Nice walk around the gardens collecting the information for this multicache and the adventure lab. The cache was then found and opened easily. TFTC!
On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. Day 35/74, Sunday. My mini-holiday to Tasmania! Just four days but better than nothing. Today I spent the whole day in Hobart and nearby areas. I did not end up with many finds today, well some lab caches and some "real caches" here and there. I mainly just hung around. This was otherwise a quick and easy multi, but the code... and the lock... even if I had the correct code (I tried several other options too, though), I struggled to get the lock open. Then I contacted someone who previously found the cache and got a confirmation for the code (which originally was my second interpretation) was correct, and focused on that only. Finally the lock cooperated. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Vaasa, Finland! Logged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).
[8951] Holiday in Australia, day 2. Today we arrived in Hobart to start our round trip on Tasmania. We used the good weather to explore the Botanical Gardens, enjoyed dome icecream and played this multi cache. The final container was found easily, but to find out the right combination for it was a bit tricky and afforded two walks through the Japanese Garden. At the end we signed the logbook and picked up a trackable. TFTC!
In Hobart Town from the north west via Gt Lakes caches here and there and an intended swag bag of finds in and around the city. We're intending to spend time here today for AdLabs and this multi .......... not to mention coffees at the restaurant. Just beat closure of the area for a wedding in this area, so we timed it beautifully. Near GZ, bird cages need counting carefully, so be prepared. Well thought out, and enjoyed using the code at the end. Thankyou for your work. Gave the log a new bag, as it was getting wet again. Favourite awarded.
Partner found it the second I suggested it we give up. The coordinates don't match up well, so the suggestion elsewhere in the comments to keep walking around and looking was essential.(Unfortunately...no pen!)
This was a really enjoyable multi that we completed during a visit to the Botanical Gardens. The multi helped us to visit some of the best parts of the gardens. Our favourite parts were the Lily Pads and surrounds and of course the Japanese Gardens.Everything worked smoothly. Once found, the numbers in and we were signing the log.It was hot, so we were glad to visit the sub arctic room after completing the cache.TFTC and greetings from Melbourne Awarding a favourite point for showing us around the gardens.
Thanks to this cache, I visited some very nice spots and beautiful places in Tassie and I enjoyed another perfect day on my holidays in Australia. I love that garden, great time spent here.
Well I obviously cant number either. Solved ages ago, but needed to walk through to get combination. TFTC and exercise. Happy New Year
TFTC! A lovely guide through the gardens on a beautiful day. Found with Iaminis
Today we rode some borrowed bikes around Hobart to explore the area more and find some caches a bit further away from our hotel. Some interesting history and great views. Great way to exercise and celebrate a birthday. TFTC
Thanks for the Multi. Cache and contents are in excellent condition. I had to walk around the Japanese Garden three times to get all the lanterns (birdhouses). Fortunately I was correct and got first time.
Took quite a while to find - very good hide. The catch on the cache's a bit difficult to open, and the coords are a bit out, but just have a stroll around and you'll find it. TFTC!
Found with McAdies and Jelly_Bean14.We are on holidays in Tasmania. What a great spot and thanks for placing a cache here for us to find.
Found with McAdies and Geo_Eddie.I am having a great time visiting Tasmania.Thank you for placing this geocache for us to find today!
Found on our Trip to Tasmania. What a beautiful spot here.Took ages to get the cache open even when we were sure we had the right numbers. Turns out a bit of the plastic bag was stuck in the edge stopping it open easily. Finally opened! Thanks for placing the cache for us to find today.
New log now in cache, please note it's still working, you will need the same number to get in and the same number to also close the cache. Thanks and good luck!
There have been comments that this cache is too difficult, so I'm changing up some of the hints to make it more accessible, Thank you.
Hello wakeupsleepy thank you for the cache
Well most of the information was easily found.
But the information didn't get me to GZ so I manipulated the information to what I think you were after and soon had the cache in hand.
The information to open the cache took a bit of guesstimate to get the number required.

Thanks to the co for their help. We got there in the end by ourselves. Beautiful garden and great walk. Thanks
Thanks for the multi.
Have been here so many times, some of the info was already known to me.
Finished collecting what I needed this afternoon, but then had to try a few different options at GZ - in the end used a PAF - ah ok, cache was then able to be opened and log signed.

Hi wakeupsleepy
My car was being serviced today so made a dash out to the Gardens in the courtesy car
This place is always good for a visit
Even with Garden Workers just below GZ, the find was made without them noticing me
Signed the log and Sainted the cache at 1117 hours
Log is damp and a little hard to write on, otherwise all good with the cache
Thanks for the exercise and another Botanical experience
Cheers OldSaint

Had a need to find a cache today, and this one I thought was a candidate. I had pre solved the location (correctly as it turned out) and had to simply work out the code and get the cache.
Eventually had all the information required and was able to open the cache container

Today we found The Royal Botanical Gardens on our travels. We are back in Tassie to attend a charity function this weekend and bonus! We get to go caching as well. A lovely walk in the sunshine this morning, when we had been expecting rain!
Thanks wakeupsleepy for showing us these gorgeous gardens & being part of our geocaching fun.

TFTC! Turns out I’m not very good at counting but we got there in the end - very fun little hunt
Whilst on my way into town i decided to have another go at this one that was a blue face on my map that just had to be rectified. I reached out for a hint on where i was going wrong and with a friendly wee nudge i found myself back at GZ to a reasonably Muggle-Free spot, not bad considering it was a perfect 18oC day in Winter
I waited it out for a perfect moment to go and have another crack at a set of 2 combinations to see if it would work for me this time. With the new "advice" it sure did and i was in then i was SL away from GZ so no Muggles would catch me there.
SL at 11:32 on TGIF 16 June 2023.
{The walk through the lovely Japanese Garden to make 100% sure i had the right numbers before attempting to gain access to the log book, was pleasant as this garden is so pretty and well worth another wander through [^]}
Replaced the log and the cache is ready for the next finder
TFTMC and for bringing me here again, wakeupsleepy

if it's one thing Claire loves, it's a botanical garden, and one thing dad loves is a walk-around geocache, so here we have something to make everyone happy!
Some of the clues we felt were a little confusing. For "C," you should SUBTRACT rather than add 2 from the year on the plaque, and for the number of rocks needed to get the combo, you need to count the rocks at BOTH entrances. Lucky for us we had the benefit of EeePees' log of 5/29, or we may never have gotten to the logsheet. But we got the thing open and signed the log just as the garden was about to close (though I did sneak into the Antarctica exhibit on the way out!).
We were feeling pretty cheerful after the last-minute find and took a great family photo by the fountain. Thanks for placing.

Found with guesswork.
Unlocked with a MAF.
Q&A a bit too ambiguous at times.
In hindsight, I should have just counted Snow White's dwarfs, and signs of the zodiac; or days of the week and months of the year. Oh well

Myself and Goose called at this one as we were in the area today to do a bit of a clean up of the area, I was plesaed of a bit of help with this one as my counting must be off today.
Well this weekend I was treated to TWO days caching as someone was 60 on the Sunday but I couldn't miss out on my normal caching Saturday.
Thanks for the cache.

We had planned a meet up with Endeavour3 from Norfolk Island today and because they were chasing some AL’s in the Botanical Garden, we decided to also do this multi and then have a nice coffee and scones at the cafe!
We had done some leg work previously and had double checked some answers and with no checker it’s hard to know how good your counting is, but at our GZ we found what we wanted! Endeavour3 did the combination once he worked out how to find the digits and the next minute we had the 2 log books! Of course I opened #2 first….dddrrrr….. log signed and replaced how we found it! Lovely location and a nice day with good company!
TFTM and Cache.

I was doing the Garden Gambol adventure lab and ran into membsec. I joined them to make the find and write my name in the log. Interesting water feature nearby. TFTC

The stroll around the gardens was pleasant. We calculated gz to be at a likely location, but were unable to locate the cache. Thanks for the cache even though we didn't find it.
I saw this new one pop up and decided to go for it today, Saturday 25 March 2023 at 11:35.
Got to the lovely botanical gardens and did the sums to find where the cache is at.
That done i saw what it was then went into the Japanese Garden to sight the rocks and grey birdhouses.
All chock full of confidence i went to the cache to suffer the same fate as the FTF'ers before me.
I tried this then that and nothing was working. 5 or 6 times i returned to GZ which lucky for me was abandoned each time ... even on a Saturday [:o] Now that IS lucky!
Deflated, i decided to call it but when i was driving home i had an epiphany, naturally coz i was on my way home. It was either 1 of 2 things i thought of. The 1st being waaaay to sinister to be real but #2 is more plausible. That will be for next time.
TFT Challenge anyway, wakeupsleepy, i am hanging to return to GZ for another go, but i'm not getting my hopes up ha ha

Triple team *FTF* . Mr W found GZ easy enough but then the fun began. No correct codes gathered from numerous recounts of objects so a reinforment turned up and still no luck. A further call for more reinforcements went out and finally the log was signed. A triple first to find with gooseandegg and TeamSwampy. TFTM
Well that was an interesting afternoon. After a call from whitewebbs I dashed into assist with the count. We had a couple of options for the combination but none worked. We counted again and found one more birdhouse, hidden - it turns out that wasn't required though.
We called upon swampy to bring explosives to put us out of our misery. He came fairly quickly (without explosives ) and did a recount, ending up the same as us.....but something else attracted our eye and then there were discussions of 'what if....'
Yes that was it!
A joint FTF with whitewebbs and swampy at 4.15pm.
Thanks wakeupsleepy for an entertaining couple of hours

Joint FTF with Whitewebs and Goose. Got a message from one of them asking for tools / box cutter, hacksaw, angle grinder, plasma cutter, oxy-acetylene, arc gouger, bolt cutters.
None of them available at the moment so we retraced our steps and I found extra bits which helped with the code but I counted more.
After trying a few permutations I had the cache open and found 2 empty logs.
Thanks for the extra cache and the *FTF*
