Outnabout with the lovely lucymogus celebrating a birthday while in town for a couple of days. Another great day for caching. TFTC YoubanIf youre reading this, could you do me a favour and log a will attend for the Sunshine Coast Block Party, Sunday 5th October 2025 - GCARTY0 The organisers need 300 Will attends to lock in the Block Party Status allowing them to organise some extra fun activities and events. Hope to see you there. And for anyone looking for bucket list event to attend, check out: GCANXX1 - GeoWoodstock XXI on 24th May 2025 in West Virginia, USA. See you there.
Visiting on holidays from Victoria. Arrived just after midnight last night so coffee was the first stop for the morning before heading to the Markets at Batemans Bay. Was excited to see a cache near by, ever more excited when I realised I was parked extremely close to said cache. Luckily its quiet here today made signing easy and quick, although log is wet i could still sign. Tftc!
Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC.Started the day by doing everything at Mogo and the caching around Durras, north of Batemans Bay.One objective was to get the oldest Eathcache on this planet. Amazingly I didn't know it was so close. Grabbed the other nearby EC as well.Next was to get all the solved puzzles of the rally cars as well as an interesting multi. One more Earthcache to end the day.Nice AL and quick find for bonus cache.
As the previous log say they had it. The question that asked was "Are you doing what we are" As we where behind a toilet block I was careful with my answer. All OK TFTC
Did the AL after visiting Mogo zoo and having a bite to eat. Took log to car to grab a pen and when heading back to rehide came across someone roaming with phone a pen in hand and couldn't rehide . Thinking we had another cacher I asked are you doing what we are and as he was I handed cache to him and showed him where to rehide Thanks for the tour of Mogo a lovely small town we often stop at
A return visit to Mogo and good to see it is still doing OK after a number of setbacks. We wandered round the shops with far smaller crowds than we have encountered on our Christmas visits. Then off to find the bonus. The activity today was a leisurely drive south down the coast exploring and then across to Mogo at the highway before heading back to our camp.We visited some lovely areas with fantastic coastal views and walked some coastal paths. A bonus was the caches we found along our way on an overcast but lovely day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Youban.**SKI Pair****
Accompanied with ALL7, I travelled to Mouya today for a few caches, but the weather is rainy.Enjoyed with LAB, Nice walk to GZ, amazing cache..TFTC
Hubby had an ice cream while I completed the adlab and bonus. Thanks for a top adventure.
Nice walk through town yesterday doing the AL, but forgot to do the bonus cache, so I came back this morning after checking out of our accommodation and had a quick find! TFTC
Day 22 of my interstate trip. Today I packed up and left Bateman's Bay and finally made my way to Canberra where I will be staying for 3 nights. I managed to find 11 caches today and only 1 DNF.After a tour of the town made my way to the final. Thanks for the tour.TFTC Youban
Its amazing how quickly the town has bounced back after the fires. a very busy town with locals and tourists around, It was problematic getting a parking spot to do the stages. fav point
A quick find here after completing the nice little AL. Cache and log in very good condition. Thanks, Youban!
Its always nice to have a bonus after an Adlab. Visiting Canberra for the Mighty Mega. A wonderful event! Many thanks Youban for providing this game piece for our enjoyment.
After a great night with friends at Chateau Youban, fitzy_1965 and I headed off to cache our way back home. Not too many on our list so we took our time and enjoyed the sites. Has been a while since I've stopped in Mogo so made sure I had some fudge in my bag for dessert tonight. Thanks Youban for another great AL.
34,047. Found with minniek while heading home after a fun visit to the region.Day 2 of our coast visit. After a superb night staying at Youban's place, where the Home Brew, Red Wine and Geocaching banter did flow, we were all up early this morning for the Beach Breakfast BBQ. Our thanks to the chefs who cooked up a storm of delicious Bacon Eggs and Sausages. After that we started on our way to a leisurely meander home via certain caches. This was the next one. We stopped at a convenient area and found this one after completing the AL. Quick find at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one. Thanks Youban !!
#21507 @1225A weekend trip to the coast with AngelG27 to attend the 20 year aniversary of the first earthcache. After this morning's breakfast event we visited a few Moruya caches, then stopped in busy Mogo to complete the AL, and this bonus, before heading back to Canberra. Cache easily found. TFTC.
Cache 10897 on 14 Jan 2024. Heading down the coast this weekend with TikvaNZ to attend two geocaching events, grab some other caches and generally catch up with other cachers! A great opportunity to get out of the bra and enjoy some new sights and vistas. My first time to the coast this summer! This cache: after a yummy BBQ breakfast, TikvaNZ and I decided to grab a few more caches before heading up the Clyde. Last cache for our coastal journey. Finished the AL and grabbed this easy bonus cache! Thanks Youban for the cache and the fun!
After a lovely weekend on the south coast, this was our last find today. Great to see Mogo returning to some normality. While at GZ I was reminded that sad day was 4 years ago. Thanks for the AL and bonus cache.TFTC
As I drove through after the afternoon event at durrus I was surprised how quiet it was. All the shops were closed. So I had no pesky muggle tourists to get in the way. I was a little surprised by the gz. But convenient after a long drive. Thanks for the fun.
Came to town for breakfast and did the AL while here. Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
Out for a day of caching on the South Coast with Steeba and The Rats, aiming for a few series and finishing with the 20th Anniversary Earthcache Event.Quick find after finishing the Lab.Cheers
Down for a day at the coast with K8TYBEE and GLISS! to celebrate the anniversary of the worlds first earthcache find. Great to be able to do the AL and grab this cache whilst we were in the area. Thanks for the great little adventure
Found It!Stopped here in the dark for one last cache for the day. Found it after a short search of the area.TFTC
Weekend trip to Moruya and South Durras for the Twentieth Anniversary of the Wasps Head Earth cache, First in the world. Day 1. It was an early start to catch up with other caches down in Batemans Bay. I still managed a few stops along the way and had a smooth drive down the hill, despite all the traffic. I joined up with Tankengine, Dty73, Aquillus and Joolay and headed down to Moruya via Mogo and the LABs there. A brief lunch and we collected Youban was next. The after noon was a trip in Flintones tesla with Aquillus, Joolay and myself to target the Earth caches north of Moruya along the coast. We fit in a few other caches before heading onto town for a great dinner at a local pizza shop. There were heaps and heaps of people wandering up and down the street, but that did not stop me getting to the five locations and finding the right answers for the Adventure Labs. This gave us the GZ for the bonus cache, which was happily right where I parked the car, so I walked back and joined the others for the find. Thanks for the cache Youban45286.5 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Adventure Lab A#458**Albida**
A cache trip to the coast for the 20th anniversary of the worlds first Earthcache in South Durras and as part of an Canberran invasion with a number of CBR cachers staying Moruya till Sunday. After meeting up with everyone in the Bay the day went on with some more caches along the coast. This cache: A quick find doing the AL and finding the bonus cache soon after. Again a number of us had done it but was kind enough to stick around. Thank you Youban for putting the cache out and maintaining it.
Nice wander around Mogo. Quick find at the end.Heading to the coast for the 20th Anniversary event for the 1st Earthcache in the world at South Durras. Adventuring on the way. Thanks for getting me out and about Youban

Out again on another beautiful day. Found with Bogonghazy. Thanks for placing the geocache
Found with LittleBoss2 as we cruise into BB for another day of caching. Feel pretty confident this is a throw down. Nowhere near the bushes and about 13m out. But there's at least a dozen logs on it. Anyway, thanks for the great lab cache Youban
LittleBoss2 and I went back and found the original cache, and have removed the throw down.
We've spent the previous days enjoying the sun and scenery, so today was a change with a bit of Mogo shops. Wandered along exploring as I completed the Adventure lab as well. I've passed through many times but never stopped till today. With the AL completed we found ourselves right where we needed to be! Cache was very exposed so left covered a bit. Thanks for the cache!
After completing the AL soon came up with a gz only 20 metres from where I was parked. TFTC.
A quick stop in Mogo after spending the morning at the Wildlife Park. Enjoyed the wander through with the Adventure Lab. TFTC
Day 3. A last minute plan had been hatched to make my way to QOGM. Very little planning had been done but a very rough outline was in place and it was going to be a day by day trip.
After an evening in Eden, it was off north along the coast towards Batemans Bay.
A quick tour around Mogo, except for the guessing game at the non existent Lolly shop. A quick find at GZ tonight. Now to find some dinner.
Thanks Youban for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

We are heading to Canberra to catch up with friends for a couple of days caching and we decided to leave early and take the more scenic route and grab a few caches along the way.
We are mainly concentrating on Ad Labs, virtual's and earth caches as they don't give us muggle problems.
We really enjoyed the adventure lab and once finished we were rewarded with a set of co-ords for this bonus cache which when we punched them in we were quite surprised so we headed off to gz and had a little bit of a search where the GPSr was pointing and had the cache in hand not long after and added our name before returning everything as it was.
Many thanks for the adventure lab and for this bonus cache.

On our way to the event this morning in Batemans Bay, we left our campsite in Tomakin and came via Mogo for a visit.
We enjoyed the AL very much. Visiting Mogo used to be a regular summer occurrence for us. Always time for a gelato and the visit to the sweet shop, along with a lovely secondhand bookshop.
Thanks Youban

The not so small one did all the hard work but the medium one got her eyes on the prize first. A pleasant stroll through Mogo, now to treat ourselves to ice cream and a browse through the lolly shop!

We don't cache a lot anymore. Visiting Mogo and saw this on the map. Hadn't heard of adventure lab until today. Interesting concept. A nice little tour of this quaint town. Thanks for the adventure. Cheers.
Although I helped put this one out I forgot to log it. But today Tankengine and I came past to check on it anyway.
The Tassie Trekkers did an awesome job replacing this one and it was well hidden when we arrived.

While staying in the area we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Mrs "T" did the walk through the Lab caches and was rewarded with a final for this series. As many muggles were about we found the cache later on. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks Youban for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We enjoyed looking around the town doing the AL. Thanks for creating it. The bonus was an easy find.
Out for breakfast in this small town. Also, a cache to go. Thank you for the visit
After a short walk around the town, that Grub62 and I enjoyed, we were able to find the bonus cache quickly. Sadly it was out in the open a bit so after logging it we placed it back in a bit more of a hidden situation. TFTC.
Thank you for the Adventure Lab and the walk around Mogo - Youban. I thoroughly enjoyed the stores we walked into. The cache was found quickly and once signed we replaced it out of the gardeners way.
I have been to Mogo soooo many times. Thanks for showing me some details that I have not noticed before. A quick find at gz with Commando04
Thanks for a fun tour around a very busy Mogo (what a cute little town). If in the area I highly recommend the Mogo Zoo. So good. Found the cache. Thanks

GeoSon National Steel and I headed out to Mogo and Batemans Bay for a morning's caching.
