This was one we solved a while back and went to have a look for a little while back but had to give up due to the school muggles. Back again at a better time and like others we struggled with the location and it wasn’t until we cross over and saw another potential feature for hiding that we made the camoed find. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

Returned today after receiving a hint as to the hide and made a quick find. All well. Love the camo and the puzzle somewhat. Just goes to show what you don't use, you lose. Tftc

Was able to solve this puzzle with the aid of an online tool as it must be over 50 years since my calculus days. However, was not as successful finding the cache despite a reasonable search. Must own to being a bit defeated from the start when previous dnfs are noted. May need to be a bit more tenacious and come without a full agenda to complete. Cheers. Will return.

Solved this soon after publication, always love a good maths puzzle.
Was at GZ a good 15min, climbed the nearby tree, checked the fenceline but no joy. I think a hide hint would be useful here as there's so many spots a micro could be.

FTF at 6:52am.

True story…I grabbed the nearest paper which was graph paper, sat down and rewrote the first antiderivative with the denominator on the numerator (index changed sign of course!). I even remembered the dx. Problem was, I was sitting in front of my work surface pro and it’s got the classpad emulator loaded on it. Motivation gone! Unsurprisingly, since I’ve taught the methods 3/4 course far more than 20 times, often to multiple different classes each year, I could also have solved in a calc free section of an assessment….but I didn’t. I love the idea of the puzzle and especially your ability to solve it but I suspect others will use online tools too, much as they do for sudoku.

I think the south and east may be mixed up on the instructions. Maybe not too. It was too early to be sure but my first attempt said incorrect on the checker so I switched things up in the most logical way.

As I pulled out from the garage, the guy next door pulled out too. His daughter has started year 7 at PC this year and must have had 7am sport training. Hopefully she studies Methods one day… it’s a dying subject as students look for a quick and easy route to universities, who are scarily desperate for bums on seats.

Terrific to have you back hiding so close to home. Thanks.

The easterly and southerly were indeed around the wrong way. Spent too much time checking the sums and not the description. Happy caching.
