Heading off on a road trip to Melbourne. Taree is my chosen spot for y first night. It was lovely down by the water this afternoon. Thought this might be a DNL though. Lomandra and my skin do ot get along. I tentatively approached taking care to avoid any "flowers" - those bring me out in blisters. No luck at my first try, but it was at the second spot. Nicely placed where I could get it safely.
Day 2 of my 2.5 weeks road trip up to Brisbane and back to Blue Mountains. Pre-breakfast geofind. Thanks AngelicBeckyBex for this old geocache, one of random PnGs somewhere here or there.
Heading south and homewards to Sydney after a short casual geocaching visit to the Mid North Coast. Stopped by here and a little surprised to see the demise of the pool which still had water when we lived here in the late 80s. We had a picnic lunch below GZ and then headed up for the find. Good one, ABB. TN L a pack of pirate stickers SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
A two night stopover in Taree, so Wollaston and geoandmatt travelled down to meet me for the day today. Had a beautiful lunch in the Main Street then walked down to and along the river when Wollaston mentioned there was a cache nearby (he had done it previously). None of us had a pen, stamp, anything to sign the log with, so we were very happy to see the pen inside the container. Its hard to imagine the pool, but easy to see its foundations. Superb spot for a chill out to sit and watch the river as you say. Thanks AngelicBeckyBex, you picked a top spot for your first hide
Nice fun find. Took a while to find out what silver and green it was talking about. Found with EjsDad and geofamily.
Aussie Kids Adventure Camps came for dive in the green and came out a winner. Thanks nice hide!!
Out with KKZ69 and decided to try our luck with this one while running some errands. Nice quick find, TFTC
TFTC AngelicBeckyBexJust travelling through. Stayed the night and picked this cache up, the silver in the green
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Parked the caravan at the showgrounds then headed out to check out town.TFTC AngelicBeckyBex

Took a bit of a search but found without too much difficulty. Nice spot. Good to get it whilst in Taree. TFTC!!! #2281
Took us about 15-20 min to find, definitely prickly but was still able to find without giving up.
bunadoorian and I came for a drive to Taree today as I had seen the name on signs while travelling in the area but had not come here before. bunadoorian had his hands on this cache first. Well hidden. TFTC and for bringing us here AngelicBeckyBex
It took a bit of a search but Grub62 and I managed to find the cache. What a wonderful place now to enjoy the views. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC.
Searched for 15min and had to give up because of a drunk guy feeling disturbed. Bad experience! Guy aggressive! Frtau
Good hide, not the smallest cache but great spot the old pool. Use to do swimming carnivals here back in the day
Found with Portstevo on our short visit to Taree, nice and easy, love the container! Tftc left some swag as it was empty
The biggest small container I think I've ever found but that only made it easier to find. Thanks for the cache
While waiting for pizza to cook we took a drive and made a pretty quick find. Normally we whinge caches are smaller than the description, but this one may weep be a regular size container. The last finder has placed a logsheet in the cache. Thanks. TFTC.
We found it but unfortunately the log sheet was missing and anything that was in it but we found it quickly and TFTC
TftcNice bit of historyLike the cache container for a water proof option. Bit hard to Camo I'm guessing
A pretty quick find today after we stopped looking where we assumed it would be and actually followed the coords to GZ (we were within 2m). Great sized container and everything was in good condition. Merry Christmas to all those out there in caching land. TNLN TFTC
In Taree due to a work layover and took the opportunity to find a cache as Im on a mission to Plug the Gaps in my Finds by Found Date calendar. Finding this cache helps plug one of those gaps. Walked to the GZ along the banks of the Manning River via the John Churton walkway, which is just begging for a cache trail. Such a pleasant and scenic walk. Cache was quickly located on arrival.Cache and contents in good condition. TFTC. TNLN. SL. TBs Prado Owl , Leap Frog Race - Motorbike and Scarface visited.Find # 1813.
A trip to cache around the mid north coast of NSW via the southern tablelands. TFTC.Nice hide. Quick find.
Outnabout for some solo caching. Its always a great day for caching. TFTC AngelicBeckyBexFor anyone making Geo plans, do yourself a favour and visit Australias only current Geotour at Ballarat while it lasts: https://www.geocaching.com/play/geotours/ballarat-victoria
Checked on my beloved cache.New swag added. People will have to bring a pen as the inner lid wont allow a pen and its more important to keep the precious contents dry!Thank you to the lovely geocache mob who have respectfully and kindly treated my little cache baby.
Day 10. A last minute plan had been hatched to make my way to QOGM. Very little planning had been done but a very rough outline was in place and it was going to be a day by day trip.
After stopping over night in Stockton, it was onwards bound towards Taree.
There was no signs of tampering here and the cache was found in good order and the log was signed.
Thanks AngelicBeckyBex for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

The cache is still definitely at GZ.
Well my trip up to QOGM has officially started and I’m taking the very indirect route up to outback QLD to get there.
It has been a while since I have driven up the Hume to Sydney and some people say that it is a very boring drive but I enjoy it.
So after spending a couple of nights in Lane Cove it was time to hit the M1 and A1 and head north to the last of my target caches The Frying Pan.
After finding the Pan and a little celebration I was then in googles hands to get me to up to Taree for the night.
Finally arrived at my destination Taree and I had to find one cache as it was time for a celebratory beer and to relax.
This one took a bit of searching to find but I eventually came up with the silver thermos and it still had a pen and log sheets inside.
Thanks AngelicBeckyBex TFTC.

Me and my siblings found it the paper and pen are still there and we got a nice walk along the river bank
Nope. Searched possibly 20 metres each side of gz, but no luck. Read the hint, which makes it worse, and then some logs. Saw the photos of it, but no luck for me.
We are staying on the coast to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.
In Taree, and after talking with friends who had recently found this, I reliesed when I found this last week, I had found a different container. So took the opportunity to come and take another look here today. Sure enough, what I had signed last week, was not the actual cache container but something a newbie had thought was the container. I had to expand my search some 10m to find the actual cache container. Have combined the log sheet in the actual thermos container and replaced closer to where GZ should be along with the hint.
Tried to contact CO to update.
Thanks AngelicBeckyBex for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Found while out on a bike ride. Lovely spot. Log signed by our little muggle. Found with Andyboii & Jimmi. TFTC
I absolutely left a log so I assume my poor cache was raided or sabotaged again. I’ll rectify this with new swag asap. Thank you everyone for being patient! I’m so sorry! This is so disappointing. I don’t understand why people are being so horrible.

Pleasant quiet park to visit on a beautiful Winter day. This is my first (beginner) geocache. There is a pen inside but no paper. Wrote a note and now there is pen and paper.
