Logs
Lid is missing and the minigrip is broken, but logsheets are completely fine Thanks for bringing to this interesting village!
Unfortunately the weather isn't the best today, so it'll be a case of doing what we can, when we can .I visited this area chasing a geo tour cache last time I visited the South island. Nice to get another smiley here.We managed to grab this one without getting too wet. Thanks for putting this here.
Rattll and I are on a road trip in the South Island. Day 15, started near Haast, heading for Hokitika via Okarito. Nor large numbers of caches along the way, so we're picking up what we can along the way. Gosh, the lagoon at Okarito looks amaaazing! I'd love to come back with kayaks!A quick find at GZ. Rain starting to lift, so we didn't get hardly wet at all! All good in the container. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
This cach was really easy to find. Thanks for it.Okarito is so nice Greetings from Germany
Today bunadoorian and I had a touristy day - a helicopter ride and a boat trip on the lake. We decided to come and check out this area. This was an easy find even with muggles in the area. TFTC and for bringing us here Victoriousone.
A quick find with Grub62 the container has seen better days but the logbook is dry. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.
Found this one at the end off nice walk up the Trig. Still no pen so fotologging.Tftc's
#3957 Today is day 15 of my geocaching vacation in New Zealand. I walked some of the tracks in Franz Josef and wandered around the town. It was still early, so I decided to drive to Whataroa and Okarito.Found it before the Okarito Trig walk. The cover seemed to be missing, but the content was still in great condition.Victoriousone, thank you for the cache!-crystaloops from Taipei, Taiwan on October 15, 2024 @ 17:06:34[GCA4FXD] Okarito was a D1.5/T1.5 Small Traditional Cache at the time of finding.
TFTC - didn't have a way to sign the log book, so took a photo. Okarito is my favorite place on Earth. Been here four times and hope to return again.
Gevonden samen met Bald Eagle op onze trip door Nieuw Zeeland op 5 apr. 2024 15:08. Dank je wel Victoriousone voor deze cache. Groetjes van mij 1741 uit Eindhoven
An easy find a very short distance from where we were staying. Lid has broken but should still be OK where it is hidden. tftc
Thank you for the cache!Another day exploring and geocaching in New Zealand with my bestfriend geocacher Ironford. We left Hokitika in the morning and travelled to Okarito Lagoon for some kayaking, which was really fun, and we had a great guide and learned a lot. The wetlands were amazing, a totally new type of landscape for me. We also climbed the Okarito Trig. The forest was wonderful, and we could hear so many bird sounds. We found the "national" blue mushroom which was on a NZ stamp!Greetings from Prague, Czech Republic ??
Called in here for an afternoon fishing session. No luck there but grabbed this cache in passing. many thanks for placing this one in such a wonderful location.
Found it after a nice night on the campground with a beautiful sunset with Laira007. TFTC
We love a visit to Okarito & even better is finding a cache here. An easy find in a great location. Thanks for placing.
Brilliant place, we even spotted a kotuku as we drove away. A fave because of the bird.
Came here with Piwaka54 to search for birds! Ride is out so not many apart from Tui and a cool little green finch. Super enjoying the history! TFTC
Great place. I loved it. Thanks for the cache and greetings from the Czech Republic.
Our NEW ZEALAND - TASMANIA - AUSTRALIA JOURNEY takes us to beautiful places and provides us with an incredible number of wonderful moments and experiences.Occasionally we also visit a few GeoCaches along the way.One of many rainy days on the west coast...! We drove here during a short break in the rain from Franz Josef Glacier and quickly lured the little one out of its hiding place.Thank you for placing, maintaining and caring snapfish2 from SwitzerlandPS: Translated with the Deepl app

What an interesting place to come and visit, enjoyed the AdLab stroll around and visiting the old store. Cheers
Trouve la fin d'une somptueuse randonne d'abord sur la plage et les rochers, puis flanc de falaise dans la fort. Terminus par ma zone humideUne merveilleuse randonne
Quick find before walking up to the trig. Log is looking full but still space for a few names. I left a blank sheet of waterproof paper just in case the log does fill up before it can get replaced. Cool town, cool place, cool hide! TFTC
Cache found during our road trip on the south island.
Beautiful place and amazing view from the end of the walk even though the sky was not clear. Thank you!

Hooray! Here on a clear, stunning winter's day. Simply incredible on a day like today. Thanks!
Found it on a very soggy day. A bit gutted because we brought our kayaks and had planned to kayak the lagoon but the wx wasn't kind.
Nice easy find, after this we tried to do the coastal walk but the tide was still too far in. So ended up going on to the tops. Beautiful area TFTC.
It was a rainy day, so it was easy to pick the cache without muggels.

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are currently parked up at the NZMCA Franz Josef Campsite … thought we’d go for a drive to the Okarito Lagoon & pick up a DoC Kiwi Guardian, an Ad Lab & a few caches … successful on all counts … this cache was easily found, log completed & replaced … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... Our Southland expedition has come to an end. We're heading home and between heavy rain and snow showers just can't help ourselves. Caches need to be found. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache.
We are on our way home from 10 days in Southland, driving in appalling weather conditions but a break in the weather when we reached here. A quick find.
Thank you for placing this cache.

This was a bit of a deja vu for me as I was here about 14 months ago. I invited another to come with me to see what geocaching was all about.
