SO clever. Had me stumped for a while. I was pleased that I walked ahead of Tagalong so I had time to think. Finally the penny dropped. A FP added to the many you have accumulated.THanks for the hunt jupiterpearl
A few days in and around Melbourne. As part of this we also visit Phillip Island. There is a lot to see and experience here. Many animals live here and so we visit bird parks, wildlife parks, koalas, penguins and seals.Walk nature trails into the bushland and enjoy the sea and the bay. We also find and log a few cans. Many thanks to the owner who looks after and maintains these cans and greetings from the Moorhelmi
Brilliant. No luck this morning, but afternoon and laid a hand on it very quickly. TFTC FP
When we noticed how many favourites this one had attracted, we decided to check it out. There is one more favourite now! Nice and quiet here this evening. It was the second interesting thing we noticed.TFTC
Today I caught up with a muggle friend and I was telling them all about caching and some of the clever hides Ive come across, so they joined me on my walk and bugger me, they actually found this cache! I may even be able to convert this muggle into a cacher or convince them to join me on my adventures A cool hide.TFTC jupiterpearlKeep smiling
Found while on our September Holiday to Phillip Island. This is a really beautiful spot to geocache. An enjoyable cache to find, quite bold and thankfully no one ease was around the lookout, thanks for hiding it.
Found with McAdies and jelly_bean14.We had a great time in Phillip Island and this was one of the geocaches found while there. Thanks for the hide.
Found with McAdies and Geo_Eddie.We were on a holiday to Phillip Island. It was so fun to find this geocache! Thanks for the hide!
Bit of cache creep. Have replaced where it should be ready for the next finder. Thanks for the favs
A little overnight getaway to the island left time for some caching before the trip home! Was the first time Ive found a cache like this and was very fun! Rain and wind must have kept all the muggles away today! TFTC!
Road trip yo Phillip Island to attend CITO and event with Skylizard. Needed a toilet stop on way. This cache very conveniently nearby. Clever hide. First cache for day. TFTC
Since we were already parked on the Cowes main street for some AdLabs, it seemed a shame not to walk over for an extra 3 caches. Really like the audacity of this one. Thanks from D & HA B-A
It was wild and windy and had us stumped but a very clever cache. With the crazy weather, no one around at Cowes Beach to spy out activity. TFTC
Thanks to carmlee1 for getting this little sucker, I was trying not to get blown away, well that's my story anyway
A great quick find. Who knows, is it or isn't it. Still sound and safe. Thanks for the creative cache.
Out for an adventure with snipsandco and RoamingHowie Love the social experiment! Today we had the whole lookout to ourselves to enjoy the incredible winter's afternoon sunshine. This cache was fun to find with RoamingHowie as a previous finder being amused by my attempts at items which i now realise were NOT the cache... sometimes it pays to read the description and attributes, haha! thankfully snipsandco was more on the ball.Hopefully the cache lives on for many more 'oblivious' lookers.
Clever hide perfectly camo'ed in the surrounds. There were many places to look and a couple of elevations to try. We found it from one elevation but I wonder if it would have been easier from the other. I'll never know as it is now found. Thanks jupiterpearl
#816Visiting the island for the weekend. Saw the high number of FPs, so came to find the cache. Noticed something out of place. Found the clever hide. TFTC!
On a trip dow Melbourne from Yeppoon, QLD. Were on the island for the afternoon and had some time to kill before our tour moved on so we wandered down. We could really only look for about 10 minutes before we had to go back plus there was a few other people around. We saw something suspicious but couldnt check it out properly so we had to move on.
A quick, flukey find. Happened to be in just the right spot when we were curious about something we spotted, gave it a poke and couldnt believe our eyes! We could have easily spent ages looking for this one, very well disguised and super cool cache, tftf!
Very clever hide, took us a little while to find it, but once we did, we were glad we were persistent. Thanks for the cache.
Visiting Phillip Island for the day, we noticed the high FPs on this one and came to check it out. Well it didn't disappoint! The only thing was that I had to use the conveniences located close-by, and when I came out JonnyGoldcoast had a huge grin on his face. Which means he'd already found it. Damn. But I wasn't mad; I thought this hide genius, clever and a little bit sneaky. Everything I enjoy in a (in-your-face) hide. In fact we both voted it to be COTD (cache of the day). Let me add to that FP tally, jupiterpearl. Well played ??
I stopped for a quick toilet break and when I got out supermansez had already found it great camo
Very clever hide. We knew this type of hide from other ones weve done. Its nice and quiet this Monday evening not a muggle in sight.
Sydney to Melbourne Meander. Day Seven: Day trip to Phillip Island. Weather: Another perfect geocaching day.The walk along the waterfront continues, a perfect afternoon for it and yet hardly anyone about. An out of the ordinary hide here. Age might be starting to work against it a little. Thanks for this creative hide jupiterpearl.
Never done one of these before, glad to tick it off my list now! Was raining while trying to log but tried to dry as much as I could before placing the log and Camouflage backTftc
An early morning stroll around Cowes and not a muggle in sight until after Grub62 had found the cache and was signing the logbook. Then out of nowhere 2 showed up and we had to wait to replace it. Thanks for the entertainment and TFTC.
After grabbing a hot drink bunadoorian and I came for a walk around Cowes. This was the second cache find for today. I made the find. This was a sneaky hide but hidden in plain sight. Once signed we had to wait for a couple of muggles to leave the area so I could put the cache back correctly. Thank you for bringing us here and for placing a cache for us to find - jupiterpearl.
Ive seen this style before, so it was immediately obvious, and thankfully low traffic so it was a quick grab. Snozzidy kept lookout and photographed me from below as I posed. So brazen! Tftc
Very sneaky indeed, very well done. Fav point from us. Visiting on cruise ship for today TFTC
Good hide. We went straight to it, and investigated it. But didn't think it was it and moved on. Son went back after 10 minutes and had another look and pulled it straight off
Find 3273Very clever hide indeed.Took a little while to find this one.In the end I just stood back .Log signed and all back safe again. Thanks
Love this one! Worthy of a favourite point. When we arrived, we had an initial sinking feeling - up/down, where to start searching. But then one of our team found GZ in about 30sec. Lucky we had found this type of hide before.Log is damp. Thanks for much for placing this here, a fun hide and worthy of a favourite point!
We just did mini golf at amaze n things and zipped into cowes for this because it had so many favourite points! Didnt disappoint! Under/over/up/down so many places to investigate! I think ezderx might be addicted now! Also here with geokid FairyDust01 Thanks for the awesome cache
Found this with Cached up Mum Jules and our geokids.. clever hide. Great day on the beach. Log was way to wet to sign.
Very audacious indeed!Busy busy but everyone so busy they didnt notice me. Sometimes pays to be a middle aged woman!Tftc jupiterpearlRegardskbucky fave point as very ingenious.maintenance note - log more than a little wet and would be better with RITR paper
Brilliant! Hidden in plain sight. Logbook too wet to sign due to recent rain. TFTC
Oh, very good. Never seen anything like this before. Easy spot and easy sign because very few muggles along the path at this time of day. Safely returned without anyone seeing. Have a favourite point when I get on the web site later. TFTC from the UK.
We timed our search for this cache perfectly. Not a muggle in sight, which meant we could search in peace. After eliminating the obvious, there was only one thing left to check.Excellent hide jupiterpeal. It really does fit into the environment.
We are also part of the large tour group from Germany and passed this cache today. We are from Ismaning/Bavaria. We had a great time in Melbourne. 6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.Today, we visite th South of Melbourne and th Philips island. We Can see koala, Walibi and penguin. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful spots
Danke fr diesen Geocache. Danke fr die Ausarbeitung. Danke frs Zeigen.Lieber Gru aus Duisburg / DeutschlandAndyDieser Logeintrag wird mit Hilfe von Google bersetzt.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________We set off on a long journey with 37 geocachers from Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Three weeks to Australia and New Zealand, starting with a stopover in Doha, Qatar. I have never been so long and so far away from home. An exciting time. When geocaching, the focus was on many different cache types, but also special ratings, challenges and especially a few very old caches from the years 2000 and 2001. But also, of course, especially the geocaches that were easily accessible on foot from the hotel.Of course, the focus wasn't just on geocaching; the sights of the individual stations we visited also deserved attention. We entered our team name Downunder 2024 in the logbooks, saving logbook space and efficiently. It was a very special trip in a large team, which was also a lot of fun.Today we went on nice excursions around the Melbourne area.Due to the large number of caches, there is usually only one standard log, for which I would like to apologize to the different owners. Thanks for this geocache. Thanks for the elaboration. Thank you for showing me.Kind regards from Duisburg / GermanyAndy
Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar ????.We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna. To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well. This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Many thanks to the event owners!Of course we would like to thank all the owners for showing us the great locations, the sometimes tricky puzzles, exciting multis and wherigos, as well as the interesting virtuals and earth caches - TFTC!!!---In der Besetzung KiSt unternahmen wir zusammen mit 36 weiteren Geocachern fr drei Wochen eine sehr weite Reise nach Australien ???? und Neuseeland ????.
