With the weather cooling down a bit, we decided to head out to Narrogin for an overnight camping trip. This cache was one we found on our way down. Cheers and TFTC.Gday there crabzy11, we were in this area today and found your cache DDT10 - Reserve GCA442V. Our name was added to the log book at 10:24AM on 20 April 2024. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!We took up Geocaching on 3 March 2013 and this cache brings our total find count to - 14665.

We found the cut through track so didn't have to do the whole one way circuit just to find the cache. Cache was in a good location and a reasonable size.

We travelled for 106 days with richlink. From Perth to Darwin along the West Coast, then down the center to Alice Springs and Uluru, the Flinders Ranges, and the Yorke Peninsula. Then we crossed the Nullabor and cached our way down to Collie where we parted company. Today we are in the beautiful Dryandra Woodlands to do the DDT - Welcome to Dryandra series.

The woodland was stunning and with so many orchids blooming we had to be careful where we stepped. We were also fortunate enough to see a Numbat that darted across the track in front of us.
Thank you crabzy11, we found all of the caches to be in good order, though we had to replace a few of logs that were very wet. A FP from us.

Having taken a week off from work for some R & R at least one day out caching was in order.

Headed up to Williams then across to Narrogin to pick up some of the multitude of caches that were placed for WAGB. From there, we will see.

Find 32 of 35 on another great WAGB day. Happy to grab an FTF early om the way out to Cuballing for a 10km bike ride, back to town for coffee before everything shut then back out to Dryandra Woodland, via the airstrip and Contine Hill, for some quality park and grabs. Finished the day with a proper MTB blast in Foxes Lair before the rain came down then straight out to the evening's event.

Down in Narrogin for the 10th anniversary of WA Goes Big! What a relief it is being away from the city for a few nights. As expected it was a busy weekend of caching and this meant driving to all corners of the shire and beyond. Picked up plenty of cache and hopefully will be back soon to clear off the rest of the map. Thanks to West Oz Geocaching for a great weekend of events!

In Narrogin for WA Goes Big 2023. Wow 10years!

With a big list of caches to hunt before the forecast rain of later in the weekend it was another early start for us today. We toured through Cuballing, Popanyinning and Dryandra back to Narrogin in time to pick up a few AdLabs before the WAGB Sundowner.

Woke up on a crisp morning and with no plans for the first part of the day had a slow start to it.
Started the day grabbing some new caches in Narrogin before meeting up with SirFancy and Meme28 to clear up the caches in Cuballing.
The afternoon had us heading west to meet up with Geotrakka, neva2old and Monkeywand to pick up the Dryandra caches, meeting up with Family Steiner, Deefa71 & FelixII along the way.
The evening was enjoyed catching up with everyone at the sundowner event and discussing the plans for tomorrow.
By the end of my caching day I had totaled 32 finds, 1 event attended and 1 DNF.

Day 2 of our Narrogin WAGB23 long weekend. Up for some more fun with Geotrakka grabbing a few smiles between our Westoz commitments. It’s a bit chilly but the sun is shining and the landscape has something new around every corner to see.

Day 2 of the WAGB weekend. After a massive day yesterday we were up early for preparations. Looking forward to more antics throughout the weekend. Many thanks to everyone involved in making this weekend a success. This is going to be a massive weekend and no doubt a great adventure. Arrived into town today staying for a couple of nights in the RV area before returning for the WAGB Event.
Headed out today to Wyandra, the forest roads were in better condition than expected.
This afternoon it was looking for caches closer to town, mostly ALs
From the small amount we saw of the town it is really nice & lots of ammenities for the locals.
Thankyou to the CO's for placing these caches.

I had my planned operation delayed yet again (3rd time) so the Family decided to cheer me up and take a trip to the Narrogin (my home town) area to do some of the recently published caches.

This was one of the caches visited. Cache was quickly found on arrival at ground zero.

Out and about again, a hot day, jumping in and out of the car and enjoying the aircon. Hit the country mainly around the Narrogin locality.

Found a variety of hides in different areas which made for a good day out. Generally quick finds today.

I had a few hours to kill before a meeting in Narrogin, so I decided to come out to Dryandra and have a crack at the new first to finds. I wasn’t holding a lot of hope, having been out for the better part of 24 hours, but sure enough, blank logs on those that were not jetskiied already. After my meeting in town, it was back to Perth, winding around to some caches along the way of course.

Almost overshot this one. A slight reverse back had me within cooee of an appropriate parking location. Cheers crabzy11!

Spent the day exploring the Dryandra Woodlands & the surrounds & after diverting of the main road to check out the nearby high point (where I got good phone reception) I was on my way back out to the road when I stopped to read a text message.

I must have had a good eye as I looked out the window & noticed what could only be hiding something Yep, again I happened to stumble upon another unpublished hide!!!
