Logs
fitzy_1965 and I organised a group to do the walk around Peel Common. Our group included: Contesta, domsky, FurfacesLL, youban, tankengine, dty73, GLISS!, Joolay, kittykatch, tikvaNZ, isopeda, barb2e & smittengranny.Day 2 started with a group effort around Mt Panorama only had two cache to find on the lap but was great to hang out with the others before departing ways.Once the lap was finished, we all went our separate ways before heading home. All caches found quickly and easily unless otherwise stated.
Found as part of Canberra (Region) Bathurst Invasion 2024 (CBI24) which consisted of minniek, Joolay, Kittykatch, GLISS!, FurfacesLL, isopeda, Tankengine, dty73, TikvaNZ, Contesta, Domsky, Youban, Barb2e, Smittengranny, and myself.A plan was hatched, accommodation booked, and caches chosen - it was another Canberra Invasion of Bathurst. It seems a long time ago that I participated in the first Canberra Invasion of Bathurst back in 2009 where I found cache number 1000 ! Day 2. It was time to tidy up all the remaining caches around the place, then head home. We started off with a lap around Mount Panarama (a must do when in Bathurst). All caches were found without issue unless stated. This one was a nice quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued along our planned list. Thanks PeterAndJaymee !!
A weekend of fun with a group of Canberra cachers. The weather was beautiful, cold and clear with little wind and it was a perfect day to be out walking and exploring and enjoying a winter weekend in Bathurst. Thanks for all the adventures and efforts to create some fun hides for the Geocaching community. Domsky
Out and about this evening picking up a few caches. Quick find but the log was mush. Luckily I found a replacement in the car.TFTC PeterAndJaymeeFind 7590 logged from cgeo:
Paper inside got wet from the container being put back upside down. Fun find for the kids!
Reperio 19:50Headed to Bathurst to enjoy half a day of caching in the area, and decided to try and clear out as many inner city caches that I could given today was quiet about the town. Arrived at GZ to find Bathursts entire population of Galahs here, or so it looked like. Never seen so many in one spot. At GZ, the cache was no trouble seeing it from a distance.Gratias PeterAndJaymeeAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

Lovely spot but cache is very wet. Sorry but I didn’t have any paper on me to replace it. TFTC
Forgot to bring a pen, though, as it was a spontaneous decision to go looking.
