Great cache and love the container even if it took me a minute to locate. Great spot for kids to grab a book and swap it out for another. Well Done TFTC
Cache was found after a short search. Solved the field puzzle. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumulated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Sol's day the twentieth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Arrived here and the search began sometimes it takes a bit to take a step back and have a look, the cache was found and the riddle was solved.Travelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Thank you so much for the cache little bit of thinking but got there in the end with some help from the ownerTFTC
I dont recommend doing it their was nothing inside it so dont do it as a warning
Hi folks! The cache must have been raided by muggles so I'll add a new logbook, pens, and print a new support (the old one snapped). It'll be all done today!
Great hide. Absolutely loved the riddle and container! Fluffy pen was also a nice touch. Signed and returned. TFTC
TFTC! 15 July 2024 6:19:00PM 8259 thanks to pitted_olive for the cache! Thanks for a small puzzle. A quick cache, signed and returned.
Out before dawn and it felt a little unnerving to park my rump out front of the house. Could only make out a couple of words in the riddle but one gave me a clue and voila!! TFTC and adventure.
Swung by here on the bike on a early morning commute to work. After browsing the literature on offer I turned my attention to the field puzzle. The riddle was solved quickly allowing me access to the wonderfully crafted container. A fav from me for the creative container.
17:08I found the first iteration of this cache not long before someone made off with the container when we were restricted to travel within five klicks from home.It gave me a good excuse for a fine walk on a sunny winter's day. When this one was published, I figured I'd leave a return visit for when I felt like another wander. As it turns out, leafotwind walked past it on his way to a few hides along Edgar's Creek, and I joined him on that portion. So on our way back, we stopped here. One benefit of a cache of this nature is that you can open the container in plain view... especially if everyone in view knows the cache is there. The riddle was a familiar one before I opened the early edition. My walking companion, though, struggled. But he got there in the end. Thanks, pitted_olive, for this revisit. I'm so glad you were able to put this excellent cache back in play.#8816
I seem to be making a habit of visiting the northern suburbs when needing some exercise in the form of a walk. This time it was Coburg as I started at Edwardes Lake Park and walked down to Coburg Lake Reserve. I was joined for part of it by nirgalagrin who got in some desired physical activity, performed some cache maintenance and found one of the handful of caches he hasn't found in his 5km zone.My logs will include this standard blurb and then a comment or two about each cache separated from this blurb by a dividing line. Many thanks to the the COs for putting out the caches found during this walk. ----I had passed by this cache on my way from Edwardes Lake Park down to Coburg Lake Reserve and decided to leave the CO and his family to their activities. As I walked past on my return to Edwardes Lake Park, this time with nirgalagrin, the CO was having a chat to a friend about the plantings on his nature strip. After resolving the answer to the riddle, accessing the log and doing the duties, all was restored ready for the next finder. I think the cache is worth of a FP for the effort taken in setting this up. I hope this lasts well into the future.
Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. FAV from meThanks pitted_olive for the cache.
Out once again with Rebel Acts putting some smiles on the map, always great to be on the geo hunt. This is one of the caches we successfully found today, Cheers for the cache.Love the container!!!
Suscoe's second day in Melbourne,We had headed out to the North of Melbourne today for a few caches. The traffic was pretty good and we enjoyed wandering the roads and cache locations. Thanks to pitted_olive for this hide. What a nice library and a lovely hide. A favourite from us.
Nice, fun and unique hide. All in good condition. Fave point from me. TFTC
Find number 12937 at 2:02:21pm on Monday the 19 February 2024I had to come over to Bundoora to get my GeoVehicle serviced so here I am. I headed out for a walk to kill some time and spent almost two hours chasing a few caches in the area before getting back to the service location where they had a car I could borrow for the rest of the day. Yeah, I'll head a little further afield to Merry Creek area. Solved the field puzzle quickly enough and signed the log.Loved this wide open location and the puzzle, a favourite from me **Thanks for placing this cache pitted_olive**---Don't miss finishing the Ballarat GeoTour before it ends on 4th March 2024. I took a diversion to this one while out on a kitty litter run today. Once I spotted the cache, I realised that I didn't have enough info to sign the log. A quick check of the cache page rectified that situation though and that had me signing the log at 10:45. Clever enough to earn a fave point from me. TNLNSL. Thanks pitted_olive.
This one was super fun for one of my first geocaches I loved the riddle and I couldnt wait to come and try it out!
frmen1 and I are staying nearby and needed a gentle walk. Great nature strip and little library. Easy puzzle to solve. TFTC
Enjoyed the riddle and the Halloween decorations. That hand scared the crap out of me. Nice touch.
A quaint little street with a very colourful home. Loved the build of the cache and the location. TFTC
All good; quiet in this street. The CO was getting the garden going for spring ?? TFTC
The kids had fun finding and solving this one. Managed to pick up a few books for work too.
I’ll be back to add some soon.
Lovely meeting you and having a bit of a chat.

A great piece of engineering and a bold hide with a little puzzle to boot. What a fun cache. I admired the garden too....your brocolli is way ahead of mine!! Thanks for bringing me to your little slice of paradise. Gets a favourite from me.
I had to make a trip down to the big smoke today to visit my daughter, she lives near by. Before heading home i decided to grab a cache. I sat in the car for quite a while trying to work out which cache in the area would be useful to improve my statistics. So many possibilities, so many options, so overwhelmed! In the end i threw up my hands and headed for the nearest one, and here i am. A perfectly lovely cache attached to and surrounded by evidence of wholesome community sharing. Its enough to warm the cockles of this crotchety old heart. Thanks for sharing. Also, its hard rubbish day here and the streets are full of other sharing and busy "collectors", its always a fun event, i wish i had my trailer.
Great hide here. Only about the second cryptex cache I have found. TFTC pitted olive.

What a morning!
We have been side tracked, explored Preston ad lab, picked up rubbish at the CITO, found some traditionals, solved a puzzle, had a BBQ, went to the awards ceremony and chatted with lots of friendly geocachers.
After the awards ceremony, JupiterPearl, Spiffy- and I were eager to explore more caches in the north. We set off to see what was was 'on the way' home.
This cache was a fabulous surprise and we were greeted by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and some elves.
The intricacy in the 3D printed cache was incredible and I loved the bonus of solving a themed riddle. This cache is a favourite.
Thanks pitted_olive and I hope you publish more caches to entice us back to the north.

Award nomination and CITO event day had arrived and I messaged Fleabag to see what he was doing to get here and he said he was leaving early so I headed off by myself and found a few caches on the way. After the event we made our way via quite a few caches back towards home and ended up finishing about 5pm.
Parked near here and Krsitysadventures spotted this one and we all worked on the riddle and got it first time. Great cache, a favourite from me.
Thanks pitted_olive for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

We wandered over here after the nearby event caches today. Well this was a very pretty cache and so nicely constructed in 3DP. Really glad that we wandered over and a shame that a few more did not come on over too. Our second find at a library box like this just this week. Thanks from D & HA B-A
I was heading towards the CITO and the event at Edwardes Park Lake and received a notification about a new side tracked cache in the area.
So after finding that one I was heading back up North and I remember seeing on my map a cache about a street / book library thought I might as well look for this one since I’m in the area and still have a bit of time on my hands.
I have come across quite a few book libraries in my caching travels and it is always great to find another one.
A lot of the books must be out on loan and then I on located the cache and after solving the riddle I soon added my name to the log.
A fav goes out to you for this one.
Thanks pitted_olive TFTC

After the CITO and GV meeting , Kristyadventures,Spiffy and I drive around gathering a few of the local caches - this one was really cute in an area well kept by the owner. - we loved the construction and riddle.
Soon had opened, signed and replaced.
Fav from me.

Out caching with xambo4u after attending a gardening event in Coburg.
What a lovely setting for children passing by. Clever cache, keeps it safe in a busy area.
A favourite point for all the effort, thanks pitted_olive.

Loved this on. Out with a Kidner 44 heading home after a SEATO in the morning. What a lovely way to finish off our day. Love the extra bit that you needed to do. Thanks for the cash
This is really well done. The street library is good. The street library with a 3D printed puzzle attached is even better. Thanks pitted olive for bringing me here.
This one turned out to be quite the adventure. We were staying nearby so it was a short walk to the cache.
I thought I had the answer but the device wouldn't budge.
Another trip proved no better.
On my third visit the cache popped open with the answer I had been using all along. Turns out it was stuck.

It is just amazing the things you can create with a 3D printer. I answered the riddle and gained access to the log. Very innovative.
Nice one...... Walk pooch and pleased to see a new(ish) cache in the area. Left a Serbian Captain Gutt. TFTC
After a Friday night out, my dad and I decided to look for a local geocache. So we came here, and inbetween 30 seconds we spotted the cache. A quick and easy one, still heaps of fun. Love the idea of having a cache at a kids mini library. TFTC
Got to searching through the collection first. Then got the wrong lock and tried to translate the answer into a number. Finally noticed the proper lock and resolved the rest. Nice one.
I normally like to cache on my pushy, but I visited my daughter today and I thought I'd do version 2 on the way home. I'm glad the cache was replaced because I like the idea and the area. Thank you pitted olive for your cache, I grabbed the t/b to send on it's way. A fave from me.

I’ve walked down this street a lot and never noticed the cache but now that I’ve started geocaching I appreciate how it’s hidden in the street library. The riddle to help open the cache was clever and I enjoyed it.
TFTC. I love these libary caches. met the owners and lovely children. You can have a favourite for this one.
Hadn't read the cache page so I had to work out the riddle right there. Such a good idea too. Managed to find a book for the grandkids and replaced it with one for slightly older children with a book my husband is forever talking about. He read it as a teenager.
Thanks for he fun pitted_olive

After attending the Weeding on a Wednesday CITO at Coburg Lake Rocky Outcrop we set a course for home, naturally following a route which included a variety of caches including this one.
What a cool hide - definitely earns a FP from us today - very clever use of 3D printer.
Thanks to pitted_olive for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Bunadoorian and I were out when the notification came through of new cache being published . I looked where it was and said Roaminghowie will get there first. So we continued with our catch up with friends. Once home we checked again and I was correct - well done Roaminghowie. We came here and while I was admiring the great selection of childrens books in the street library - Bunadoorian had the cache in hand and log book out. Thank you for the cache and placing another piece for us all to find - pitted_olive.
When this cache first showed up in my email notifications I was having morning tea with some friends so sadly that damed elusive RoamingHowie beat Grub62 and I to the cache by some way too. Yesterday we were caching in the heat, today in the rain. Anyway it is a pleasant change. We read the riddle prior to arriving at GZ but it seems we misread it's intent. This led to a bit of a search until I saw the obvious and it all made sense. After that the logbook was signed quickly and GZ returned to order. I must say that I love these field puzzles. TFTC.
