Hi there BeverlyHillbilly. While out on the road today we hunted this cache but after a search we came up empty handed . Thanks to BeverlyHillbilly for this cache.FieldNotes:
With a day free we decided to head to this area and collect a bunch of the caches that have been published since our last visit. This cache was one we had on our todo list for the day. Cheers and TFTC.Gday there BeverlyHillbilly, we were in this area today and found your cache Clackline Brook GCA4W3N. Our name was added to the log book at 8:59AM on 13 July 2024. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!We took up Geocaching on 3 March 2013 and this cache brings our total find count to - 14879.
Have travelled with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. After spending some time in Peterborough, Minlaton, Moonta,Whyalla and Wudinna we headed across the Nullarbor, picking up caches along the way including Kambalda and the Goldfields. Winding our way home now and a quick flit through Doodlakine, Muckinbudin and Kellerberrin. Now spending a couple of nights in Northam to grab some hides. After rain last night we decided to head out early to fulfill the days agenda before more rain rolled in. Tricky to find but eventually spotted it - got wet knees retrieving it. Thanks for the hide.
Having travelled with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast, down through the centre, the Flinders Ranges, the Yorke Peninsula, and the Nullarbor, we are now on the home stretch.
On our way to Northam for a few days, enjoying the countryside and looking for caches as we go. TFTC.

On the way into Northam to collect some of the caches we missed out on yesterday, as I couldn't attend the event. Took a while to spot this one. Luckily there was a little geotrail to the viewing spot!! TFTC
Attending an event nearby putting some more ?? on the map around Northam. Found with KB Thanks
Mrs Crackers headed down from Geraldton by bus to attend The Magic Maker event yesterday and was very kindly chauffeured around Northam and surrounds by Di Morgan for the weekend.
We found 50 caches before attending the event at lunch time and after much fun and laughter there we headed back out and managed another 21 before heading back for pre dinner drinks
The majority where the GG AD series which were found fairly quickly right where the GPSr's were pointing.
I hadn't been to this part of WA before and really enjoyed the countryside around here.
Thanks to all the different cache owners for the hides.

This was a bugger to find. By far my lengthiest search of the day. I followed the trodden grass to a likely tree. Lengthy search. Back to the crash barrier. Back to the tree. Time for a look at the limestone along the edge of the drain. Up down and all around. With sodden shoes and wet knees the cache was eventually retrieved. Thanks.
On our way to Northam for an event and we were putting smilies on the back roads. After looking in the obvious spots with no luck we changed perspective and it was quickly seen. Axell33 gave guidance while I made the grab. Thank you for this cache. This really is a lovely spot on this winters day, creek running nicely and green everywhere!
Out and about again, managed to get away early for the weekend. The call was to go out to Northam to do the new GG series and some other new ones came up. Smashed out 50+ finds for the afternoon.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

Overnighting in Northam ahead of the Maker event tomorrow. Had a plan to make a dent in the GG series today, plus pick up a few extras that I passed on the way This was one that I stopped off at. Had a few ideas here but none were proving correct. Changed my approach and spotted it quickly - my mistake was being in far too close. Once spotted I had to remember where it was when going back around to retrieve! All ok here - TFTC
We stopped to search for this one before making our way into Northam. We searched for awhile with no luck and we starting to run out of time. After searching what we thought were all the places Leega spotted the prize. We signed our names to your log and returned your cache back exactly as we found it. TFTC BeverlyHillbilly.
Thought I would come and visit my bestie and start in her new GG series. Out and about caching to achieve all the souvenir challenges for this month. The sun is shining, so it’s a great day to be caching

WOW. Compass had me barking up the wrong tree, but put me in the perfect spot to spy the cache. Reaching it was another thing.

A sleep in this morning in the cool weather.
Mrs F did her morning walk whilst Mr F did the housework and packed lunch.
Then we hit the road to tackle a few caches. Seems we added some KEP track caches along the way. Visited a winery and just had to do a tasting and have a chat (after finding the cache of course) visited some historic spots, some clever evil caches along the way. Did some cache maintenance to help out the CO's and returned to camp on dusk. Big day out for these nomads.
A new cache. Hmmm logs wont give much away. Lets try this. yep there it is.... do this, that. Log soon in hand. Fave point for excellent coords and hide.

YAY ... [^] ... *FTF* @ 0615 ... [^]
For some reason I woke extra early this morning, and quickly noticed this new offering only 19km east . Forgoing even my morning coffee, I was in the car and heading off well before 6am.
I was soon enough at GZ where I began the search .. hmmmm, a mint tin hey? ... wonder if it's magnetic? I checked all the usual spots, but my GPS was pointing further afield. Rechecking the cache page, I noticed the difficulty rating for the first time [:o)]. I refocussed my search area slightly, and what do you know [?] .. a mint tin was found .
Very sneaky Mr Hillbilly ... very sneaky!
Feeling quite chuffed with myself for finding the cache so quickly, I added our name to the top of the log and rehid as found.
