Adelaide and train trip Day 12. Blackwood day 4. After returning from my epic Ghan trip from Darwin to Adelaide yesterday, today was a day with a full day of caching planned. I was targeting the SFE challenges up beyond Norton Summit. I did a lot more walking than I expected and had to change my direction as some of the 'roads' I had targeted turned out to be reserve trails. I had a great day and apart from two Cherryville caches found everything I went looking for. I only just made it home in time, but it was well worth it.As I headed back towards the city and heading home, I stopped at a few suburban caches along the way. Solitary find of the day on my way to something in the the city. There is a cluster of these in the hills where I live, but I think that this is the first one in this series that I have found. Nice easy find here; I hope the muggles don’t find it, it seems a little exposed. I’ve just had a friend put a hive on my property and they’re doing well apparently. Great to have plenty of bees around. Thanks for the hide anime3Splat.
After a hike around Black Hill, I stopped here for a quick cache. Found without problems.
I used to live around the corner so I have spent many hours in this little park playing with my kids on the playground. But that was well before the Athelstone Community Garden was created.
I enjoyed reminiscing as I walked around this place.
Thanks for the cache Anime3Splat.

Today I performed maintenance on a cache of mine, and found 5 caches: 1 mystery cache, 1 multi cache, 2 Adventure Lab caches, and 1 traditional cache. This is the last one.
After visiting a friend in Newton, I decided to find a cache nearby, before heading back home. This is the closest one, so I tried this cache.
Parked near GZ, and found the cache in the first place I checked.
Signed the log sheet, and placed the cache back.
Thanks for the traditional cache, Anime3Splat.

Lucky for me that the cache had a writing utensil as I had stripped my car and bag and forgot to replace my pens ! Found on a drive-by grab and go as i took the kids to Thornton Park (was quite a warm day for me- this snake doesn't like anything over 22°). Haven't been up this side of town much myself so I enjoyed the drive around the area.

After the breakfast event in Norwood this morning, Cournteyrose_ and I detoured via some caches on the way home.
With my mother being a bee keeper it was always interesting getting up learning a thing or two and this just added to it. A quick and easy find here today
Thanks for the cache

Before meeting up with friends for caching Owl had some errands to do. These were completed in lightning speed so she had time to detour past a cache she's been meaning to get since it came out in her neighbourhood. It now has been.
It's a miracle! Now who said that!??[?]
Thanks to Anime3Splat and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
After being busy at home for a while needed to go out for some Xmas caching. It was never going to be on the day itself so it had to be on Xmas eve. Was on the road soon after getting up, ie early afternoon, headed west then south. Top of the list were a couple of AdLabs, also included, "while I was in the area", were eleven physical caches and this was the last.
After the nice quick find and stamp, read the nearby BEE information which I found very informative and useful. I do have an unrequired beehive my backyard, the bees and I have come to an agreement, I won't bother them and they won't bother me. Has worked so far.
Thanks Anime3Splat for putting out this cache for us all to find.

Woke to the sound of this cache being published and realised I would be able to head around as I was going to be in the area. Heading home, parked close by and wandered over to GZ and located the cache BFE style. Signed the log and replaced as found. Then got out the GPS to log the find.
