Beautiful day so thought we would collect some caches in the Margate area. Unfortunately came up short with this one. There seemed to be a cable tie on a branch where it was, but we think it is no longer there.

We decided to get out and about today as Lady membsec was feeling pretty good today, however she may regret that later.Found quickly as the coords were very good. Not sure how long this will last with the existing placement as it is very fragile.TFTC

The sun had disappeared behind the mountain when we arrived at this cache but there was still sufficient light to make a search. Reasonably accurate coordinates, the hint and the terrain rating led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks MrAkubra for the cache.

Beautiful spot, and nice easy find.
Couldn’t sign log, as couldn’t get it out of container

I've been all over the place the past few weeks with a cache here and a cache there, I need to catch up before i get to far behind.
A quick find with gooseandegg.

Thanks for the cache.

We focused in the wrong place for a while, but that was well above the DT for this cache. We moved on to where SSR was going to search originally and I spotted it quickly.
Thanks MrAkubra

Thanks for the cache MrAkubra.
A nice little spot to pull over and enjoy the views. A little stroll to GZ and the cache was soon spotted.
Lots of people out on the water today.

We were in Margate and had some time to fill and so decided to use it to grab a few caches. We started on the Incana track where we found two caches then drove to the Dave Burrows walk to grab another giving us three finds for the day.

We parked close to GZ and took the short walk to the cache. It was spotted quickly and the log book was signed.
Lovely view from here.

Thanks for the cache MrAkruba!

Ok... i spent waaay more time here [B)] than i would have liked to, come to think of it, i didn't mind as the spot was awesome, pity i spoiled the experience a bit by struggling to find this one, lol Big Grin

I was almost "all at sea", when it became obvious i was clearly looking in the wrong spot so i shifted my search area as one does when the hide is being an "Oinker!" and i spotted the hide from a better angle and it was CIH. How could i not 'see' that being that color ha ha Big Grin
"Hey! that view is amazing!!"......now... seeing i've found it Big Grin

Took the log back to the GeoMobile which was not too far off of GZ and signed the log at 09:13 on Monday 13 February 2023.
TFTC MrAkubra Smile

We were in the area today and parked to have some lunch. I wondered if there were any geocaches nearby. Opened the app to find that we were parked only 10m away from this one! The other half of peaches went and found it quite quickly! Beautiful spot. Thanks for the cache.
(As it was an impromptu geocache find we didn’t have a pen but took photo of log book as proof of find)

A nice walk down Incana Track this morning to get to GZ.
