Found after a bit of groping around

A milestone birthday for MrTG last month & the family booked a short labour weekend family getaway in Hokitika. It just happened to coincide with a monumental Spring weather event over the weekend. With Arthurs Pass shut with snow, we had to head north out of Christchurch and through the Lewis Pass to loop back around and down to Hokitika......in torrential rain. Fun driving, not much stopping!Heading back to Christchurch today (through Arthurs pass which is open again - yay) but time enough this morning for a early morning adventure with MrsTG whilst we let the boys have a sleep in....Quick park and grab - being careful not to bog out in the saturated verge!

Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 2 of our Matariki 2024 West Coast trip. Today we are doing a day trip from Greymouth down to Hokitika and Ross. The weather forecast is for showers in the afternoon, so we are keen to get in as much geocaching as we can beforehand.It started raining in Ross while we were there, so time to head north. Spotted the seat on our way south, so knew what to expect. Had a spot of cache blindness, so SW had to do the honours. TFTC.

#23954. Stopped for a quick P+G on our way back to Greymouth. We had thought about doing a longer walk after finding this one, but the weather wasn't promising, so we ended up doing a walk on the wilderness trail near the Taramakau. TFTC.

Quick easy find - TFTC

Today we were in Hoki visiting my sister and of course throwing in abit of maintenance aswell .We were trying to get on the scoreboard for the first of 4 finds today for the Leap Day souvenir and had already changed plans multiple times now dues to DNFs, direction of travel and time factor. This turned out to be a nice quick park and grab and the first find for today. Mum had seen the sign many times having worked in Hoki but I dont recall seeing it before. Thanks for the easy smiley and Happy Leap Day

A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache. It has been a while since we got back from Europe, and it is time for us to see more of Home. Ms_KR and I are off to the West Coast for a wee break, and some caching. Today was lovely for Walking and biking, the views of the Alps were stunning.Occaisionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs.Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are currently parked up at the DoC Lake Mahinapua Campsite … we’d been down to Ross & were heading back to our campsite but decided to detour & have a look for a few more local caches … this cache was easily found, log completed & replaced … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #3,905 for us.

Day 7 on our holiday in New Zealand. Today our tour is going from Fox Glacier to Punakaiki. We also visited this traditional cache, found it, and signed the logbook.

Found while cycling from Hokitika a section of the West Coast Wilderness Trail. A very pleasurable scenic ride. TFTC

I stopped to sign this one off on my way back from Ross. I had passed it 5 times already so it was definitely time to stop.

Stopped Herr thinking about a cache for my grandson Archie, and there was one already.

It wasn't much of a detour when we headed for the WCWT series at Mahinapua. After making use of the generous parking I directed from behind in the comfort of the air conditioning. Thank you Bitsprayer

This was our turnaround point today, our main focus was the WCWT Mahinapua trail.
A quick find in one of the only two places it could have been.

Back on the coast after a trip overseas heading to westport to start a new job..
