Reperio 19:03Having had to make an impromptu trip to Newcastle today to attend jury service the next day, I decided to make the most of things by finding a few local caches. This was a very ironic area for me to find a cache, as we used to live in the house right behind GZ. They have since added a path through here and the bench since we lived here, which is nice to see. Me and my friends were so excited when we found this one. Its our first geocache! We come to the reserve all the time and we never knew there was something hidden under a seat that we always go to sit at! It was such a thrill when we spotted it, thanks for putting it there!

Took the dog for a quick walk with the aim of this and one other cache (no gear for all those trees). All quiet here and despite GPS wanting me at the fence I soon had the cache in hand. Log is getting full so could use an update.

Great little quick find. The log book had been jammed into the cache a little to tightly so engineered some tweezers from twigs to get it out. TFTC!

Fortunately the council gardeners had finished in this area. Thief noise was good camouflage. Found quickly. Thanks for showing me this quilt park.

Didn't realise this park existed but it is a very nice park. With good coordinates had cache in hand quickly. Thanks IminYaShed for the cache.

As I parked the car I realised that this was close to a now archived cache that was a nightmare for me to find.

600m from home.... we couldn't not get out of PJ's and go for this after 10pm!
We parked and set off into the dark with headlights. 'I hope it isn't on one of the back fences' I muttered, but was glad to see a different structure appear out of the shadows.....

We saw this one get published and decided we had to go get it, 650m from home, We can’t miss an FTF that close! I grabbed my shoes and ran out the door, hopped in the car and soon arrived at the parking.

We were concerned it was going to be on the back of someones fence but as we kept walking another structure appeared out of the shadows…

Found very quickly. I was also hoping to be a first to find but no luck on that nevertheless, it was a nice walk in the dark, and I came across it very quickly, and was glad it was not a fence
