Went for a walk today to collect a few caches that are between my home and that of Geo dad (Cliff5009). Aiming to walk the circuit and collect them with he sun shining and a nice gentle breeze. Hard way to spend a winter’s afternoon in Qld.
Cache 2 of the day.
Wandered across from the dog park, looking for Koalas on the way. Looks like there might be one or two in this area. Plenty of birdlife too.
Got to GZ. Aimlessly roamed for a bit until I worked it out.
Okay, got it, signed and returned. Cache is in good condition!
Thanks for placing this one.

In continuing with my personal challenge, the multi challenge and the current HQ challenge, I was out to collect a few caches in the Morayfield area. This has become one of my new areas for caches, an area that I can now concentrate on to keep my challenges alive.

I had just been to a cache around the corner so this one was next on the list. An easy find even though it was a little walk in the scrub.

With the log signed and cache replaced as found, I was off to continue my day, thanks.

When logging a drive-by geocache, it's essential to follow proper geocaching etiquette and provide meaningful information about your experience. Here's an example of a geocache log for a drive-by cache:

Found It!

We were driving through the area and spotted this cleverly hidden cache along the way. It was a perfect opportunity for a quick stop and find. The coordinates were spot on, leading us right to the cache container.

I must say, the camouflage on this cache was impressive! It blended seamlessly with the surroundings, making it a challenge to spot at first. However, our keen eyes didn't fail us, and we managed to uncover the hidden treasure.

The logbook inside the container was in good condition, and we happily signed our names and added a little note. We also took a moment to appreciate the creative container design and the effort put into making this cache stand out.

Thank you to the cache owner for placing this drive-by cache and adding a touch of excitement to our journey. We're always on the lookout for caches like this, which provide an opportunity to explore new places even when we're on the move.

Having dropped the partner at the airport at stupid o’clock I had a couple of hours to cache before work…

My second visit today, after having to abandon Dagwood as GZ was overrun with muggles…

A quick find as I’d spotted the container on my first visit…

Thanks Waz and Vik

Pheew! That was a close call! I decided to check my emails before I head to work and sure enough some new caches and two of them are only a few k’s from home. I immediately alerted Alyce and we raced out the door and jumped in seperate cars, since I have to go to work afterwards.

After a short drive we arrived at a suitable spot to leave the cars and wandered over towards GZ. To our surprise their was plenty of muggles around and I’m sure we got a few odd looks while rummaging around.

We had a good feeling where the cache would be, but something caught our eye while we were searching elsewhere, so we wandered over to investigate and sure enough, it was the cache. Woohoo!

Thanks for bringing us here.
