A nice quick find after completion of the AdLab. A fav point for the lab and bonus. Thanks for placing your cache. It has been a while since we got back from Europe, and it is time for us to see more of Home. Ms_KR and I are off to the West Coast for a wee break, and some caching. Today cruied around the area picking up plastic boxes!Occaisionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
I wouldn't say it gets wet here, but even the tree fungi have moss growing on them. I enjoyed this bonus. The bonus bonus was finding GC85653, which went missing when we were last here. The bonus bonus bonus was seeing Gow's Creek as Gow is my maiden name. Now that it's too late, I know how to take selfies with text the right way round. That sounds like a ..... good thing. Prolly worth a fave! Thank you holymu
I enjoyed collecting the information, and the final was a quick find. TFTC!!South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - MEGA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!
Had listed this adlab as one to do, but once we started were disappointed to realise that it is basically a drive by. Only the waypoint on the true right of the suspension bridge requires any walking. A missed opportunity - Colls Dam is an attractive spot, the tailraces are amazing, and the tunnel on the Tailrace Track is a must-see. Drove to the final - doesn't seem to be any connection to Nelson Creek?
TFTC! Nearly made us walk to GZ for this one but glad I was persuaded otherwise! Great multi
JD Scout went through the ?? log book and exclaimed ?? oh Tuftys been here??. We enjoyed completing the ?? lab and then finding a bonus was definitely a bonus. Sadly ?? this is the last geocache ?? find of the day. JDScout will be celebrating ????. I will ?? not.
#22978. Decided to drive here rather than walk. I did a multi-point turn while Troodles found the cache. This was puzzle find number #4998 for me; got to #5000 not long after (at a confused ducky). TFTC.
Enjoyed exploring the area via this ad lab and the other caches here. Wondered how the swing bridge was accessed as we walked towards it, then all was revealed! Pretty cool.
We had a bit of trouble with vodaphone (oops, I mean One NZ) reception, but it was pretty patchy in the Grey Valley the whole day, even in Greymouth at times.
Cache didn't take long to track down. Thanks for the added incentive to visit this interesting area and TFTC.

After gathering all the required info from the associated AdLab I was off to the GZ in my cachemobile.
Cheers for the cache, holymu.
Cheers for the cache, holymu.
I get excited by tunnels. I get excited by swing bridges. You can't believe how excited I was here!
After accumulating a whole family of confused duckies it was time to get these poor things out of their misery. We put some maintenance, a Lab Cache and a few multis in the mix and gambled that the window of opportunity to have a rainless run would come true. It did. Just a few times we had to manage our presence at GZ because of muggles but acting if you're supposed to be there and a friendly wave was all it took. Only after the last find for the day and a tally of 15 logs did enough rain spots hit the windscreen to do away with some dust. Logged for the record because I was present when the cache was constructed. It was nice to "do" the way points. Thank you Holymu
An easy find lots of holiday campers enjoying the hot sun by the Creek. Thanks for the Ad lab and Bonus.
Despite numerous trips here when my Aunt owned the pub I had never realised it was so popular!
Thanks

With family down from Auckland we were asked where we wanted to go today. As I had just noticed this new listing it was of course a no brainer. A nice wander around the loop that we haven't done since 2019 and then we drove around to grab the final. Took a pic to celebrate. Thanks for another Adlab.
