Logs

13-Oct-24
Out for a drive to pick up a few caches closer to home. Have kept my eyes on this one, watching for a logsheet to be re-added. Last time I was here I found the cache but with nothing inside. This time, after waiting for muggles to leave, I swooped in and signed the blank logsheet. Thanks Jforr51!

Checked on the cache this morning. Logbook has been replaced. This is a very busy area, please be mindful of other eyes when searching and return exactly as found.

11:44:00 AM. Plenty of parking and a short walk. Cache was an easy find thank goodness as it was getting hot. Emptied the water out of one container and found the dry log. Signed and returned as found. Thanks for the cache Jforr51.

I drove here the morning after this cache was published. Heading to GZ (using the published coords), I spent a while looking around for the cache, and considering that the cache description mentioned magnets, I assumed I was in the right spot. I have done one of the CO's caches so I wasn't expecting a stock-standard cache. I looked nearby at another place that could utilise magnets, but still nothing. Contacted the CO, but had to get back to work, so I departed.

Then I got the notification that the cache had been found by someone a lot more experienced than me. Fast forward to today, and I was in the vicinity, so decided that I needed to try again. Armed with my fork, I went to the amended coords and had a look but nothing was obvious but keep looking. There it was! I didn't really need a fork. My geocaching toolkit had an implement that would have assisted. Now I have 4 shiny new forks . FP for sneakiness here Jforr51. TFTC

Remembered to take a fork from the kitchen draw before setting off to find the cache. Arrived at GZ for a very quick find, coords where spot on for me. Not sure what the fork was for as cache was easily accessed. Fun hide and the sun was shining. TFTC Jforr51 Smile

Had a good look in the wee hours of the morning.
Really thought a small magnetic container would be easy to find but not the case.

A new area for us to discover today with lovely houses but very close living. We parked in the circuit close to GZ and searched for a while before widening our search area a little and ignoring the description. Something was spotted which we investigated and sure enough there was the log which we signed and replaced as found. There was a signature on the log dated 1/1/2023 and as the cache was only published today I think we probably are the FTF. Thanks Jforr51 for the cache.
