I attended with earthlight. A busy place today!
After standing around chatting a small group of us walked over to the nearby EC and came up with a list of answers which I then gave to the CO at the CITO that was held after this event ??

Well, we intended to attend, but a serious prang right in front of us at the intersection of South and Grange Roads put paid to us getting here, even with a minute to spare... as we assisted where we could until the services arrived.
Thems the breaks, at least the occupants were mostly ok..

Arrived at a very busy cafe and found the group of cachers just hanging around. Chatted to attendees for a while and didn't even manage to get a coffee. Wandered along to the CO's Earthcache nearby before heading to the CITO.

During lunch time today, I drove to the western suburbs and scored 12 caches, including 1 Multi Cache, 1 Event Cache, 4 Adventure Lab Caches, 3 Mystery Caches, 1 CITO Event Cache, and 2 Traditional Caches.
This was the second for today. The first event I attended in the year 2023!
Back to the familiar spot, for another cache event.
Tried hard to find a carpark next to the event location.
Signed the log book. Talked to the host that I just found the nearby Multi Cache owned by the host.

Arrived minutes late to have a prime parking spot and wandered over to say hello to old friends and new friends - happy new year everyone ! Glad we all made it safely through - Grabbed an amazing thick shake and chatted lots of caching and general nonsense for quite a while before heading off to do a cache or two!
My muggle mate and I went for our morning walk and grabbed a couple of caches before coming to the event. It was lovely to put faces to names and meet new people.
A bit of sunshine and a bit of a breeze, made for nice weather for an outdoor gathering.

First event of the year for me. Great spot, easy parking, perfect weather, and a nice turn out. Also I still have plenty of caches to find in this part of town, so that’s a bonus too. Thanks for the event pineapplegoldy.
