On my way to the blue mountains for a midweek caching trip. Only a few caches on the way. Then in the Mountains was all over the place between Lawson and Lithgow. Well last minute change after all those puzzles solved last night, I also had to detour via Portland.TFTC Wilbert67
TFTC! Found with the Lithgow Guide unit on a little bit of a misadventure trying to get to the Millpond.
Wow, the coords couldn't be more accurate. However, the logsheet was waterlogged and unusable. We placed another container with new log sheet next to the old one. TFTC Billo4951
Publication of a new AL in Portland prompted me to make a day trip to the town where I spent my early childhood years, a long long time ago. I've been back many times over the years to see relos who lived there, but not in the last five years since the last of them passed away. Not much has really changed since I was last here, except for a lot more caches being placed ... yay!My father worked for a time in the quarry that this cache looks over when he first came to Australia in 1951 ... so it was great to come here. So, thanks for placing a cache here and for the memories it brought to mind of my early life in Portland Billo4951.
Headed out with a plan to clear all the Portland caches from my map. Unfortunately it was too hot to get them all done today but I had a good crack. We'll be back when it's not so hot to finish the missions. Quick find at GZ. Another cache I couldn't sign due to size of the log. TFTC
Got this one easily and it had a nice view!Spending a few days at Lake Wallace with good friends breaking in our new van.Lots of laughs turning Portland into smilies. Considering that we just moved back from Portland Oregon!Tftc
On an overcast Tuesday before Easter Irondale and I went out caching to grab some of the new Portland editions. We had not solved the jigsaws so that will be another forage. In an hour and a half we had found all six caches. This one was a bit watery inside the cache. I replaced it right way up so hopefully the log doesnt get more sogged.

It is, a bit like the contents, not really a container that will last or keep things dry.
A quick find with WaywardWoman while enjoying the view. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
#6869- A quick find with thomo31 while looking at the lake- glistening today in the sun. Thanks
Nice view from GZ, quick find, a ziplock bag would keep the log book dry here, thanks
