12:12The weather was perfect for caching today, the views were great, we found a variety of caches around the Adelaide Hills as we toured around, Woodside, Hahndorf and Nairne. Many caches today being quick finds in interesting locations such as this. Our thanks to 'Anime3Splat' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.37851*This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*

Suscoe had a delightful day out in the Adelaide Hills with our great friends Phetlern. We enjoyed the scenic trip and the lovely little villages that we passed through. We saw lots of fruit trees, well maintained hedges, happy looking cattle, some Alpacas and lovely trees. It is really a great place to explore. We enjoyed the cache finds that we made. Thanks to Anime3Splat for this nice walk in the park.

Just found it

When we first entered the off-leash dog area it was no surprise why we were the odd ones out. We didnt have any dogs. The first couple we came across had about 8 of them so we can only suggest they were qualified dog walkers. I dont know where you have to go to get a formal dog walking qualification, but Im sure its not cheap. Apart from learning dog skills and management there is also the facial hair skills and latte sipping vocabulary you need to be up with. tftc

A nice sunny day so perfect weather to be out and about in the Adelaide Hills and of course picking up some geocaches along the way. A quick find here. The creek was very picturesque today. Thank you Anime3Splat, for placing A Miraculous Find (Dog) for the geocaching community.# # SmileSmile #15114 SmileSmile # #

Something special or unusual goes here:A miraculous find to finish the day, about half way though the list I had planned. Twisted Plenty of dogs and owners about today but none where we went to make a quick find. SmileThe Generic Bit:The usual trio of puzzle solvers were available for Tuesday Trekking today. I met Ttrogg and Mrs. S.A. Sewer Rats at The Imperial in Beulah Park for a mystery tour of the Hills. Big Grin It had rained most of the way down so a few of the extreme caches planned got bypassed for finer weather although the rain held off most of the day anyway. [^] A good variety of caches visited today, most of which I had already found but was still able to have a full day of laughs, adventures and a picnic lunch. Cool ***Thanks Anime3Splat for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Big GrinLogs prepared and published through GSAK.

I had a long look around the area, but the only thing I found was a cigarette lighter on the ground near the obvious hiding spot.

Second visit here and today it was a very quick find.

I think the grass has been cut shorter since I was here.

Didn’t there used to be a cache in the middle of the loop here? Interesting how everybody walks around the loop anticlockwise. There were several dog walkers on the loop whilst I was here, but the cache has been placed where the muggles can’t see what you’re up to. Nice to see the upper Onkaparinga in full flow today.

Thanks for the cache and series Anime3Splat.

Each time I've been going past the entrance to the GZ, I've backed at the 500m walk... today I did the walk and easily found the cache.
Biggest dog park I've ever seen!

Thanks

Got here early and not too many dogs and humans around.

Started my search but came up empty handed.

Lot of dogs and humans by the time I finished.

In the hills for Coffee, Cats, Chocolate, and Caching...

Much thanks for the cache placement and maintenance Anime3Splat . Cool

A bit of a walk in the park, but cat and bat and monkey made it with no puppy altercations! [:o)]

No miracles needed, cache found quickly by the bat!

--------------------------------------

Careful caching always, with Jack, and Sebastbat.
It's a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and objects falling from trees Surprised
...... but a cache a day still keeps the boredom away Wink

--------

Most of our caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids.
No apples or other fruit needed Big Grin An apple a day doesn't keep the doctor away, we've tried that Razz

----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Wink (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside Big Grin

It's awesome of all those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting Cool

Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Wink Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!

Big Grin [:o)] Wink

The end. For now...

... until next time! Wink

Another day, another maintenance run. Fortunately there was good company in the form of Sushilord to make the day fun and productive. Was expecting a dog here (though there were plenty of live ones), but the cache was found by a Fish in the other hide.

Another day out with Dr Owl, this time prowling around the hills and ending up in the Port to meet a couple of sandgropers.

Getting access to the area was the main problem, the navigator took us to the closest point to the cache on a road. After a bit of driving around and consulting a satellite view of the area an access point was identified. Finding the cache was the easy part.

Rhetorical question: why, after going to the effort of picking up the doggy do-dos, do people think it is then okay to leave the bagged do-do on the ground?

Thanks for the cache Anime3Splat.

Took the geopups for a run through this interesting park. Well formed path and lots of huge trees providing much shade. A lovely area. Found the cache and signed the log

Needed a PAF here. I had looked there but the cache must have hiding in another dimension. Plenty of dogs today.

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Naughtybunny and I decided to do some night time caching around Balhannah and this was one to do. We knew how to approach it as my in-laws walk their dog here regularly. It was a chilly night too, so the mosquitos weren't out. We got to GZ easy enough and started looking. And looking. And looking. Eventually we widened the search and there were a few times of almost walking away. Finally naughtybunny got it. Yay. I will say the co-ordinates were out by about 10 metres. Thanks for a nice night walk and hunt. TNLN. Cheers.

Found with Chookster after a long search by torchlight. Interesting thing about torchlight is all the hidden spiders are clearly visible! We poked and prodded at GZ before widening our search quite a lot and finally finding it tucked away just as we were about to call it a night.
TFTC.
