Logs
Check KB past log for correct coords but be aware the cache is now located in the garden and the Aquatic Centre Mgr isnt too happy about it so stealth required tftc!
Found by Mary and David at 10:00. Both managers appeared and asked if we were looking for that "thing". They said it hadn't been near the door for several months, and others had looked without success. They didn't mind if we kept looking, as the Centre was closed until November. Found references in past logs to KB's log, which led us quickly to the cache in its new spot. The Deputy manager reappeared and we showed her where it was. She was fascinated, especially when we showed her a map of all the caches around Toodyay and Perth. She has investigated Geocaching before, and was now fired up to try in earnest. We may have a new convert. Our thanks to TheLittleSquad.
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Back in WA to visit family and work Grain Harvest. Now staying a few days in Hoddyswell with Iluvtrekking. We headed out towards Hoddywell falls first up. We only got to 300mts from the parking point before abandoning the car. 2 1/2 hrs later back at the car with 4 smilies. Saw lots of wildflowers on the enjoyable walk. Then we headed off to town to grab a couple more caches. Eventually found some distance from our GZ. Glad to clear off a sad face here. Found at s31 32.860 e116 28.471TFTC TheLittleSquad
Thanks team for placing and maintaining this cache for us to enjoy. We are on the way home from a fantastic weekend in Toodyay just trying to get the last few in town we had on the list. Found thanks to K.B. S photo and coordinates
Out and about on the last day of IGD2024 picking up a few smilies to finish the weekend off.Got the heads up on this one last night and used K.B.'s coords to quickly locate the container.TheLittleSquad I found your cache at 8:51am, this was the 1st of 5 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 8841. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.SLTFTC
After a quick read of previous logs and using the co ords given by K.B. I came and avenged my previous DNF. TFTC
Find 12 of 15 on the Sunday morning of IGD, dodging the showers and trying to get to 20 for the day to hit our 13000 milestone. Thanks to KB's log and a passing motorist (thanks PollyTheCollie!) giving us the required info, we made the find here! Not magnetic any more, and doesn't need to be.TFTC TheLittleSquad!
Put with iluvtrekking collecting more finds on the IGD event weekend. Hope to complete before the predicted deluge arrives. Confirmed location with a previous finder but not there. CO May need to check.
Possibly May need to be checked searched everywhere and could not find and have 4 previous DNFs
Searched all around high, low & anywhere magnetic. Pete found it today for us. Quite a few metres from GZ though.
Its not a mint tin anymore and its at S 031 32.861' E 116 28.468' or there shouts. Thanks to prior finders for their help.
After being told at the evening event that the cache had been found, we returned with iluvtrekking under cover of darkness to search again. Cache is not as per the hint and the co-ords are several mts away from those listed. Recorded our visit. Thanks for the hide.
Having read a hint from a previous finder, we returned after the evening event for a second look. We soon had the cache in hand and logged our visit. TFTC.
Found it probably needs a better container instead of being jammed in a water bottle plastic seal cap Tftc
Today is International Geocaching Day and we are up in TOODJAY at the event put on by West Oz Geocaching Committee to mark this special day and weekend . The geocaching plan today for Taurus Six and I was : Firstly, to collect all the puzzle caches just out of town on the Goomalling- TOODJAY Road, we had solved all puzzles earlier the last few with a little help from CO . Secondly, we need to collect a couple of caches from the two LGAs east and north of TOODJAY to qualify for the challenge cache we accomplished this. For Goomalling as part of the GG series then we hit the back roads to Victoria Plains and collected a few in Bolgart; thirdly , we are collecting all the challenges caches also just out of town, especially now that we have the correct LGAs - we had the pleasure of undertaking many of these caches with PP2; fourthly , we are collecting the multi caches that just came out yesterday having solved them last night and this morning here again we had the pleasure of caching with PP2 ; fifthly , we are collecting all the Adventure Labs around town and sixthly; we will collect any other geocaches that we come across for the day. The weather is looking inclement so we best get as many early as possible because it looks like it could be stormy . All in all a fabulous day of geocaching in this glorious part of WA . Thanks to the organisers and all the geocachers who have placed caches especially for this weekend . alas we searched and searched and there were other geocachers searching but could not find
Meandering around the Wheatbelt for IGD 2024 at Toodyay.A great start to the day with this new series of multis showcasing the local history. Then off for a drive through the countryside, the crops are looking great!Thankfully we found these before the weather set in.Made it back to the Hall just in time to grab the last of the sausage sizzles for lunch.Detoured out this way before heading back to the caravan for the night. Thanks to the COs for placing these caches out in the Wheatbelt.TFTC
Regrettably, my search for the cache yielded no success today. It's now on my checklist, and I'm determined to give it another shot in the near future.Hopefully, next time, I'll uncover the elusive prize waiting to be claimed. Until then, the hunt continues!
Out and about again, been waiting for IGD for a while and coming to a town I have a lot of connection with. Nice to explore the area with fellow cachers and the beautiful surroundings. After not finding earlier, Iran into people in the event and headed back and found. Not really matching the hint and coords. This cache is find number - 16175.Thanks to TheLittleSquad for the caches I have found.

Chwiliwr and I planned a trip out to Toodyay today to do as many caches that we could in the area however due to medical instructions no walking was allowed so it was only those caches that we could park nearby that could be attempted. All caches attempted were found without problems. Logs signed and caches returned as they were found. Thanks TheLittleSquad for placing this cache for other cachers to find.

No luck for me here. There weren't many people about but I still went and told the staff what I was doing. They knew about the cache. After a good look around I came up empty. Maybe next time..
Avenging a previous DNF here when the cache was AWOL. Pretty quiet at GZ with the rain. Tftc
Headed out to the Wheatbelt for a night of camping with B12, C10 and Geotrakka. Rolled out of Perth nice and early with the intention of cleaning up caches south of the Great Eastern Highway, before changing direction and pushing north and west towards Koorda. The next day we pushed west. Love spending time out in the Wheatbelt, perfect weather for it too! Cheers TheLittleSquad!

Found after a short search with sbirgert. Was melted easier that the centre was closed.
Currently not there as it has been taken again, waiting for a new mini magnetic cache to arrive. will update as soon as we replace it.
No luck today, not sure if it was replaced or not but no one was around to disturb the search. Will be back.
Full time nomads stopping in Toodyay for a while.
Mr Felix headed out early this morning before the local establishment opened.
Had a good look but no luck for him today.

No luck for us today despite a thorough search of Gz and the ground underneath. Thanks anyway:(
Late log found this cache heading home from Christmas in Mukinbudin, had my little Geo puppy with me and used this find as a quick walk and stretch before continuing the homeward journey. Thanks
Yay .. [^][^] ... *FTF* @ 0730 ... [^][^]
We woke this morning to see this cache had been published about half an hour earlier. A freshly brewed coffee was loaded into a travel mug, and I was off.
Arriving at GZ, i noticed the front doors of the centre were already open . I couldn't see anyone inside, so carefully began the hunt. After eliminating the first option due to a severe lack of iron oxide , i moved to the next spot. A quick feel around, and the tiny prize was located and retrieved.
*Note .. you don't need to be in the garden to retrieve this one, but you can be a LOT stealthier if you are.
