On a wander around Queenscliff with jo2022AUS, completing the adv lab as we go. Where else could it be? A quick find here TFTC
We are spending a few days in Point Lonsdale for our Anniversary and today we have come into Queenscliff to have a look at caches around here. After spending some time on a WP of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, we headed into Queenscliff for more caches. This was next and can you believe it .... on arrival GMelb realised he had left the GPS at the previous cache again!!! So we walked back to that one, retrieved the GPS and then back to this one and cache was found fairly quickly. We kept out of sight of the guard who was letting people go over the bridge. OK from now on GMelb is doing a GPS check every time we finish at a cache. Happy to report it wasnt left behind again during this holiday lol TFTC au.fait - GJMMelb
The logbook is completely soaked and disintegrated in my hands, the cache itself if fine though
13730 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1140. All quiet on the waterfront today A few small waves and a bit of wind. The Bison Tube was full of water from not being screwed back on correctly. Got most of the water out but the paper is a little damp. SL Tnx au.fait.
Thanks for this cache, ended up a quick find after a previous log giving a clue. All in good order.
Found on a perfect sunny winter day. Our first time visiting Queenscliff and we loved it! We will be back for sure. TFTC
Thank you for the hideLog was quite full so we added a replacement to expand the life span of the cacheHope the CO doesnt mind
Found with baristayan and buckoraider on another brief footy, family and friends trip to Melbourne and Geelong. First find for us in Queenscliff after a nearby DNF. Quick and easy find. Amazingly thin bridge! TFTC!
Drove down here with Baristayan and Toyhunters while spending a few days in Geelong. Beautiful spot! Quick find at ground zero on an overcast Sunday, still recovering from the disappointing result in the footy last night Thanks!
A need for a walk despite the forecast of some showers in addition to an afternoon CITO saw me travel over the Westgate and down to Geelong as well as Queenscliffe for the purposes of a challenge I am mindful of and I suppose fitfully working towards.I can't say I am too enamoured of the freeway connecting Melbourne to Geelong - on the one hand it's flat as a tack and fairly boring. On the other hand one still needs to concentrate because the road surface undulates just enough for the need to keep one's focus. Mercifully it is an hour so over with reasonably quickly. My logs will include this standard blurb and then a comment or two about each cache separated from this blurb by a dividing line. Thanks to the COs for putting out various caches creating an incentive to visit some very picturesque spots.---A couple of different options presented themselves at GZ. Luckily I went with the one requiring the least effort and was rewarded. No muggles around today either which was a bonus.
TFTC! 11 March 2024 4:34:23pm 7639 thanks to au.fait for the cache! A quick find!
Whilst in this area, thought we might as well grab this little hide. High and dry, as well you know au fait ! Found somewhere to sign and away we went. Time for tea or beer back at camp. So we will GoLightly. TFTC au. fait.
Road tripping to Adelaide for theLeap Day Mega, caching all the way and trying to fulfil various challenges. This cache-which challenge/why? need 12 per LGA for a challenge Just got it signed and returned when 3 boys in tee shirts and shorts waded up! It's 16C!!Also met your mate as he was going fishing. All good here.TFTC
Find number 12950 at 12:16:53pm on Friday the 23 February 2024Well, I'm on my way, here we come Adelaide. I have seven days to get there and I'm travelling via the wiggly geocaching road so I hope I've allowed enouth time Today I'm travelling down to Aireys Inlet via Little River, Geelong, Queenscliff, Moriac and Jan Juc. Found all my targets bar one so, not a bad start to the trip.Trying to fill a gap in a challenge "Eighty LGA's with twenty finds" (yep, you can blame Adriaan) so here I am in Queenscliff . All were in good condition and found quickly. I'll have to bring the misses back if she every retires.**Thanks for placing this cache au.fait**---Don't miss finishing the Ballarat GeoTour before it ends on 4th March 2024. Found but it was a little wet so wasn't able to write on it well, nice view across the bridge. Dried it off as best as I could
No lingering nor larking here. The little boat warned me to not go to sea today...Thanks au.fait for this little one
This one was a nice quick grab on a windy day with no muggles around! Well one of us walked straight past it, the other found it quickly! TFTC
Luckily we did not have to Lark around for this cache and it was a quick find. Thanks for the hide.

Spontaneous Spring Victorian RoadtripDay Five: Morang to Ballarat via QueenscliffWeather: Perfect for geocaching. One of the easier finds as I make my way along the waters edge here. Retrieved and returned in a gap in the passing foot traffic. Id love to walk over that bridge! Thanks once again au.fait. Its officially a mega.GCA1DNA The Great Leap ForwardAdelaide, South Australia, February 29, 2024.Wed love to have your company.
After the CITO we decided to do just that: larked around in this beautiful area with the CO. Thank you for bringing us here!
I was heading to the dinner in Queenscliff, but came early to do some shopping and caching. Found with Moonb1 (with Alansee observing) after running into each other by pure chance.
My thanks to au.fait for the cache.

Found on this cold and windy morning. Dropped son off at the ferry early and thought this was a great time to find this cache - well after one walker and cyclist I found the cache, signed it and returned just before a family of 5 came walking by. Certainly is a busy place! Many thanks for the cache.
Decided to try and add a few smileys while in the area.... its all in the name.... TFTC
No Larkin’ around for me this morning, with a muggle sitting at water’s edge. Easy find thanks au.fait.
Quick trip down here and a quick find of the cache. Many thanks au.fait .

A quick find while walking around Queenscliff, my son was the one who found it. TFTC
With such a beautiful afternoon we couldn't resist heading down this way and collecting a few smileys. On the way to GZ one bunny went high and one went low and between them the goods were found. TFTC
A first to find hunt brought me to the Bellerine this morning so I took the opportunity to grab a few extra quick caches and Adventure Labs in the area with goal of trying to my overall finds close to 7000 before the up coming Mega in Rutherglen.
I was trying to start the Adventure Lab at St Georges but there was a funeral just winding up so I thought I would grab this quick cache before returning to gather the information I required.
At GZ I started to look for the prize when I turned around spotting the little fella.
Thank you au.fait for the hide

Out for a bike ride from the caravan park to Queenscliff. Found this one at the end of the track. I thought it was Larrikin street initially. Thanks
What a lovely location to place a hide. The nearby bridge is interesting; we watched a small amount of traffic cross the bridge for awhile before searching for the Hide here and have added our name to the log.
Thanks au.fait

We have seen so many wonderful photos of this area over the years we were pleased to be able to park nearby and find this cache.
No Larkin' around by us today, just found the cache and signed the log.
The tide was running out at a brisk pace.
Beautiful weather as well with sunshine and a cool breeze.
A favourite from us.

A couple of weeks ago my mate Saltie from Ocean Grove suggested that a small group meet in Queenscliff to help the ageing Bushfire place a replacement cache and go down to the Harbour for a coffee and a chat.
Well the chat lasted a long time and the coffee was long gone as well, but like all things in life they all come to an end, but before heading home we decided to check this fairly new cache out and it bought me to an area that I have seen on many occasions because the owner of this cache has placed many images of this area on Facebook.
Thanks for the cache au.fait and sorry you were not around to join us.

A visit with my mentor saw me collecting this cache during the day somewhere in between cuppa's. This was my first visit to Queenscliff so it was very fitting to have this be my first cache located in this town.
Nice easy find in a lovely location. Nice to be away from vegetation with potential snakes. Found while holidaying in Queenscliff. Just down the road from accomodation. TFTC
Easier than I was expecting. A nice spot here. Just played golf at Queenscliff over the bridge & a handy one for the way home. Tftc
With the thunderstorm rolling across the region, we headed to Point Lonsdale pier, hoping to get some lightning photographs. The Lightning tracker showed some promise, but after being there for over an hour and a half, we packed up the camera and called it quits.
On the way home, we detoured Queenscliff as we had seen this new cache pop up a few days ago.
We parked Joey the geomobile nearby and took the short walk to GZ. We made a nice quick find, and soon, our name was in the logbook. We had little to worry about in the muggle department as only a solitary fisherman was more intent on baiting his hook.
Thank you for this Traditional cache au.fait.

Perfect timing as I was heading out the door to make a small detour and head down the coast. A lot of traffic coming out of Queenscliff, but not much coming in.
Arrived a GZ and felt like I was being watched. So I didn’t lark around and I was able to get out of sight and make a quick find and a blank log for a [FTF].
Log signed and replaced as found.
Favourite point added for location and plan sight hide.
Thanks for the cache au.fait
