Nope, that one we could't find This was supposted to be our very first found south of Equator - and then we could not find itWe carefully inspected an item at GZ which fits the hint description
My first Wherigo- cool idea! Quick find at GZ, just being careful of lunch time muggles. Thank you!
Found with fitzy_1965 whilst in Sydney for a work awards night overnight. This morning, we decided to do some caching whilst we put a bit of charge back in the car. It was nice to wander around the City (even in the sporadic drizzle) and visiting places I hadn't been for a good number of years.
Found with minniek during a weekend visit to Sydney.minniek and I are attending a Non-Geocaching Event (a what??) in Sydney this weekend, and we of course grabbed a few caches along the way for International Geocaching Day. After checking out of our hotel this morning and plugging in the car, we wandered around for a few hours cherry picking a few caches. Once we got back to the car - after some yummy lunch in Chinatown - we headed off home via a few more of the rarer cache types to fill in todays date. This Wherigo was perfect for that, and it was nice to do yet another of Freddo's U2BaCM caches. No problem with the Wherigo, and we were soon at GZ for a neat quick find. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one. Thanks Freddo !!
A few geofinds before work. Came into the city to finish off an AL set. And Im awarding a Favourite Point to this Wherigo cache simply because its simplified. Minimal fuss. Have to admit that Wherigo is my less favourite type of geocaching. TFTC Freddo
Greetings from WalesAfter visiting the Eye at the Sky Tower we had lunch and then whilst the Boss and rest of the tribe decided to go shopping I was allowed to go caching for the afternoon.I like a Whereigo so pleased to do one here in Sydney. All worked well and cache easily found in this nice location. Thanks for placing this all-too-rare cache type.
TFTC! This is my first time experiencing Wherigo cachekinda like Adventure lab with cache at the endneat!
Having had a bus ride out into the suburbs to find my main target for today, I caught a bus back into the city & then a tram to Surry Hills.I had no problems working through this straightforward *Wherigo* cartridge & soon had the final coordinates. As the metres counted down, I recognised a now familiar hiding place & the cache was quickly in hand. All was well so I soon had the formalities completed.Found at 12:49Cache #10325TFTC Freddo the Non Believer and The Pagan Dog
I'm having an amazing time visiting da Bush Girl Downunder and sightseeing some new spots with da Bush Family. Last time I was in Australia was some 13+ years ago and I still love it here. It was only my final visit all those years ago that I became a Geocacher, so I had so many caches to find now I didn't know of! I only have limited time, so I picked a few good ones to target TFTC
#20651 - 11:43:35 AM; A quick overnight trip to Sydney and a chance to collect some of the newer caches around the city, which have appeared since my last visit. After leaving the geohoney at the QVB, I jumped a tram and headed south for this cache. Not far from the tram stop as it turned out and I soon had another in this series under my belt. No problems downloading thre cartridge and after a short stroll to GZ from the old church, the cache was soon in hand and the log signed. TFTC Freddo
Never done a Wherigo before, and I found the app confusing. But I managed to get the coordinates somehow. Had to hang around GZ for a while as people were sitting nearby, but got there in the end. TFTC
Greeting from beautiful British Columbia, Canada!!Off on another great adventure. We are starting in Australia and ending up in Tahiti caching along the way. Signed the log books with SPCA24Thanks to all of the COs for placing these caches for us to find and for adding to our fun day. Answers for virtual and earth caches will be sent by a member of our group
I'm out caching on this beautiful day while visiting your country. I am visiting from Rhode Island and traveling with a group of cachers from USA and Canada. We will be traveling to Brisbane, Sydney, and embarking on an NCL cruise to the South Pacific. Logs will be signed with our names or group name to saveroom on logs. SPCA24. Thank you to the COs who hide and maintain these caches. Everything below this line is for Project-GC log numbers. ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** I will be attending any nearby events to meet up with local cachers. I will be targeting gadget caches, which are always a fun challenge. Older caches and Virtuals aren't to be missed. Solved puzzles that I've spent many snowy days working on. Earthcaches are always worth the lessons learned. Challenge caches are some of my favorites even if I don't qualify yet... something to work towards. Webcams before they all disappear. High favorites are always worth the fun. Adventure Labs point out things I would usually just drive by without the work a CO puts into them. New counties, whenever possible, for some of those challenges I've already signed. Let's not forget towns for MA351 whenever in the area. I'm always on the lookout for large sized containers and caches for my Fizzy and Jasmer grids. Logs will be stamped with our caching names or initials to save room on logs. I don't always stamp in order, I will fill in spaces if there are any on the log. If answers are required, one of us will send them when we get home. Thank you to all of the COs for the time and dedication of hiding and maintaining these Geocaches for everyone to find! ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **

Second day in Australia ??. This is my first visit to this extraordinary continent and the fulfillment of a long-cherished dream. In the past, it always failed due to the lack of a travel companion. Now I had the chance to join a large group of mainly German geocachers and I was delighted to take it. I wanted to find this type of cache for Australia and this one seemed playable for a tourist. That's exactly how it was ??. I also had no problems at the final. The clue made it immediately clear where to look and I spotted the box straight away. One grab and I was able to sign the logbook.Thank you for laying & taking care .Zweiter Tag in Australien ??.
Danke fr diesen Geocache. Danke fr die Ausarbeitung. Danke frs Zeigen.Lieber Gru aus Duisburg / DeutschlandAndyDieser Logeintrag wird mit Hilfe von Google bersetzt.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________We set off on a long journey with 37 geocachers from Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Three weeks to Australia and New Zealand, starting with a stopover in Doha, Qatar. I have never been so long and so far away from home. An exciting time. When geocaching, the focus was on many different cache types, but also special ratings, challenges and especially a few very old caches from the years 2000 and 2001. But also, of course, especially the geocaches that were easily accessible on foot from the hotel.Of course, the focus wasn't just on geocaching; the sights of the individual stations we visited also deserved attention. We entered our team name Downunder 2024 in the logbooks, saving logbook space and efficiently. It was a very special trip in a large team, which was also a lot of fun.Today we visited the areas around Sydney.Due to the large number of caches, there is usually only one standard log, for which I would like to apologize to the different owners. Thanks for this geocache. Thanks for the elaboration. Thank you for showing me.Kind regards from Duisburg / GermanyAndyThis log entry is translated with the help of Google.
We have traveled with 36 likeminded geocachers to Australia and New Zealand resulting in lots of opportunities for sightseeing and geocaching. The logbooks were mostly signed under the teamname "Team DownUnder24" and answers were sent to owners for the group, as appropriate. This has been a great trip with a multifold of new impressions and experiences.During our stay in Sydney we had also the opportunity to visit some caches. This cache was also among our finds today. Thanks for leading us here and showing and thanks for the cache.
Together with 37 Cachers, we start a journey to Australia and New Zealand via Doha.In Qatar we spent one night and had almost one full day before heading to Sydney. In Australia we visit the citys of Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Cairns. In New Zealand will be Aukland, Rotorua, Wellington, Blenheim, Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown. To safe Logbook space, we signed the logbooks with our team-name "DownUnder24".Our Teammembers are:\_gc_, AmoebeST, AndyausDu, B@cker-1, Biggidag, Brummelbren, CacheTaucher, cooljo, Fotopinguin, Freizeit-Tina, Gazelle5111, GEO Karen, GoanToni, Hfi1, hupsi-1, karrai*, Leilah03, lenny love, Lupus54, Maxipimpf, muschel3, Ollilein, Opaundenkel, penalty96, Rheins, Simowl, sozioma, Sr. Elli, Team Zyanor, viko76, Webmasterrollerin, Whlhase, XenSuoThank you for the Cache.
Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar ????.We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna. To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well. This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Many thanks to the event owners!Of course we would like to thank all the owners for showing us the great locations, the sometimes tricky puzzles, exciting multis and wherigos, as well as the interesting virtuals and earth caches - TFTC!!!---In der Besetzung KiSt unternahmen wir zusammen mit 36 weiteren Geocachern fr drei Wochen eine sehr weite Reise nach Australien ???? und Neuseeland ????.

# 21396Whau, I am on a three week trip with Cacher-Reisen and a bunch of fellow geocachers to Australia and New Zealand. It is so odd to imagine that I am going to visit a place that is nearly on the opposite of the globe from my usual hangouts. In Denmark it is late winter/early spring, and I am exchanging the winter-part for late summer in Australia and early autumn in New Zealand. This is so exciting. The itinerary is Frankfurt (Germany), Doha (Qatar), Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns (Australia) and Auckland, Rotorua, Wellington, Blenheim, Christchurch, Dunedin, Cromwell, Queenstown (New Zealand) before flying back to Europe. That will be two new continents and three new countries for me - and as far away from home as I have ever been. It is a lot of places and travelling, but we also have a plan to find lots of geocaches and see the sights and beautiful nature. After the mornings event a small group went in search of some old caches. I had three caches that fit well into my Jasmer calendar for the third and fourth loop. We used public transport in the beginning and at the end and Ubers in between the oldies. Nice and comfortable way to get around. After getting back to the city center I also wanted to find this wherigo. I have recently started programming wherigos myself, and I have asked the advice of Freddo, thank you. I of course wanted to see what he had come up with in this wherigo and how they have evolved through time. This is a very simple wherigo, but it worked fine, and now I also have this icon in Australia.Tak for cachen til Freddo.

Sat in the park waiting for a table to open up for breakfast when Sal asked is there a geocache nearby?. Well yes, yes there is. Thanks for this one. Quick solve and find.

(8141) My main reason for dragging my husband out after our trip to the Australian Museum was to find this cache. I signed a challenge eons ago requiring 7 caches types found for 12 consecutive months. The closest wherigo to my home is 38 miles. The closest virtual is 28 and earthcache is 33. Anyway, my point is that we need to take every opportunity to find the interesting ones when we're away, and I still needed a wherigo this month. It took me a while to load the cartridge, which is typical for me. I was surprised by the ease of it, but we then spent a lot of time at GZ. My coordinates were off by about 20 feet, but easily spotted once nearby. Thanks!
After doing the Wherigo last week , I approached GZ but there was a gardener watering and was standing exactly where I needed to be . Today arrived with a few muggles around but managed to grab the cache from its hide . Obvious but not obvious. TFTC Freddo

i've not done many whereigo geocaches.they're kinda somewhat of an anomaly on the geomap. so when i was exploring the hills of surrey i had to drop by here to see what the craick was.'puzzle' solved easily and then i strolled down for a quick find and sign of the log. probably took longer to fit the pencil back into the cache with the log than it took to find it. i'll attend a giff (geocaching international film festival) event later this afternoon, so i figured it was a good moment to find as many different cache types as possible.this makes number five for the day, after an opera house virtual, a rocks earthcache, an epic multi where i got a ticket of leave and an adventure lab final mystery about murder and mayhem in the colony.thanks freddo for offering up something different in suburban sydney.
Not so many Wherigo's available nowadays, so happy if a new one turns up. Was closeby for work today and able to squeeze this one in before going home.TFTC Wilbert67
A nice quick wherigo, we follow everlasting all the way and found it. Thanks for the fun.
Three nights in Sydney!Day TwoWeather: warm!Yet another new cache since my last visit, and awww, shucks, Im getting a little homesick now - this is like a piece of South Australia in the heart of Surry Hills. The first of many I hope, and my photo is of 80 Albion Street for your consideration. This one gave me no trouble at all, just like ones back home, and the cache itself was a sight for sore eyes too. Thanks to Freddo the Non Believer, and Pagan Dog, who Im hoping is a local who will run with this. Its officially a mega.GCA1DNA The Great Leap ForwardAdelaide, South Australia, February 29, 2024.Wed love to have your company.
After an unsuccessful attempt before, came back today whilst searching for other caches around Ultimo. A quick find now that the cache is there. TFTC
Sydney Day 6: Cockatoo Island - Ultimo - Surry Hills
The highlight of the day was to take the ferry over to Cockatoo Island to bring the partner around another one of the places I quite like in Sydney, followed by a second jaunt to the Fish Market so that she can have her lobster and I can have my oysters. After that, she was off to the Australian Museum while I made my way through Ultimo and Surry Hills to gather up a few more caches.
(end of the cut and paste bit)
Wherigos are rare, so you have gotta take them when you can find them. This one was a nice and simple one, though there was a bit of an issue with loading the images in the cartridge for me. I made a wise and educated guess for the question, and hit the jackpot on the first go. No Mind Tricks here, eh? Anyway, made the short walk to the cache and found it in the typical spot for a Sydney Park cache. TFTWIG!

Greetings from Ireland!
I always like to get one of each cache type when I visit a place and so this wherigo was quickly put on the list (mainly because it wasn't too far from the centre and also seemed relatively straightforward).
Thankfully at gz I make a quick find! Tftc!

I did this wherigo back in march and today I found myself at GZ, A find here and the cache is all good
Today being in Sydney with not a lot to do I decided to head over to Moore park and find a few caches around the area before heading into the city to find a few caches that were new. Nearly 20 find for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Started the cachingday with an old one and then back to the city again for a sunny cache walk and some sightseeing. Thank you for the cache!
I had a bit of WIG bugginess but it all worked out in the end. I changed my religion just in case that helped. TftWIGC.
A day off from work, no football matches today, so doing some geocaching while exploring the city.
Yes, I also found a wherigo in Australia that makes most of the regular types found here.
And so I also found Used 2B a Church Micro #0347 - Surry Hils and converted into a smiley.
Freddo the Non Believer and The Pagan Dog thanks for the cache. Greetings from the Netherlands

First Wherigo, got to GZ and saw a likely spot and yes there it was. I had getting the cache because it was jammed against the little bolt on the side eventually got it.
Racked up a few kilometres of walking around Sydney today. I was pleasantly surprised by my find/success rate, which can easily be attributed to clear and descriptive hints. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contribution to our recreational activity!
Nice simple offset. TFTC

Don’t get the chance to do too many wherigos so thanks for this one. No problems finding and solving it. TFTC.
Out on city excursion with PPE to cherry-pick a few fine finds. Last time, this spot was off-limits. PPE's fingers made quick work of it this time. Thanks Freddo the Non Believer and The Pagan Dog.
Out on a Friday afternoon excursion with BT to do some city fishing, this was on the way and was straightforward collection.

On my way to the Beer O'Clock Event in Botany I zig-zagged through Surry Hills and Randwick for a few caches.
This was a good, easy cache. TFTC

Some spare time before dinner and O wanted to find a whereigo. This was perfect. Nicely done and GZ straight forward.
Thanks to Freddo the Non Believer and The Pagan Dog for the fun and the adventure.

A nice quick wherigo on a late chilly afternoon. Had lunch nearby, then back on the light rail to Royal Randwick for the affordable art fair, returned for this wherigo and now on to catch a bit of vivid Sydney
Il not sure whether or not I answered the question correctly, but had the coords quickly. Short walk to the next stage for a swift find.
We were travelling by SLR, and I noticed that this was not far from one of the stops, so we hopped off. It was a bit busy at GZ, but a bit of surreptitious searching by StreetWalkerNZ soon had the cache in hand. TFTC.
