TFTC ian-and-penny your cache HansandLinda Visitor Series #9 ian-and-penny that we found today. Out on a mtce run. As we were close by we stopped for a pleasant walk in the park and made a quick find. All in good order with the cache. Returned as found.Find Count: 20603
After a DNF here last time, we noticed that it had been replaced - thanks for that. Made my way to GZonly to find myself on the wrong side of the creek, so a quick detour and soon had the cache in hand. TFTC ian-and-penny
We grabbed a late lunch in a nearby deli, and while my burger cooked, we had time to kill, so we drove up the road targeting this cache. We parked at the end of Russell Street, completely missing the suggested parking waypoint. We descended the slope, and followed the trail in this nice area. This led us to cross the bridge, to then make it a roundabout way to get to GZ via a pipe crossing, where a quick find was had. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Despite missing the parking waypoint, it came in handy by returning that way. Thanks [ian-and-penny](https://coord.info/PRKC4C) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------During this trip, I travelled with [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) (who was visiting from Adelaide, SA) and we visited Maryborough for an extended weekend.Friday was the drive north, which involved the full day with stops in Nambour, Eumundi, Pomona, Gympie, Tiaro, and Maryborough, and highlights included the *Evil* series and the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series. The weekend's two days prioritised the *Jolly Brolly Folly* (JBF) series and *Geocaching 101* series, with a Sunday afternoon trip to Utopia Falls. Finally, Monday's itinerary included a few last geocaches that were in town, and we then returned home via Beaver Rock, Maaroom, and Tin Can Bay.A fun and rewarding trip with great company and friends, and we were rewarded with good weather throughout our trip.Today, the day commenced with Maryborough 5 km parkrun in hot and humid conditions. Subsequently, I caught up with [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) in inner Maryborough for light sightseeing and a coffee, before then completing the *Jolly Brolly* series. It was then time for a few geocaches in western Maryborough, and then we circled from the north / via the airport to subsequently attend the [A Meet and Greet for the Southerners](https://coord.info/GCAF1AZ) event.
Met both parties to the cache later in the evening. No trouble here.Freddo traveled north from deep south to catch up with friendly Liz and Bruce and the RV Home base crew. David Wazza provided a sturdy vehicle and we traveled in style. We had good weather. Not to hot. Not to rainy. Lovely one day and perfect the next. The caches were found in a blur of Which Is Next and Where Are We Going Now. Some caches were harder to find than others. Some caches we could see from the car. Regardless all caches were found in the last place we looked.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. An early morning drive around finding some caches and this is one we found. All good here, log signed and replaced as found. A fav for the container. Thanks ian-and-penny.
We stayed couple of days in Maryborough to collect some of the previously not found caches and new ones.
We found this one and signed the log.

Alyce and I made a spontaneous trip to Maryborough and brought the 4 youngest along for the ride. Our goal for the day was to grab the Brolly that we solved recently, but we forgot to download the list and had no internet when we arrived, so we decided to head into town to clean up some caches instead.
It was an action packed day filled with adventures and fun times. The kiddies enjoyed the experience but grew tired towards the end of the day. All in all we all had a fantastic day exploring Maryborough at the surrounding areas.
Pheeew! Glad we found this one in the end because it sure was getting a little frustrating. It turns out the cache was literally looking at us the whole time and it’s a mystery how we missed it the first time around.
Thanks for bringing us here.

So with an upcoming event it Maryborough a plan was hatched to go along. After receiving a phone call asking me to come along, I was very happy to put my support behind this event to see its success. With Triple turmoil a plan was made, kids sorted, dog sorted, clothes sorted, fuel food drinks tick tick tick, ok let’s go. It was then a quick meet up and it was not long before we were on the road, Maryborough here we come.
After the event we set off to collect the 29 remaining caches and whatever we saw as we passed by. Then it was into town to race around and grab a few more special caches and some adventure labs. We were on a mission, as we wanted to be gone by 4 pm.
We signed the log and replaced all as found and then it was to the next one. Thanks for the cache.

After the event down at the weir this morning and finding the little log series caches and the 30 placed for today but not yet published except for one I was in the vicinity of this one. Parked close and after a shoprt walk down the trail and over the bridge and up a little hill then into some trees. Walked aound and around and eventually managed to located this well placec cache. Pity I did not look at the Adventure labs earlier as I had to come back over to this side of town for an answer. TFTC ian-and-penny.
I am out today with Ian of Ian & Penny as my chauffeur to collect some more Maryborough caches and do the new AL.

What a nice little surprise to see a green spot on the map as we were leaving the showgrounds for our return trip home. We were here yesterday as it turns out for a puzzle, so were familiar with the location.
Thank you ian-and-penny for the nice cache placement, luckily a quick find for us before we head to Tiaro
