Logs
Out doing maintenance today and stopped in to replace the log sheet. All good to go again now!
Nice area with lovely native gardens, found cache and yes log is full, but there's still spots to squeeze initials and date on. Hot tip, if you require facilities, the public toilet block at Somers Tennis club Park are quite good!
Omegaman1971Support Your Local Villain Live - Laugh - Lurk First To Find: 183Sidetracked Cache Finds: 133It was great to see the sun out today, and even better to be doing some caching with Rebel Acts. I always enjoy caching down this end of the state, Cheers for the cache.
Out and about with omegaman, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Spotted as we walked towards it. The log sheet is now full and will need replacement. Thanks Beckgiz for the cache.
Found it on a spur of the moment after school hunt with the help of some geofriends
Ive been wanting to get one for ages as I pick up my daughter from school at this reserve! A nice way to end the day Quick find! Log book is full
Found it! Such a nice spot for a stroll. I forgot my pen so took a pic of the log. Also may need a new log soon as its very full. TFTC!
A nice walk in the park. A couple of days on the other side of metropolis in the company of TeamAstro. Thanks Beckgiz for showcasing this area and contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!
A great oval. Obviously not cricket season!!Thanks Beckgiz and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet! | | I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I
Muggles and more muggles. This one is quite exposed and required full stealth. TFTC.
We dropped by to do some maintenance on a mate's cache nearby. Since this cache was nice and close, and EveTheStaffy was ready to take a break from the GeoPrado, +Wife parked very close, and the cache was soon in hand. All good here. Thank you for placing this cache and the rest of this series too.
YAPIDKA! Not surprising given its new territory far from home base. On another multi mission today. After a catch up further down the coast with fam and friends, I started the trip back to Melbs via a few geocaches of course. Rather enjoyed this location. Made the wander and spied the cache immediately. TFTC and the FUN!
DNF last year but I had another try over a bigger search radius and there it was after all. TFTC
No doggies spotted here today. However I saw a man on an electric unicycle whizzing along.thanks for the hide and pointing out this little park.
I headed out with KristyAdventures this afternoon for a trip around this area and we just went and searched for whatever we came across for a few hours. The weather was nice and cloudy most of the time and not too hot, just how I like it. Stopped for a late lunch in the Balnarring bakery which was very busy. After a short walk from the car park the find was nice and quick and just as I put it back I here "oh hello there" and it scared the he'll out of me because I didn't notice anyone else in the park. But it was just a lady on the phone strangely for some reason coming out of the bushes nearby. Thanks Beckgiz for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

The sun was out and a pleasant walk over to GZ.
Spotted almost straight away.
Log signed and all back safe again.

I had recently introduced a work colleague to geocaching, but she and her young son had had trouble finding any caches. After a work breakfast at The General, we went for a walk/drive to find a couple. This was her second geocache! While we were searching, a woman was walking her dog along the path. She asked, "Are you geocaching?" I exclaimed, "YES!", and she told us that her daughter had recently found this one It was a wonderfully windy day, and I had a lovely time walking across the oval and listening to the wind in the trees
Thanks, Beckgiz & Gnome5580

Early morning and being nice and quiet made for an easy search, locate, log sign and return
All in excellent condition
Once done it was off for a walk around the track to investigate the reserve
Many thanx to Beckgiz & Gnome5580 for yet another in the series

Initially looked in the wrong place, coordinates are a bit misleading. Quick find though!
After picking up some chairs for mum, I continued down the peninsula to do some maintenance on a couple of my caches. Afterwards, on my way home, I stopped for a few more find. Nice quick find.
My thanks to Beckgiz & Gnome5580 for the cache.

Finally, a day organised just for caching with day1976, originally had been planning Narbethong unloved but the constant rain would have been awful for bush bashing and for my little 4wd.
So picked a different direction, which the weather forecast said no rain, and the rain tapered off as we arrived.
After doing a series of caches that took 4hrs and 15km of walking, some drive bys were necessary.

I surprised myself by finding this one. Usually a nemesis type cache for me these ones.
At the wrong tree then a nice quick find.️ lots of mugglers about on this sunny day
I have found a few caches in Somers and today I returned to collect a couple from the series A dog's tale .. I am enjoying this series and still have a few more to find. This one was a familiar hide and an easy find. Be carful when retrieving as the ring on the cache is overstretched and a bit fragile. Thanks Beckgiz and Gnome5580 for placing the cache
Nice to meet the co here while I was looking for this cache they where doing a maintenance check while I was deciding which tree search signed and replaced...TFTC beckgiz
Went to check on this today after a DNF and a few sketchy accounts of where the Cache might be and ran into Kashbound while we were checking! Nice to meet a different cacher here and we were able to see that while the gps may be out by a metre or so (it does jump around a bit here!) The Cache is still most definitely still there and ready for the next finder! Happy hunting! ??
Found while out on a cache run through the area. Unfortunately our pen ran out.

It was nice to visit this park again. I remember wandering around here at night many moons ago.
The cache was found dangling in its correct position. Unfortunately however, the screw top (or is that bottom) was missing. Luckily we were able to find it after a search on the ground and it was returned to its rightful position.
Thanks Beckgiz & Gnome5580 for yet another of these dog tails.
Chiefton!!!

Quick scan at GZ. We found string and a label in a tree near the path - is this the remains of the cache?
Looked for Dog’s Tail today. We found string and a torn label in a tree beside the path - is this the remains of the cache or were we in the wrong spot?
Found this one today with the Grandkids. We all had fun finding it a nice little reserve/ dog free area. Tftc
Well, as my [FTF] hounding has evolved, I clearly haven't evolved with it.
Despite having secured first dibs on a multi in Rye of all places earlier in the month, Somers still isn't in my notification radius and it was only following a frantic message from buhfuhguh that I was made aware of the two new offerings down this way.
The madman was still on the other side of the West Gate Bridge but was determined to reach these before anyone else nevertheless.
I never ended up getting around to doing the night cache in this reserve before its archival, though the trad nearby was dealt with many moons ago.
We parked pretty much as close as we could to gz and headed on over to the likely spot.
Sure enough, a familiar container was spotted hanging in the breeze and the logbook within was marked with our names right at the top.
Thanks to Beckgiz, Gnome5580, Ebony, and Calypso for placing this one here!

Joint [FTF] with Brain @1:30pm
Today, well this morning was not a good morning, with the planned last day of work being yesterday. Which was swiftly changed when a client decided to postpone due to some pesky bank shenanigans.... good to see they learnt nothing from the Royal Commission.
Regardless driving back from Williams Landing I noticed that two new caches popped up nearby home. Doing the FTF hound math in my head I felt confident I would be able to get down to this corner of the world with a strong chance of finding the alluring empty log book.
So with this feeling of confidence I decieded why not pick up [@Brain](http://coord.info/PRD1CBH) for a trip down.
With that being said was a quick and easy find to an area I am familiar with having grown up in the area. Regardless thanks for the cache and another empty logbook.
