Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumulated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Sol's day the twentieth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Found the cache on he ground opened, and the wet log about 2m away. Unable to sign log and have returned the cache to where I think it belongs!
Motorhoming around in winter and finding a cache here and there. We detoured here on the way to Ararat. TFTC & a fav pt for bringing us yp this lovely area.
A quick find after the phone settled. Stopped here to eat bakery goods whilst on way to Halls Gap for the weekend. TFTC
I found this geocache during a recent trip, however, for sme reason my log didn't automatically upload from my GPS as it is programmed to.Thanks for your cache hide and the effort that you put into maintaining it,
Found at 11:52 AM GAFF1.Lovely neat park and we found a hedge of rosemary that we took a couple of sprigs for our roast lamb tonight on the BBQ back at camp. Thanks to Duntulum
A quick find at a muggle free and pretty little park.No coffee here today though. Thanks Duntulum.
An interesting piece of local history and a nice park in its place now. The cache was well hidden but easy to spot, a good combination for longevity. Thanks for the cache Duntulum.
On our second day of our current trip to Adelaide, we headed from Ballarat to Kaniva, caching along the way. This was one of the caches we visited in Stawell. It took us sometime to find this cache, not because of the difficulty of the hide but a muggle using the area for a leisurely lunch. Once he had finished his lunch and wandered off, accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Duntulum for placing more caches in the Stawell area, giving us reasons to come back into the area rather than just driving past.
Find 4617 on February 27, 2024Day#1 on Fergzters roadtrip to the Great Leap Forward Mega Event in Adelaide. Today's stretch was from Ballarat to somewhere near Horsham. A pleasant spot for a well hidden cache. All is well with the cache. TFTC Duntulum
This one is very well camouflaged. It took a couple of checks of the same spot before it was spotted. Log signed as the church nearby chimed away. Tftc
Heading for Halls Gap, we stopped in Stawell for lunch and a bit of restocking. This cache was found in a very pretty park.
2nd foe today in Stawell as I pass through heading to BendigoHave to limit my geo time today as need to be at bendigo by 2pmThanks for the smile
Found by Mary and David at 13:30. What is better than a Duntulum cache - two of them! Took a while with our old eyes. So many places within range to check. A great little park for the locals. Our thanks to Duntulum.
This was so hard to find and I still didnt after checking over every pole 3 times and having 2 fellow geocachers hunt with me.
Find No. 4386. Found at 11.59am.Mrs Tyred n Cranky went to Stawell by herself for an appointment and when that was over I went caching to find the three caches that had been hidden in various parks around Stawell. This was the first one I found. After reading the hint and seeing the area, I guessed where this one would be. I looked in the obvious spot, but I was wrong. So I kept on looking and next minute there it was - camouflaged out in the open just sitting there.Log signed, container replaced, now onto the next park.TFTC Duntulum

Together with Suscoe, we had been looking forward to another trip to South Australia for quite some time. Plans finalised, an early start from home and we were on our way, with Bordertown the rendevous point. Quite by chance we caught up with Suscoe at "Poor Diggers" in Stawell. Together from there we found a great variety of caches, including this one and completed a number of Adventure Labs as we made our way westward, grateful for the half hour we earned before reaching Bordertown, no time for a coffee!
Thanks to Duntulum for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Suscoe was heading westward today.
The drizzle was gradually clearing as we headed further towards the South Australian border.
We eneded up with a cloudy sky with a little bit of blue peeping through here and there.
The countryside is lovely and green.
Thanks to Duntulum for this hide, we were joined by Phetlern here and the cache was found.

With 3 unfound caches in Stawell it was a must to call into this lovely town and seek them out.
We love the host behind this location and the clever metal art work. Another quick find after reading the info board.
Thanks Duntulum for the placement.

Checked out this town while on a road trip with naughtybunny to the Grampians. It's sad to see so many shops empty. The cache was quickly found and logged. TNLN. Cheers.
Good to come back to my old stomping ground a decade later just to find these caches with riotgirlckb
A nice quick and easy find in Sunny Stawell while getting a new battery.

We were up in Stawell today for medical reasons, so we took the opportunity to find some caches while we were here.
It was a bit cold and damp today, so this created good muggle-free caching conditions. The cache was spotted quickly and log signed.
Thank you Duntulum for placing some more caches around Stawell.

TFTC. We are camped at Green Hill. Lake Ararat for the long weekend as we make our way slowly to Penola. An overcast morning with promise of sun today. Decided to take a trip out to Stawell to complete the Adventure Lab and pick up other caches that have been placed since our last trip out this way. A productive day with 8 finds as well as the Adventure Lab.
Interesting history of this small park.

The last cache for us today as we have a long journey home and a caravan to load in preparation to head off tomorrow. Hubby was onto this cache quickly due to great co-ords. SL TFTC
On a road trip with Michells&hound and allister w over to Ballarat to complete the Geo Tour as well as other highly favourited caches and odd ones we were going past. We had a great weekend with four seasons of weather over the three days and even managed to attend an event in Sebastopol before heading home. Saw lots of the countryside and very interesting places in and around Ballarat. [^]
Had a nice drive around Stawell and I had one of the famous vanilla slices which was pretty yummy. Allister found this cache in the first place he looked.
Thanks for the cache Duntulum.

Found with JJ52 and Michells&hound on our Ballarat Geo Tour trip. We left Adelaide early Friday morning and travelled home Sunday. We found all the Ballarat Geo Tour caches over the weekend as well as a few others along the way. We even attended a event in Sebastopol on Sunday before we headed home. I had a cornish pasty just before this cache a the bakery that makes the worlds best vanilla slice. The cornish pasty was pretty good. TFTC
Found with FUF009.
Visiting for the weekend. This was one of 3 FUF009 wanted to collect today.

A quick drive from the main park to another smaller park... wow, I have never noticed this place before.
Thankfully, we had the place to ourselves, so a logical, quick find n signed done.

Thank you planting this new geocache. Beautiful little spot in the shade in this lovely town!
Perfect location for a cache, nice place for a quick picnic and a little rest. Thanks Tina^^
I’ve never taken notice of this area before but it’s a nice spot with some interesting history. Quick find, thanks.

I'm travelling through so just a quick field log... more coming soon as I can.
Edit: Today was a long day, ended up being a 15.5 hour drive but made the most of my solo drive to stop and collect a few prized caches along the way. No family to annoy with my caching so it was perfect really!
A Victorian FTF is something I was keen to get one day, I had check earlier in the day but it had been a while so I thought time to stop and check. Pulling up into the shade of the church in Rupanyup I did chuckle, maybe the geocaching gods will give me some good luck!
... and perhaps they did as there was 3 in Stawell... hmm do I really want to drive 50km in the wrong way after 12 hours of driving? Sure I do, its risky
as perhaps they had been found already but it's worth the drive just incase.
One cache found it was the short distance into town with lots of parking and a very quiet area. In full disclosure, with this being a D1 I was terrified! I'm great at high D caches but hopeless at the easy ones. Sure enough I overlooked the obvious as it was on the opposite side of where I looked and hiding. Coords are great but I searched all likely locations, wasted a few minutes before coming back to were I started... yes, that's a true D1. I'm just.. well me!
