A trip up to do the Big Question Mark with OZGrumpy and Astro. Another quick find.
Thanks opted-out user for placing this cache and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #10850 on 9/11/2024 at 4:29PMThree of us headed north to collect a few smileys. Our target was the BigQ and also collect anything else we found along the way. Signed logs as TOAD (Team Ozgrumpy Astro doineedthis). A great day out, Thanks to all the COs for their time and effort.
**Found by Snap Happy** Out and about with GoodLook and TheDame as we headed to Yorke Peninsular for the night. Today we met up with CPWanderer, GizmosGang, Mogni, SirSpectre, JJS2, TK2, Plesiosaur22, TubbyBooBoo, JeffEddy, Martini989, Tweety2, TravelinBees, AllisterW, Northstar76, Superman22, LiB, Earthlight, Shandyk, SpiderMonkeysMum and FrogHoppin. Our caching name today was *"Siren Seekers"*. Logs were either stamped or signed with this group name or 'SS' depending on the size of the log and container. After the nearby early morning CITO, it was time to hit the road. The teams streamed out of the starting gates in search of this fabled marine creature with the head and upper body of a human being and the tail of a fish - They apparently loved music and often sang. Well, the only music today was from the radio in the car and the occasional 'found it' before making our way onto the next in the series and the few occasional and scattered caches along the way. Most caches were found quickly with a couple needing a longer search but all found. Caches were all in good condition unless otherwise stated. The thing I love about caching is the interesting stories, the extra interest and attention you take when traveling, the sight-seeing, the history, the interests of the individual COs, *the fantastic photo opportunities* and sometimes finding places that even some locals dont know about. I, like most cachers, look for more than a mint tin or a container under a bush. I appreciate the time that most COs take to construct a cache and write up a comprehensive listing and to create an interesting cache. **I love traveling this big land of ours.** I love taking the roads less travelled. I love the diversity of the land, the different scenes in the different seasons, the fresh air, the open plains, the lofty vistas and the magnificent waters. I even enjoy the longer scenic walks although I'm not as young and as fit as I used to be. I love the different coffee shops I find. I enjoy the times I cache with others but I usually cache on my own.The weather was lovely and a sunny but cool 19C . The vistas stunning and I particularly love the bright yellow fields of canola (especially if they had old buildings in them). The coffee shops and bakeries wonderful and the company fabulous. Many laughs ensued as we made our way North West.I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues. Thank you BIGBADBRADLEY for highlighting this area and for providing this game piece for our enjoyment. Thanks for the history lesson too. Appreciate your efforts. - PMany thanks BIGBADBRADLEY for the fun and laughs.**Warning**, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to learning new things and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. *Took:* Nothing*Left:* Nothing.Cache on! **#19516**
What a great day it was. Working with quite few teams today the team name is siren seekers. Put a photo of all the names on here. Thanks for place these. What a fun day but now Im so tired. Connor_2011 was with me too. These were done while were doing sirens series and the ? Series
It has been a big morning starting with a CITO & then finding the Siren geoart. With time to spare we decided to move on to the big question and answer all of life's big question. As we head that way we stopped to pick up this one. Thankfully this was much easier to find than our last Big Bradley cache that ended in a DNF. The cache was soon retreived and log signed as SS (Siren Seekers). TFTC!
Out and about buzzing over the top of Yorkes. This cache was found as a group- SS. We cached up and down, in and around rocks with many caches located and signed.Mrs Bee only had one mishap of stumbling backwards over rocks! She also had some yummy scones with home made jam to end the day, what a way
Found after the Clean Up Paskeville Sports oval CITO. The siren of the sea geoart was found with a flash mob of cachers ( about 20 ), then we had a early lunch and moved on to do the Big Question mark series. This was one of the caches found while doing The Big Question mark series geoart. All logs signed either with SS or siren seekers. Found with Mogni and JJ52. This weekend it was off to do the Abandoned Railway Sidings/Stations series both in Port Wakefield and also the Abandoned Railway Sidings/Stations trail between Moonta and Kandia plus any other caches that we passed along the way, plus JJ52 was hosting a event in Moonta for her 20,000 cache. It was a busy Saturday day and night, since we went caching after the event in the dark as well. Sunday started with co-hosting a CITO event at Paskeville early in the morning then meeting up with about 20 other teams and doing the Siren Of The Sea geo art then a early lunch and then moving on to do the The Big Question geo art with the remaining teams that haven't already done it. Then it was time to drive home only stopping for a couple more caches. No snakes were sighted but i did get nearly a dozen bug/ant bites over 3 different gz's and stung by a bee in the chest. For the first time in a very, very, very long time i didn't need to replace any full log sheets ( nano log sheets don't count, do your own maintenance ). A very, very tiring weekend given the amount of km's either walked or pedaled but a good weekend away. Surprisingly the weather was a lot better than expected not to hot or cold given the thunder storms either this week.
Found as a group and logged as SS. We had a great day travelling the back roads doing as many caches as we could. A fun day . TFTC
What a day out!! Started with a CITO at Paskeville with many from the previous nights dinner event in Moonta. Many others had driven over from Adelaide for a fun day out. Logged as SS Gotta love a smiley face on the map. Thankyou for placing and maintaining it. TNLNSL

On a trip to Port Broughton for a Park Run event and weekend away camping, with some coffee and lunch in us, we went caching! Thanks for the cache!
Quick find here this evening in the dark as we stopped by, cache is all goodThis weekend Courtneyrose_ and I headed to the Copper Coast for a night away, our plan was to attend parkrun at Port Broughton followed by a nice day out on the bikes completing the larger section on the Copper Rail Trail from Wallaroo to Moonta. A nice night away with nearly 100 finds for the trip. Thanks for the cache
Quick find without drawing any blood was wary to start with only wearing thongs and shorts. TNLNSL TFTC
We enjoyed a day in the Mid North with a tadpole who loved finding 'treasures'. An interesting day filled with playgrounds, enjoying lunch on the Pt Broughton lawns, good food and an assortment of cache finds.TFTC
After a Podiast appointment in Port Pirie, I headed south for some geocaching. Aim was to finished Sad Fisher series and more of the Mail Road trail, also picking any on the way and in between. All caches were in good condition unless mention in the log. TFTCPlease with simple and no blood.
Quick find for a change, and no blood spilt. However, once these pest plants grow, it may be a different story!
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor. We are on the home stretch now, just a few days in the Yorke to pick up a few caches. Thanks for the cache.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. After spending some time in Peterbough and Minlaton we moved to Moonta to grab finds in Moonta and surrounds. Out on wet and misty day run to Redhill caching enroute. This was our second stop of the day and the contrasting colour of the container aided in its quick spotting but Bradley you are still still bad!
Day 2 of my short Geocaching weekend. Today I went from Swan Reach back Home after an Emergency Back home so then ended up going north for the next few nights instead of back up the River. Tonight I stayed at White Cliffs Reserve not much room spare here plenty of others got then same idea as me.
After finish dealing wioth the Emergence back home I headed back out for some more and this was the first one I came accross. gave it the normal 5 minute look but luckely was in the forst

A delightful little spot for a cache.
Though I did wonder if the cross was a cacher who didn't make it...
Our grateful thanks for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance BIGBADBRADLEY .

In a hazardous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid objects falling from trees
- - - a cache a day keeps the boredom away
--------
Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]
----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on
(Covid cancels caching! - Flu finished fun!))
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
Special thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
The end. For now... ... until next time!

Thanks for the cache
Well this one wasn't so friendly and certainly drew blood but we did at least find it so that made it worthwhile. Tftc
