker.
We went to look for the cache as we started our trip home today. We were guided by the hint as our GPS wanted us about 7m away. The cache blended well with its surroundings. The cache and the contents were in good condition. Thanks mr_johna for the puzzle and cachem

Thanks for the puzzle cache mr_johna.
Out and about late this afternoon with the GeoGSP's in the northern suburbs.
This looks like a type of puzzle that I normally flinch at, and pass to someone else to solve. But having read the description I realised this was a lot more like something I was familiar with and enjoyed. Having got the thumbs up from the checker, we made our way to GZ and made a nice quick find.

Today I had a plan to go to Port Arthur to find some caches and complete an adventure lab. As it turned out a got a phone call and a mate needed me, so I went toward Glenorchy instead.
After spending some quality time with him, I went back to job number 2 and did some Christmas shopping.
Completed quite a bit of the shopping, and returned home for an afternoon nap, which considering the up coming week will be required.
TFTC to grab on the way to do some shopping
Quite a neat little puzzle, which I found a little away from the coordinates I determined, but considering the heavy cloud I might not have been getting a good GPS signal

Hello mr_johna thank you for the cache.
This was a very easy puzzle to solve.
Today I easily found your cache after waiting for a muggle to leave.

After a few false starts earlier in the day, I was sitting at home waiting to go out again and saw the CO had updated the puzzle. I started it all again and soon had the coordinates. Somewhere where I thought had looked suitable earlier. SSR and I called in tonight on our way to the evening event and made a quick find. A joint {*FTF*} at 10.16pm
Thanks mr_johna
