Logs
Forgot our pen again. The stump is rotting so popped it at the bottom of the stump under a bit of wood
A nice quick find, though the container was slightly buried when we found it. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are heading South and home again. Today we cruised around Hamilton for a wee bit, in sunny weather.Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
I was passing here and noticed some DNFs on this one so thought I would stop and look. The stump that held the cache has been dislodged with most of it down the slope some distance. After scratching around in the dirt and debris I was able to locate the cache. Have placed it back at the base of the stump under a piece of wood. CO might want to visit and place as desired. But it is definitely still there.
Found on the ground rehind as what i thought matched hint but you may wish to check tftf aroha and happy caching
Spent a good while poking around all the nearby holes. Was a pretty steep bank nearby that I just about took a trip down after grabbing onto a dodgey rotten branch. Was struggling to get the GPS to settle when after a long search something out of place finally caught my eye TFTC
Over on this side of town for a few caches centred on the new ones in Donny Park. This one was just a short walk to another entrance to the park.Took quite a bit of looking around for likely spots while also trying not to end up at the bottom of the slope.Eventually found it with a lot of help from the previous log. Caught a glimpse of something that looked out of place and, although smaller than expected, that was indeed it. TFTC
So this is one of those caches that makes me think I am mad to Geocache. Clambering around the bank looking at possible hiding spots I kept coming back to one slightly rotten tree. As I used it to assist me back up the bank about to give up it split in two with a large part of the trunk falling. I am OK and out popped the cache so I guess thats a win Replaced as best I could hidden in the remaining tree and sort of hole. TFTC
In Hamilton for a few days and took the opportunity to get a couple of caches (no time for any more). I made hard work of this by doing a bit of unnecessary bank scrambling. Thanks for the cache.[1842]
Torch recommend here, was pushed way in so returned covering with with needles etc...TFTC
This one had us looking everywhere & were going to give up but read some more logs & had another look. I found where buzzybb had been looking.
Had a good look around where we thought it might be, with no luck. Re read some previous logs, kimbathelion then had another look where I had previously looked and found it. Yey. Tftc
What a lovely story, it's so nice to hear about your journey finding each other and discovering Geocaching along the way.
We were keen to come and look for this one on our trip to Hamilton today and after a nice breakfast nearby we made this our first find of the day.
The weather today was very wet and as we approached GZ the rain got quite heavy so we were pleased to have a bit of shelter at GZ.
It didn't take us too long to locate the cache and what a special and appropriate cache it is, a perfect container to match the story.
A really great way to start our day.
Thanks Jagersmum.

Took a bit of a search, but a re-read of the clue narrowed things down

The cache was located quickly with the headtorch. The hint should probably read "dead tree" not tree. TFTC

My gps was bouncing around here and was showing another 12mts away when I saw a spot worth investigating and sure enough it held what I was looking for.
Thanks for setting this up here . I wasn't aware of this little park before now.

First look didn’t produce a find. Checking logs gave some hints and I went back for a better look using fingers. Cute little cache. Lovely story
It was in the first place I looked but I didn't look hard enough so came back after checking the logs. TFTC.
A well written tribute to FMZ Jägersmum!
Very interesting to hear how your relationship evolved !
Really good hiding place .....the cache was much tinier than I was expecting....so I felt in " there " about 6 times before a positive result!
A tiny torch on my keyring was a great help.
Lovely little romantic grove here.
Favourite Point!

Shame I was so far away when this cache was published. It was definitely a lovely surprise. We have had some great adventures and the trip to the HQ anniversary event and giga in Canada was filled with a lot of fun and moments of "you really ought to find this cache, it's important" when you didn't know at the time. I know we have a lifetime of adventures ahead geo and otherwise! TFTC!!! ️
Nice one and well dedicated! GPS spot on despite of heavy tree coverage!
Road trip with Gorby for the "18th" Event in Hamilton. We had some time to pick up a few hides. This was one of them.
I`m logging this cache as my 10179 find.

Came down to Hamilton for a day of caching. We started at Hampton Downs and gradually worked ourselves south. I'm with tramyard in his green 4wd buggy, great little car and economical.
This was a target cache today for me seeing as I gave the C.O a bit of a hand in setting this up. The words to FMZ are awesome! Hope he appreciates the sentiment....lol. I too have done a tribute cache to him and he has done so for me. Always nice to be acknowledged, thanks Jes, great to come and get this cache, co-ords spot on, tramyard made the find on this one, then we crossed the road and wandered down to the river for a cache. Keep the caches coming, look forward to doing a few more of your caches as time permits. A FP from me.

We planned to attend the event tonight, and headed over to Hamilton for a few hours caching first. I'm slowly working on the Jasmer Challenge and didn't have a 'hidden in March 2023" cache yet, so decided to look for this one. Plus there's a pretty romantic story in the description, so I thought it was rather cute! Love the cache container - so appropriate - a favourite from me
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… It turned out to be a good weather day for another drive into the Waikato. It almost felt like the summer we were supposed to have…
Aww… I just got ‘warm fuzzies’ reading the description. What a really nice tribute, and an equally appropriate cache container! Thanks Jägersmum. TFTC.

Was passing the area today and had time to stop for this one. Wandered around a bit before something caught my eye. Now off to the rugby.
Very tricky to find. Certainly a lot harder than difficulty of 1. Thanks for the placement. Feel really lucky to have actually found it.
Days off. Rushed out to GZ to find a car I'd seen before. Got to GZ to see folk looking. I went to an area and found it straight away. For a joint ftf tftc #[FTF]438
Joint {FTF} with psychrn (haha sorry can’t remember your new handle). Jandals are not really geocaching attire but nonetheless we ventured off for this find. A short search of the bank area before we had company. TFTC. Hopefully next time will be wearing suitable footwear.
