I had to be out of the house for a couple of hours this afternoon, so thought a short caching trip might be in order.Ive not been to the Boblands for a while and there were a few new caches of interest in the area, so I headed off there. This was one of my caches of interest. It was quickly found and was in good condition. Thanks Bob From Elsewhere for the cache.
I dropped my son off to play badminton and had one and a half hours to kill. Wasnt really worth going home so I picked a pocket of four nearby caches to tackle. I parked nearby and set off on foot. All caches found without problems. Thanks for the cache Bob From Elsewhere.# # #14182 # #
Found it! Second find on a post work walk around some of the north-eastern suburbs. Nice spot here with the sound of golf balls being hit at the driving range. TFTC!
Decided to stroll along the dry creek Trail today. No problems finding this one. Lots of folks at the driving range.

It's: another fun day caching the northeast 'burbs and beyond with Mr Froghoppin. Quite a few nice parks around here... without the cache we'd drive right past. Thank you Bob From Elsewhere for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance ---------------- ----------------------Caching country and city... wherever we go... In a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid lumps falling from trees - - - a cache a day keeps us agile... sort of --------Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) Work gets in the way - and some may take longer to log than others due to mixed technology and need for sleep! The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]----------Think Covid's over ? Well no, actually... and we don't want your flu, gastro or cold germs either - so practise safe caching please! Ensure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Clean as you go and cache the countryside Big thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas, in nice safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun for all Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!! [:o)]C'est fini... For now... ... until next time! PS:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GCA1DNA - Great Leap Forward ... or is it backward... it takes an extra day to get to March 29.2.24 The Mega Event of the year. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------And don't forget to put the June Long Weekend in your diary for 2024 too... it'll be fun and funky
Time for another tuesday caching adventure with Mattycat, with no set plan for the day we found ourselves in the northern suburbs, as the day was moving along we had a little time left and decided to check out a letterbox cache or two, quick find at GZ for us todayTFTC Bob From Elsewhere
Owl has been meaning to collect this smilie ever since it popped up, especially as it shows up each time she is on her way to Bible study. Well, today was 'some day' and it was a nice walk in the park to a quick find. Love your work.
Out with Penny today to catch up on two outstanding local letterboxes.
Both winners.
Thank you for the placement and ongoing upkeep.

Clocking up cache finds whilst working towards other challenge goals and milestones!
Mind the snails, there are lots!
Looks like there are people claiming a find on this one, but not signing the logbook

The driving range was in full swing today, with the sound of some nice balls off the tee and the odd thunk of a badly timed swing. The cache was found safe and sound. TFTC
Found during a caching foray heading out along Lefevre Peninsula and across to the north-eastern suburbs, between lunch and dinner events. Thanks for the cache Bob From Elsewhere!

I’ve spent most of the day with interstate visitors, part of which included trying to lure one of them across to geocaching by revisiting some of my favourites. They since been dropped at the airport, and this is my solitary new find for the day on my way home. For complex reasons I wanted it to be a letterbox today, and BFE has come to the rescue with another new perfectly placed cache. And interesting history too. I used to play golf on the nearby Par 3 course many years ago, yet I’d never given this parcel of land much thought. The cache was easily found using an iPhone torch and the full moon, and the cache is in as-new condition.
Thanks for the history and the letterbox Bob From Elsewhere.

Got a bit of mud on my shoes getting to gz but I'm dragging my feet across the oval to clean up. I've been past this location many times but not to the cache vicinity
Thanks Bob From Elsewhere for letterboxing another suburb in the north east area.

Found this with gridge98 after Parkrun in the city on a cold rainy Saturday morning.
A nicely hidden letterbox here, do enjoy finding these new letterboxes popping up every where lately
This morning after parkrun in the city, cournteyrose_ and I headed out to the north eastern suburbs to find a few unfound caches.

Was on the way to the shops this morning and decided it was time for Me to grab this new letterbox as well. Got the other nearby one the other day by and got silver on that one. Today I packed nearby and wandered over to the cache location and only passed one single driving range player which was good. Reached the Cache and extracted the log and was very surprised thag I was signing in silver on this one as well, given the amount of time that had passed. Replaced all as found and wandered back to he car only to find about half a dozen carloads of golfers unpacking to head to the driving range. Phew. Headed off to the shops.
