My first time at WAGB. This is the second day in Augusta and way back to Perth in the afternoon. I had 30+ found with 1 event, 1 multi and 2 AdLab. Thanks to all the people who placed the cache and arranged the events. It was cloudy at the beginning and started raining when I was geocaching around the town. Luckily, the rain stopped when I was approaching the lighthouse. It is not easy to find the traditional, multi and ADlab at the same time. Sadly, I forgot to do the final point to the mulit.

Hi there pood. Today is Day 3 of our 2nd Augusta trip and we decided to keep our geocaching around Augusta today. Find 29 of 50 on a busy day at WAGB 2024. First we rode the 21km Skippy Rock Road loop from the lighthouse and back, via The Colourpatch for fuelling, then drove for the afternoon's caches along the Cape To Cape track and on the bush tracks near the airport. The weather held out for us and we found some quality caches along the way, so thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining them.Lots of spots to stuff this one but found it quickly thanks to good coords. Love the lush grassy tracks for riding here.TFTC pood!

After a VERY early morning event I set off for day 3 of my Augusta trip. Grabbing caches along the way. Many thanks pood for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures. Apologies for the generic logs.
After a big trip over the top end of AU with lots of side detours. Am now caching around the south west of WA for a while before heading back east again.TFTC. Down to Augusta for a couple of pre WA Goes Big events and a side of other caches. An excellent view spot.
Found at 1:46 PM GAFF3.Followed the trail that other cachers have made and where the GPSr pointed to, but nothing there. So walked back and fluked the spot where the cache was hidden - another tough hide for the rating given.btw - what are wood distillation products? Thanks to pood
Found it. TFTC pood. Spent the weekend in and around Augusta and teamed up with papillion367, ullyssia and meme28. Logs were signed as PUMPP. The weather was not good but the team was great. Most were found in reasonable time but there were a few that proved to be a bit more difficult . All were replaced as found.
Thank you for the cache pood. Teamed up with ullyssia, meme28 and Photo-Play for a trip to Augusta over the long weekend. We were going to start the Blackwood River series but our boat hire was cancelled due to the poor weather, so we cached on land instead. Signed the logs PUMPP. This was a quick find.
We started early while the town was waking up. This spot was absolutely gorgeous and the cache was found with no issues. CheersOur South trip started joining Ullyssia Papillon367 and Photo Play. Caches are signed as PUMP.
Thank you!Teamed up with papillon367, meme28 and Photo-Play for a caching weekend in Augusta. The weather meant our boating plans were cancelled, but we had a great day finding as many caches around town and the cape as we could. Caches signed as PUMPP or ullyssia.Happy to make the find here.
After an overcast and drizzly morning it has developed into a lovely day, sun shining but not hot. Last cache for the day and this trip. Happy to turn a frown into a smiley. Thanks pood
The Campbell Crew stopped by for a quick visit with the Taylors. Great little find
Had mentoring for awhile. I must be blind. Thanks for taking me out to get my mind off a few things.
Great to see these caches come up since our last visit to this lovely little town.. was a little worried about this one as there are a few of those slithery things around. Once we parked up and started the short trek in we needn't have been too concerned.. the track in had been freshly mowed and was nice and clear.. it's a lovely little spot to sit and check out the view but with work to be done we set about looking for the prize.. After about ten minutes and some stick prodding, I sat down and re read the hint.. A very good hint it is and within a few seconds the cache was in hand.. No need to go bush at all Log signed, pic taken, trackables dipped and off we go... Thanks to CO "Pood" for getting us out here to yet another gorgeous view...
A nice quick find in a beautiful location. Thanks for the interesting history lesson which is of particular interest to geohubby who grew up in Wundowie and whose parents worked in the plant. TFTC
Spending some time around Busso and MR visiting our son and grabbing a few finds along the way. We had loaded the available caches onto our Garmin a couple of days ago, so it was a fortunate check of the geocaching app on our iPhone that we noticed a couple of very recently published caches in Augusta also on the map. Unfortunately, we had no joy here and we wouldn't want to be searching in this location in the warmer weather. Thanks pood.
Found on an overcast and windy day in Augusta.
Managed a quick find here.
TFTC pood this is find #15100 for us.

TaurusSix and I have started our Easter holiday a day early, making Thurs our first official Easter holiday day. We are heading to Pemberton and basing ourselves there for four nights while we explore the region and everything it has to offer and of course fitting in as much geocaching as practical along the way, whilst still doing lots of other things too. We love the autumn weather and there is always something special about an Easter get away.

Day five, the last day of our wonderful Easter trip. The main focus today was to meander our way back to Bunbury , exploring and geocaching along the way, of course. Firstly though we had one more geocache to collect in Pemberton at the Cascades, we were there nice and early , so totally muggle free , we collected the cache and undertook the Cascades circuit walk. A great start to the day . We then took the long route heading to Augusta first , beautiful drive but unfortunately not many caches along the way . There were plenty in Augusta though and our aim was to get as many as practical before the inclement weather turned into a downpour. Easter travellers were leaving town , the school holiday tourist were still plenty though. We made our way around the coast collecting the caches which had been placed since the last time we visited . We then collected an old cache that had been a previous dnf around the cape from the lighthouse and it was there that the heavens open and the stormy weather set in for the day. So we decided it was a good time to head home to Bunbury . It rained heavily all the way home.

This was our sixth cache find of the day along with the near by Adventure Lab. Great view from gz. We could see the storm brewing in the distance which didn’t take long to come to fruition. Ache quickly spotted, logged and replaced. Thanks for the cache Pood .
