Due to the weather we have changed location to the Town Hall - the same location as last nights dinner event. See everyone soon.
Please accept our apologies, hollowfrog & I won't be at breakfast. As towing a van is not our forte & weather is against us, we wanted enough time for a slow & steady trip home. Thanks again for a great WAGB23

It is the fourth and final day of WAGB 2023, alas a wonderful long weekend must come to an end. TaurusSix and I will make our way back to Bunbury via cleaning up outstanding caches around the Narrogin township and then making our way back through to Williams , timing it perfectly for lunch at the Williams Wool Shed. Firstly though we will be attending the final event of WAGB 2023 and breakfast of course. Actually today is a day when the inclement weather will dictate how many caches we collect and what type of caches we collect. After heavy overnight rain and rain predicted for the day it’s not looking too promising however no such thing as bad weather just inappropriate clothing.

Final morning of a great series of events. Thanks to the committee, volunteers and CO's.
Egg and bacon roll!! Perfect end to a fantastic weekend. I've really had a great time. Thanks to all involved in the organisation of the event and to all those that gave their time. Roll on next year....
Great to catch up with friends again for the last time on this WA Day weekend. Breakfast was a hoot followed by heading back to get the caravan in road order (took about 3 hours with the rain) and then the horrid drive back to Perth.
We drove through a storm on the way back with trees bending heavily in the wind and some very heavy rain. We arrived safely and I managed to reverse the caravan into the carport quite easily this time.
Thanks go to all on the WAGB committee for their efforts in producing the best event ever.

Down came the rain….
We have been blessed with great weather until last night and it was time to head indoors for the dinner etc.
Thanks to Shire of Narrogin we are out of the rain for breakfast as well!
Thanks for organizing - just fueled us up to complete all of the adventure labs except the ones in the bush - managed to get wet enough just wandering around town

Sitting at home in Victoria about 2 - 3 weeks ago and I noticed an article about WAGB.
I had heard of it before and checked out the dates for it and thought to myself that that is do able for me.
Airfares and car rental booked then posted my will attend.
I then worked out some accommodation and here I am for my first WAGB weekend.
Well the weekend is over and after packing up the motel room then fueling up the rent a car it was back to the hall for breaky as the location had been changed due to a slight shower or more over night.
Had some breakfast then it was back to Perth airport to catch an afternoon fight back to Melbourne.
Thanks again to West Oz Geocaching for the great weekend and I will tell everyone back home that they will need to attend this event at least once.
Let’s see what happens next year.
Thanks West OZ Geocaching TFTE.

Tfte sorry we had to leave in such a hurry as it was it rained most of thecway home and we got the caravan under cover just before a huge thunder storm errupted. So got hone to the floor of the caravan sopping wet.
Thanks to the committee for quickly altering the outdoor brekky to inside the Hall, out of the inclement weather.
The bacon and egg rolls were exactly what was required for sustenance for the very long journey ahead of me.
Lovely to catch up for one last time with all the geocachers who made my stay here such a happy one, especially Chloe for driving me down from Freo, Boyzrule5 for being my chauffeur and companion for two full days of caching adventures, various others who ferried me from my accommodation to events and back again, and Posums who drove me back to Willagee, before flying to Melbourne at midnight, to be met by another cacher and driven 499k next morning to Millicent to begin my next adventure.
A huge thankyou to all involved in any way in the planning, organising, and accomplishing a very successful WA Goes Big 2023.

So... we're travelling around this amazing country and decided to see if there were any events coming up in Western Australia. Looks like there is a few only 500km away and starting in 6 hours... lets go!
