Find #1790A quick find today but getting our names on the log was different. After talking to Banj about teaching us how to do these climbs today was the day for me and Shane to learn. After setting up and learning how to set up we got up and put our names on the log. Huge thank you to Banj for letting us use his equipment. First cache of the day done. Favourite point from me Log and cache in good condition TFTC

WOW. What a day . Out doing some caching today with Banj5150 and Deni_f targeting caches with high D/T ratings with banj showing us the ropes for a TTC. A few stumbles with the sling shot at first, but all worked out in the end . A big thx to banj for his effort in this cache. Aday I'll remember. TFTC TEAM737 .

I tagged along with the CO as he was bringing the ropes back to this tree, and yet again made the climb, and signed the log.I happened to be present when the CO hid the cache, but I went up before the cache was in place.TFTC and the use of your gear

**This Cache:**My second ever TTC and my first for a published cache, wooohooo Big GrinThis was just incredible! One of the best experiences and so grateful for Team737 for providing me the tools and training to get up to this cache! So much fun, especially with all the high-tech gear! Everything was carefully set-up and it was my turn to ascend! Got into all the harness and gear, did some safety checks, and even got a lesson on how to swap out the ascender for the descender whilst dangling, so that I could do it purely by myself without a helping hand below! Using a foot loop and the ascender, I heaved myself up the rope and towards the cache. Quickly arrived and was able to sign the log and replace whilst dangling mid-air before I did the changeover for the descender. This all went very smoothly thanks to the practice I had at ground level first, and I zipped back down the rope to terra firma! Success!Just incredible, thank you again, FAVOURITE! TFTC Team737---**Today:**Visiting Newcastle this weekend to tackle a wide variety of physically challenging and creatively crafted Team737 hides! Big Grin Huge thanks Team737 for inviting myself and GHHH and showing us the "ropes", quite literally, of Technical Tree Climbing and Abseiling! One of the best caching weekends I have had and will always be a highlight memory! The expertise and gear you guys have is just incredible and I was so honoured to learn these new skills from you! Appreciate your kindness, patience and company during this adventure packed weekend! Until next time..!

We came up for some climbing today, and checked the cache. All in great condition. One online log has been deleted as no matching physical log was noted, and no response to my message. This is a tree climb cache - as with any cache, you are required to sign the log to claim a find.

My first TTC!!! Thanks so much to the 737s for teaching me how to climb and letting me use the gear! Climbing is really fun, but it’s taxing! Quite tough. A great time!!! Very good container and log dry. TFTC A big Fav.

Spent a day up around the Newcastle suburbs today. A beautiful sunny day to be caching. Interestingly I often report a number of DNFs whenever I cache up here; today it was five. I usually put it down to being late to the party as many of these caches have been on lists for years and have been long found by everyone already. Today though it was a particularly frustrating day with the GPS refusing to settle at most caches - a particular issue at one or two of those five.

Wasn't an issue here though as the cache was quickly spotted; it was just a matter of getting my hands on it now! A few novo TOTT trade secrets applied here and I was soon signing the log. I can confirm the cache is at a height of 8.5m. It's a long way down! That was a great way to start the day's caching. TFTC, Team737.

This was the first time I had done a tree climb like this. Went with my dad the Garbageman, sister Classic Cache and Team737.I went up first to retrieve the container and CC brought it back up. Had fun on the first but I didn’t know we were going to another one. We enjoyed this so much we went up a second time for fun. I wish there were more caches like this! This definitely desevers a FP from me! ️TNLN TFTC

A definite FP from me!

Again this was such a great experience and I couldn't be more grateful. I had so much fun going up and down, (even though it was my first time ever) when I got told we were going to do another one I was jumping up and down. Thank you so much!

After completing much of the remainder of this series yesterday we were left with ‘only’ the two technical tree climbs to go.

We were very graciously offered some lessons and support and with Sneaky Ninja Girl and Classic Cache we got to have a wonderful day out. The photos from today will be treasured memories for the girls for some time to come I think. Stoked at how well they picked up the technique!

The wind and the cold was an added factor today - bet it was way warmer for Big Matt!

The tree itself is quite a structure - not hard to see where the name came from! Skewered indeed.

A definite FP on many levels. Thank you so much!

This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 12110.

Woohoo, a [FTF] to boot! I’m still very much a beginner at tree climbing and not great with heights so this was the best kind of tree climb! You can get a good throw, I think it only took me 3 throws. It’s a nice easy climb not having to dodge any branches, I had a ball! And the joy of a blank log just topped it off.

Thanks lee737 for the cache.
