Day 7 of my fortnight+ road trip up to Brisbane eand back to Blue Mountains. A leisurely drive up. Avoiding GC power trails. Randomly driving to various spots that take my fancy. Like those NRRT series of hides and Adventure Labs. They simply pop out in my geocaching map. Thanks joojoo57 for a quick find
We had planned to stop at Murwillumbah but the showgrounds was booked out so we had to move along. We stopped at Burringbar, Mooball & Crabbie Creek to do the ALs.Had our lunch break at Burringbar so had time to find the bonus here & also another cache. Thanks joojoo57 for placing the cache
Quick ad lab and quick find here in the park after a wander in the antique shop! Tftc
Found the answers very quickly in this lovely little village and then a quick find at GZThanks for bringing us here
Northern Rivers time with all these events on I had to come down. Of course I had to one was mine. My son was my copilot. We spent the night sleeping in the Ute. I found over 25. Funny part I have no idea with how many Lab caches I found. joojoo57 thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
Davinells, Beardman75 and I are cruising the Northern Rivers in the still Chainsawless Pajero, attending 101 events, possibly chasing an FTF, and generally causing merriment and joy wherever we goAn nice easy find to start the dayThanks joojoo57
Peppa, Beardman75 and I have ventured into Northern NSW for a day of caching and events from the hinterland to the beach and everything in between. In the area for an event so wandered around and answered the questions before heading to GZ and making the find. Thanks joojoo57Find #6341
On completion of the early morning event, I headed off with the little group to help look for this one. Thank you, joojoo57, for placing this bonus cache and the good hide in this lovely little town.
We are in North East NSW for a quick caching trip, mainly concentrating on Adventure Labs, Earth caches and Virtual's as there is no muggle problems with this type of hide. We hope to also try our luck at any other types we get near.We had a great time working our way through this Adventure lab and at the end we were rewarded with a set of coordinates for this cache. We followed the GPSr to GZ and for some reason missed it first round so expanded our search with no luck. We then came back to where the GPS first said and spotted it straight away.Oh well at least we have our name in the log and every thing was returned as found. Many Thanks joojoo57 for the AL and this bonus.
Heading to Pottsville for a couple of days at the beach. Stopped for a coffee and catch up with a work colleague in Burringbar. I had done the AdLab on a previous visit and had the bonus to go. Tried for this one when we first arrived but the park was busy and couldnt search GZ properly. While waiting for coffee saw the coast was clear and so headed back over. Quick find, sign and replace in a bush spot.TFTC joojoo57
Travelling inland in NSW by motorhome. Our goal was to cycle along the new Northern Rivers Rail Trail. We parked our campervan in Murwillumbah and then cycled along the Northern Rivers Rail Trail to Grabbes Creek and back.We passed 26 bridges and 2 tunnels, including the unique Burringbar Range Tunnel - it was fun.On the way we had a lot of fun with the interesting signs, the great nature, the adventure caches and all the other caches. Thanks to all the owners who showed us the interesting places.sayTeam sissifalke
TFTC. Logged as BG & SDW. A couple of cachers come to Murwillumbah for 3 days together trying to get as many smiley faces as possible in that time. Thankfully it is a very rich area of caches to pick from well done to the locals for placing and maintaining.Apologies for the generic postings all logs signed and replaced as found. (NB: someone is very tall on this one)
When I first heard about this Rail Trail I immediately put it on my list of things to do. After a couple of false starts SusanDW and I finally made it to Murwillumbah to start our big adventure. Haven't been on a bike for years but the e-bike made it so easy. All caches were found easily enough, logs signed BG&SDW to save time and space. The trail was amazing, unfortunately we didn't quite make it to the end, which gives us an excuse to come back. Many thanks to the NRRT Cachers for placing and maintaining such a big variety of different caches. Apologies for the cut and paste logs. Nice find after doing the Ad Lab,
Out for a day of caching and dodging rain, with Richmond Lad. After completing the Adventure Lab, We headed to the final for the Bonus cache. A quick find was made and the log signed. TFTC
Ive been planning my ride along NRRT ever since we planned Easter in Kingscliff. Ive done the trail once before and it was fabulous! Back again today to repeat. Mostly AL bonus caches that I prepared for todays ride, and a few traditional geos I either skipped or couldnt find last time. TFTC
A run down to the northern rivers area with Willis007 today sees us taking in a nice cruisey day of caching. It was a slow start with traffic causing a moment or two of issues. We started with a nice trail of puzzle caches in the tweed south area and then worked our way down further south to the little town of Burringbar. It was then over to Pottsville and up to Tugun before then heading home. It was a nice day and a chance to catch up on all happenings and events. All logs were signed and replaced as found, thanks for the hides. We made it to town and what a great little area. I found the local wine cellar and yes, they do wine tastings, must book in for one for the next time we are in town. Did the Adventure lab and then the bonus, thanks, you got me with the crosses, lol. All good with this one.
Bonus AL: NRRT - BurringbarVisiting the Tweed LGA with geopup today to collect caches for a challenge. A quick find here after completing the AL, log signed, all replaced as found. TFTC joojoo57# 10083CheersWillis007
Thanks joojoo for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area. A fitting finale.
We spent way too much at the nearby cheese factory for lunch but we were glad to help the local economy a fun AL. TNLN TFTC
We were visiting Ballina earlier in the day and once that was done we thought lets do a few AdLabs on the way back to Brisbane. The AdLab for this bonus was completed and then we naturally found this cache. Took us a few minutes to pin point the right spot but once we did the cache was soon spotted. All was good with it. TFTC and for taking us on a little tour of Burringbar.
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific. We brought our bikes down from Brisbane and rode this fantastic rail trail from Murwillumbah to the end at Crabbes Creek and the back to Murwillumbah. My Strava showed a total riding distance of 52km On the way down to Crabbes Creek I made multiple stops to find the great NRRT power trail caches and do the many Adventure Labs along the way. It was a great day out caching & riding bikes We stopped in Burringbar for lunch All the AL answers were easily found and bonus was quickly located. A well deserved favourite point from me TFTAL and bonusFound & logged using Cachly for iOS
pedal pedal pedalOn the way south with my new e-bike and visited Murwillumbah to ride the NRRT. Clocked up 55 Kliks today with a return trip from the yard2end and side trips to country villages Lots of traffic along the route. The tunnel was a bit daunting but I breathed thru it and was better prepared on the way back I think there was a DNF somewhere and one steep embankment I declined to scramble up Chatted to heaps of peeps! Swerved around a carpet python Spotted a glider up a tree being harassed by crows Fun morning out that strayed into the afternoon Sublime weather for pedalling (Picked up my shiny new iPad today (20 Nov) in Sin City, so catching up on logs )TFTC NRRT COs and locals
A great cache to do whilst on the rail trail. These little towns are just so beautiful. Stopped at The Barn for some morning tea. It was quite busy on a Saturday morning. TFTC.
Found ok and replaced as found. Explored the area before heading for some lunch. Tftc and for all the work out into doing these series
We made it to Burringbar, solved the Adventure Lab Cache, went and had a great lunch at The Barn, I would recommend there for a meal. After lunch we put in the coordinates for this cache and headed off and Blissbaby soon had it in hand.

I'm having a week in Coolie and today's geo-excursion took me south to Murwillumbah and the Tweed Valley. A straightforward find here after completing the Burringbar AL. All is good with the cache
Thanks for the AL and this cache ... I wouldn'thave stopped here but for them.

After a morning of helping out at our local school, I had a plan to attend a gig in Miami in the afternoon down south, so i jumped In The van and made my way south of the border to pick up a few caches and complete a few adventure labs.
After finding a spot to park the van I soon found my way to ground zero, where the cache was quickly discovered.
Log extracted and my mark made I returned the cache to its safe hiding place and headed back to the van ready for the next adventure.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

A friend was having a surprise milestone birthday party and a trip to Brisbane was required to attend.
After accidentally (on purpose), booking my flights a few days earlier, it was time to do some pre party caching around town.
After a successful dinner event last night, (a not so successful State of Origin game though from what I hear), it was time to head south. The Gold Coast, Byron Bay, and everything in between!
Another adventure lab completed and another bonus to find. This one didn’t take too long and I was at an advantage here.
Thanks joojoo57 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

As a member of NRRTCachers and the arranging and placement of the cachers, awaited until the cachers along the great Rail Trail had all been found. Log signed.
The AL gave a fairly comprehensive tour of the town and there were no surprises when we saw where the Bonus was. What was surprising was how exposed the hide was. A gift to find but surely for safety it wouldn't be meant to be that glaringly obvious. If this was our hide we'd raise it a few centrimetres to give it some cover. And right or wrong, that's where it is now. TFTC joojoo57.
I found this bonus cache although not the AL as I actually own it,this one I thought is very exposed, will it survive.TFTC
This was our coffee stop for the morning. The town was packed with riders and walkers.
Today was the first ruzzelz ride for 2023. The word was passed around to the fellow SEQ geo-cachers that the plan was to raid Murwillimbah area and complete the NRRT caches and any close by during the weekend.
A large contingent of riders assembled at the nominated starting point. There were road bikes, mountain bikes, electric bikes and many a hybrid as well.
A very enjoyable day was had by all and many thanks to the NNRT CO's for placing the caches and providing the focus for our group over the weekend.

With an invite from Ruzzelz to spend the weekend in the Tweed Valley exploring the new rail trail, I found myself camping at the showgrounds and heading off along the trail this morning.
“Ruzzlez Riders” consisted of ruzzelz, Herbz, Brother Colin, teamdfl, Beardman75, Que Sera, Pprime (P`), karicka, Captain Terror and Davidwazza.
The trail was excellent; well-formed and fairly shady, with great scenery, awesome tunnels, cute bridges, and interesting little towns along the way, and very popular indeed! I thoroughly enjoyed the day out, and I’m pleasing to come back with my partner to explore the area further. I ended up cycling just over 60km today, having enjoyed breakfast in Murwillumbah, morning tea in Burringbar, and lunch in Mooball. Thanks for organising it, ruzzelz, and TFTC, joojoo57. =^.^=

Ruzzelz invited for a ride on this newish railtrail.

Teamdfl & I had planned to ride the Northern Rivers Rail Trail (NRRT) last weekend and then Ruzzelz started organizing another of his group rides, so we changed our trip to join the bigger group.
In the end there was about a dozen people (and two dogs) in our group. The plan was that we wouls work together to find the Adventure Labs on the way south and do the other caches on the way north. That idea sort of happened as some people just could not ride past an unfound cache on the way south. A couple were left unfound for the return trip but not many.
On the return ride we did stop at Burringbar Pub for a meal and drinks. I would recommend a stop here.
Overall, a great day out. I ended up cycling a little over 60km.
All caches were in good condition with dry log books.
Thanks for the adventure Ruzzelz.

Overnight, a trip south was taken staying with family at Robina, which allowed me the opportunity to join an organised ride along the Northern Rivers Rail Trail (NRRT) starting in Murwillumbah. I started the day with Kirra parkrun at Coolangatta, and after meeting the group, we spent the day riding the 24 km NRRT route through terrific scenery with near-perfect weather. A highly recommended experience!
Ruzzelz' Riders consisted of a reasonably sized group: [Beardman75](https://coord.info/PRG2ADN), [Brother Colin](https://coord.info/PR5Q03Z), [Captain Terror](https://coord.info/PR2A296), [Herbz](https://coord.info/PR2CGFP), [karicka](https://coord.info/PRV3G5), [La Kedi](https://coord.info/PR1FP4H), [Pprime (P`)](https://coord.info/PR3YKQ6), [Que Sera](https://coord.info/PRFWTKP), [ruzzelz](https://coord.info/PR10CCB), and [teamdfl](https://coord.info/PR3F3HD). The NRRT took us through Stokers Siding, Burringbar, Mooball, and finally ending in Crabbes Creek, and we then turned around and returned back the same way with a few detours to side-geocaches as we passed (which likely added the extra unexpected distance to my ride). We set out on this ride departing from the Murwillumbah trailhead at 09:00 hr, and the total distance that I ended up riding was 62.9 km across an elevation of 898 m, with a moving time of 3:50 hr, as per my [Strava record](https://www.strava.com/activities/9147471600). We arrived back at around 15:15 hr, although we did stop for a coffee and drink break in Burringbar and Mooball respectively.
Several Adventure Labs were completed during today's ride along the NRRT, which included:

Although we had agreed to grab the physical geocaches on our return back along the NRRT, we were able to grab physical geocaches that were nearby to Adventure Lab Locations. As we were stopping nearby and completing this Adventure Lab, I decided to back track a little and grab this cache. I was initially searching one particular small tree when then I searched another, and soon made the cache find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, and we signed the logbook as "RR" for Ruzzelz' Ride/Riders. I did think it was a little exposed, so hopefully this one lasts (or I guess it has lasted since its publish). A busy picnic area nearby too. Thanks [joojoo57](https://coord.info/PR81QV1) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Saw a post for a bike ride along the NRRT from Ruzzelz and i was super excited to join . We signed the logs with RR for Ruzzlez Ride. I absolutely loved the ride along here and we stopped along the way for refreshments where the local towns are flourishing. There were so many people out on bikes and we saw such a big variety of them. Great that you can hire electric bikes here. Loved the tunnels the bridges and the great scenery. Thanks joojoo57 for the fun Lab and for taking us here for a great day out and thanks to Ruzzelz for organizing. I hope to get back again soon
Another excellent cache for us to find on the NRRT along with a bunch of other cyclists/cacheists today.
We'll post a longer completion log at our last find of the day. TFTC.

On our way south again to support our daughter during her Chemo treatment. Stopping at Murwillumbah for a few days and looking at doing the NRRT. We have planned to do this over two days, one so that we can enjoy the ride and two because we have the time. Today is day one and we are concentrating on the puzzles already solved and any traditionals along the way, leaving the AD Lab for tomorow, however; I couldn't help myself and managed to squeeze in a few.
Thanks joojoo57 for the caches.

Total Cache Finds 14283,
A group of cyclists who were enjoying the trail were stopped right where we needed to be having what seemed to be an extended break. Krcamber and I decided ro go explore the antiques store ansd complete some of the others in town before they finally moved on and we got sign the log.
After completing the AL, reezielou and I realised that we would have to wait until a big bunch of muggles moved on before we could make the grab here. It’s certainly busy here this morning with loads of people out enjoying the trail. We collected some of the others in town and then we’re finally able to stealthily retrieve this one. TFTC!
On my first crack at looking for the hide I thought the cache had gone AWOL. It felt like there was nothing good to hide a cache on and all I looked like was a weirdo hanging around the toilets. I decided to walk away and find another cache.
Upon my return I decided to give it one more crack and I could see the hide from 10 metres away. It’s funny how just a quick change of perspective can highlight things. tftc

Things where getting a little wet and the light was fading when searching for this "Bonus".
But a little bit of perseverance, cache was signed and replaced.

Pleasant little village and a nice stop along the NRRT. Was only here yesterday grabbing one of the Middle of the Road series, so a bit surprised to find myself back in the same spot. TFTC
**FTF** We found this on an excursion down south to check out the NRRT and the ALs placed along it. Another great little find in a quaint little village. A favourite point from us for the location. TFTC joojoo57
