This checker has now been fixed to give the correct numbers for this challenge.

The checker for this challenge is broken / incorrect. According to Project-GC I qualify for this challenge with 97 finds. However upon manually counting my traditional finds I have less than 40 which means I actually dont qualify for this challenge at all! It appears the checker is counting your TOTAL finds in Hawkesbury, including every cache type. Not just traditional caches. The checker will need to be updated so that it matches the challenge requirements, as I currently cannot log a find despite Project-GC telling me I should!

#23055 @1420Day 2 of a weekend in the Hawkesbury. Many Canberra cachers descended on the Hawkesbury for a weekend of caching, including kayaking the Colo River yesterday. After parting ways from the group, I collected a few more caches before heading for home. Cache easily found. Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC.Another day around the hills of Colo River collecting challenges, solved puzzles and traditionals.A great day out with the Canberra Crew signing as CC24. It was hot & exhausting with lots of bush walks over many hills. Wonderful scenery. A long convoy of cars carrying kayaks. Awesome.Many great puzzles that are well thought out. We started the day walking a trail of challenges, before moving on to ying yang puzzles. A ferry crossing saw the last cacher cross, but the ferry sat on the other side chatting to the one car returning and after a long time waiting we turned and went of caching our own way unable to cross. Later, we crossed elsewhere only to meet up with the group returning!!! A warm day and the walks become too much for me with hills, a great day (Weekend) though and time to return home. Colo River TripHeading to Wiseman's Ferry area for a weekend of caching with Joolay, contesta and Smittengranny. Found with minniek and the rest of Team CC24 (Canberra Canoeists 2024) during our Colo River Kayaking Adventure today.As soon as the event and the attempt on this series was published, minniek and I were there. This is our sort of fun group effort caching run that we enjoy so much. Most of the puzzles had been solved earlier, with a push to solve the final ones during the last month. Today we launched and had a great day on the water (well - I guess I was the only casualty with a sprained wrist after my kayak turned turtle on a sandbar - thank goodness for the safety boat !!). All but one cache were found, although quite a few needed maintenance which we had permission to do. The team work was awesome to watch. All good things must come to an end and when we all reached land it was a tired but happy bunch of people on shore. We then did a few more caches on land - mostly Challenge Caches - before heading to tonight's event in Wiseman's Ferry.Thanks ilook4geo !! Will check my stats for this one.

A quick park & grab here before heading up the trail for another challenge! Cache was found and signed with GHHHTFTC -**Qualifications:**Unfortunately I have mostly targeted the Yin and Yang series around the Hawkesbury, which are all mystery caches. I have just under 40 traditional caches found in this county, so do not meet the challenge requirement Ill have to come back and visit this county again in the future, Im sure I can smash out the numbers I need next time, but who knows when that will be as I dont come to this part of Sydney often. I look forward to coming back!

#2256This was the fourth of four finds for the day. After locating '100 Souvenirs Challenge', blackdiamondrun and I attempted a nearby ladder cache but were experiencing some problems with the ladder and decided to abandon that and attempt this cache. It was on the other side of the road to the direction we were heading, but found a good spot to turn around and it is helpful to have a clear area to stop for this cache. I used the checker and the result was sarah_frances has used Project-GC to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did. User has 122 finds (50 needed). Came out this way today but caught on the road during the heat at lunch time walked 1.5km each way along the Northern Road where I found one of the Challenge caches there but with the long dry grass gave up on 3 of the caches without finding. Started to feel sick so decided the shops at Windsor would be cooler and something cool to drink. After I cooled down then decided to look for the 2 new Challenge caches, saw that they had previously been found, checked what TOTTs I needed, found I was short one so arranged to borrow the one I needed. Then headed out this way

With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache ilook4geo
