Find 5 of 33 on our last day in Augusta for WAGB. We almost cleared the map with a walk above the inlet, a drive out to Cape Leeuwin and a bike ride around Augusta township, before driving out to make a start on the Holland Track. An excellent day to round off WAGB, so thanks to all the COs for their efforts in creating, placing and maintaining these caches.Missed this one on the bikes the other day, with it being a dead end. Came back today for a quick find.

My first time at WAGB. This is the second day in Augusta and way back to Perth in the afternoon. I had 30+ found with 1 event, 1 multi and 2 AdLab. Thanks to all the people who placed the cache and arranged the events. It was cloudy at the beginning and started raining when I was geocaching around the town. Luckily, the rain stopped when I was approaching the lighthouse. It is not easy to find the traditional, multi and ADlab at the same time. Sadly, I forgot to do the final point to the mulit.

The geocaching plan for today for Taurus Six and I was up for discussion and debate during the week. Which direction would we go in on Saturday . We weighed up a few options and kind of agreed on a plan of action until on Friday we noted many more Pood new caches had come out in the Augusta area. We further noted they were still not found on Friday evening so we decided to set off this way early Saturday morning to try our luck. It was a beautiful drive down from Bunbury , the sun coming up and the dew steam rising from the paddocks. There were also lots of Kangaroos around which was a bonus . With the traffic light on the road we made it down to the back roads of Augusta in no time at all . Firstly we tackled the new trail at Walls Road - Back Tracks To Number 17 , this was an excellent dirt track and no muggles anywhere to be seen . The only noises of the morning were from farm animals and birds, what a lovely area . Then it was onto the Coastal Track series , down Scotts River road and onto the Milyeannup Coast Road , what a magnificent area this is , once again the bird life was prolific and a very peaceful morning , muggle free. We then headed in Augusta for one more first to find, we also converted a couple of previous dnfs and collected the Adventure Lab and a few other random caches before heading back to Bunbury via Margaret River and Cowramarup . All in all it was a wonderful day of geocaching . It was good to convert this previous blue frown (only due to muggles) into a happy yellow smiley in this beautiful area with a great view. Thanks for the cache Pood .

Good to be out and about and hot on the Antartica trail.. Still a little unsure about the name but a nice little drive out . Found the cache quickly with spot on coordinates and a good old fashioned "yes thats where it will be moment" There's a beautiful little jetty and a picnic table to rest.. Met up with an elderly gentleman and his dog out for a walk.. all in all a great pace to find a cache.. Once again, thankyou to the C o for getting us out here and off the beaten track

Spending some time around Busso and MR visiting our son and grabbing a few finds along the way. We had loaded the available caches onto our Garmin a couple of days ago, so it was a fortunate check of the geocaching app on our iPhone that we noticed a couple of very recently published caches in Augusta also on the map. Made the find, recorded our visit and went on our way. Thanks pood.

TaurusSix and I have started our Easter holiday a day early, making Thurs our first official Easter holiday day. We are heading to Pemberton and basing ourselves there for four nights while we explore the region and everything it has to offer and of course fitting in as much geocaching as practical along the way, whilst still doing lots of other things too. We love the autumn weather and there is always something special about an Easter get away.

Day five, the last day of our wonderful Easter trip. The main focus today was to meander our way back to Bunbury , exploring and geocaching along the way, of course. Firstly though we had one more geocache to collect in Pemberton at the Cascades, we were there nice and early , so totally muggle free , we collected the cache and undertook the Cascades circuit walk. A great start to the day . We then took the long route heading to Augusta first , beautiful drive but unfortunately not many caches along the way . There were plenty in Augusta though and our aim was to get as many as practical before the inclement weather turned into a downpour. Easter travellers were leaving town , the school holiday tourist were still plenty though. We made our way around the coast collecting the caches which had been placed since the last time we visited . We then collected an old cache that had been a previous dnf around the cape from the lighthouse and it was there that the heavens open and the stormy weather set in for the day. So we decided it was a good time to head home to Bunbury . It rained heavily all the way home.

Alas there were muggle fisher people right at gz having a bbq lunch , we wandered near by for a while but realised we would need to come back another day.
