Day 5 of my fortnight+ road trip up to Brisbane and back to Blue Mountains. A leisurely drive up. Avoiding GC power trails. Randomly driving to various spots that take my fancy. Thanks 61800686 for this geocache. Even abandoned and forgotten structures are great for hides. Liked the cache shape.
We are having an overnight at Maclean staying in the showgrounds. This is our last night on the road before returning to Port Macquarie.Today we are caching in the Maclean & Yamba area, there have been some amazing scenic views over the ocean while on our tour of the area. Thanks for placing this cache 61800686
The Botero girls were leaving as I approached and no doubt they wondered why anyone would want to sit here. I managed to make the grab when their heads were turned.TFTC. I love these versions.
bunadoorian and I were chasing new LGA's on our way home from QLD. New LGA's are what I have been after on our trip to QLD. I loved the cache container. TFTC and for bringing us here 61800686.
Ghost tennis and opposite simply funerals. How appropriate. Thanks for the entertainment and TFTC.
Thanks Ngaambul for noticing. The new container is expected to be delivered by Thursday 28th May. As soon as it arrives I will reinstate this cache
Ghost tennis is ghosting us! You are right @Ayeitsely, this one has been stolen. I noticed glass from the lean-to had been broken further and, I found the remnants of my swag on the ground. No sign of the container or log so a new one is being ordered. Fair to say some little vandals have found it. Estimated downtime: a few weeks, check back soon
Had no luck - even with extra help from a previous finder, perhaps it was stolen?
Nice quick find. The tennis court needs a bit of maintenance. Waiting a long time for the next game. Cache signed. TFTC
We were having lunch at the nearby cafe and I was with friends who hadn't had my "geocaching tutorial". When I pointed out that there was one close by they were eager to help me find it. It is always the case that it is found by the newbie! Thanks 61800686 that was fun! Log is looking good and the SWAG is still waiting for finders.
Thank you for the notes about the damp log! Replaced the log and added tiny SWAG for the next three finders
With a challenge cache in Brisbane at the front of mind I headed south for the long weekend with a few very distinct goals in mind.Having fought my way through the traffic last night I pulled up stumps in Ballina and arose for the short hop to the target area this morning. After finding a safe spot to park the car I made my way quickly to ground zero and quickly located the cache safely tucked away waiting to be found.Log signed and safely returned to its hiding place I returned to the car and made my way to the next adventure. A big thanks to the cache owner for Making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Found it!! Log signed and replaced. Container intact. Log paper quite dampTFTC ?? ??? FairyNice & LM | Yamba Find # 11
Hubby and I are in Maclean for a few days break. Its a nice morning to be out for a walk. I love the cache container. Ive never seen one like that before. Everything is ticketyboo here. TFTC
Thanks for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area.
No, we didn't need to sit here for long. Mr. Herbz soon put his hand on the nifty container. TFTC
Quick find here on a detour from hwy for fuel...nice revisit..haven't been to Maclean for a few years...tftc
Always great to be able to nab a cache on a coffee break. Grandson very pleased to have found this one. TFTC

Well my trip up to QOGM has officially started and I’m taking the very indirect route up to outback QLD to get there.
It has been a while since I have driven up the Hume to Sydney and some people say that it is a very boring drive but I enjoy it.
So after spending a couple of nights in Lane Cove it was time to hit the M1 and A1 and head north to the last of my target caches The Frying Pan.
After finding the Pan and a little celebration I was then in googles hands to get me to up to my next destination.
Spent the night in Taree so now back on the M1 and A1 to head to Byron Bay for the most Easterly cache and a few LGA’s along the way.
I don’t think that there will any tennis matches played here in the near future.
Great little cache container as well.
Thanks 61800686 TFTC.

We're at Jabour Park Grafton for a day or so, and decided on a drive up to Maclean where we found your cache today 10 September 2023 12:07 pm , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC 61800686

A quick find while enjoying a break from the sameness of the M1. It's sad that ghost tennis is a leading spirt in so many country towns these days.
Thanks for placing this cache.
Thanks for placing this cache.
The cache is in great condition. It was in the wrong location so has now been returned to its original hiding place. Can say that, sometimes I do forget where a cache came from. Council may have bumped it whilst mowing, who really knows? Safe and ready for the next find, swag added.
In Yamba for a few days and first stop was Botero coffee in Maclean. A short walk from cafe and cache was found and signed. TFTC
A few days in ILUKA with the grand daughter, not the best of weather, but we are managing to keep her entertained and she likes Geocaching.
Came across here due to the rain in Yamba and grabbing the last two we hav in the town
Total Caches Found 14122

We were in town for the Highland Gathering and Mum and the Grandparents decided to stop at the nearby Cafe for a drink after watching the parade. A quick check of the map found a cache nearby so Dad and the eldest Geoson decided to go for a walk.
We found GZ easily enough but retrieving and replacing the container in amongst the stream of muggles in town for the gathering took a while. Good thing the shade and the breeze off the river made for a pleasant spot to wait.
This is one of the coolest containers we have seen in a while, and though the swag inside was tempting we didn't have many swaps on us so we contented ourselves with a single item.
Thanks for the cache and the distraction!

Doing a few caches around Maclean area and catching up with a friend. The friend says I will meet you at this cafe and I have no idea where this cafe is. I say, I’ll just grab a cache first and then meet you there. What do you know the cache that I’m meant to be looking for is right near the cache. Win win

Quick find at work surprised I hadn’t seen this one with the amount of coffee I drink TFTC
Took a detour into Maclean as we head south to collect a couple of newer caches. No ghosts playing tennis today so the find was made fairly quickly. TFTC.
Arrived at GZ and the weather was showery, so I needed a quick find. No ghosts today either. Found cache and signed the log. TFTC
