Today, the weather is not bad but a little windy.I enjoyed catching up on some Domain and Sandy Bay caches for a day. It was a lovely parking closer to GZ.It looks so cute. When I opened the door, the bugger jammed the door, and I tried to fix it up, so I walked to the house, but no one was home...CO need maintenance if it can.Signed the log by stamp.

very excited to know about this library, though!flipped through many books wondering if one was hollowed out and was actually glad that wasnt the case - especially the beautiful hardcover of Gone With the Wind!

12-Jul-24
Found it! A fun one! Thanks

This is only my second look at the Street Library series, with my first attempt being a dud as I felt very conspicuous outside a cafe with lots of muggle bystanders watching me. I had my suspicions as to where the cache/log might be but RoadieM (my caching buddy) wouldnt believe me. After searching in all the other places, I persevered and came up trumps. Yeh! So pleased my hunch was correct at this one not sure if all the caches in this series are the same? Thanks for the fun peaches deserves a fav point.

tassietan has tried to find previous street library caches and has come up empty handed. We thought this was going the same way, and in all honesty I was ready to give up. But tassietan persisted and finally had an ahaa moment and the cache was found. Thanks for another fun cache peaches.

Trying to get to a big milestone before the end of the month. Added this one to the list to do today after Kingston Parkrun. Took me longer to open the library (door has seized) than it did to find the cache. TFTC always like this type

Having found one of the two remaining caches in the series earlier today, we decided to look for this cache. Again this was a quick find of another well presented cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks peaches for the cache.

Have been to a couple of theses caches. Love street libraries and apart from finding and signing the log I exchanged a book at this location.

Well, that took a while. I was surprised to see this library in the garden of a childhood friend from 40 odd years ago. Wonder if the home is still in the family?
Found after a few minutes searching. Unfortunately I had no pen so didn't get to sign. I won't Babblon any more. Thanks for the cache. Phil

Cute spot

10-Jun-23
On the way back up from Kingston, I decided to go via Taroona mainly to visit this cache.
The house that hosts the Library must have been hosting an AFL party as the nature strip was full of cars. I managed to work between some and get to the cache and find the log book without anybody noticing due to the large trees

Found today while out caching with Zozetta. We began the day at Sandy Bay, then made our way down to Taroona, then Bonnet Hill, Kingston Beach, and then back to Taroona for another multi, finding some good quality caches along the way. We found nine traditionals, three multis and one mystery, ending up with a total of thirteen finds and, unfortunately, four DNFs. A fun day out with many new locations discovered.

Zozetta and I had each found one these before so it was a quick find.

Thanks for the cache pêaches!

TFTC and TFTS! Great series, unique, well-executed. Quick find this time! The Carlton St one still has me on DNF though…

I knew this would take a while so I came prepared. Nice and quiet here so I could search in peace. I even swapped a book!
Thanks for the cache

This took a lot longer than it should, searched high, low, everywhere. And then the penny dropped. Great hide. Fav point. TFTC

19-Apr-23
Thanks for the cache pêaches.
This is the first in this series that I have had a look for - I was sort of in the area today, so thought I would try my luck. This is a nice quiet street, and a small library meant a short search. The cache was revealed, and after adding my name to the log, the cache was replaced.

After grabbing the Lansdowne Crescent hide i decided to swing down south a bit and grab this one before making my way back to the northern HBA suburbs for 2 more newies Wink

Down the Southern Outlet to Kingston then back towards the Shot Tower, onto the road to where this one is hidden then i parked the Blue-Wren Colored Rocket-Ship close by then i made my way over to another cool outdoor creation filled with all kinds of literature.

Found almost immediately this time and the log was signed at 11:00 on Monday 20 March 2023.

Oops, I'd forgotten to log this one. Found with Stainless steel rat on our way home from caching down the Channel. We searched many options until we found tbe cache.
Thanks pêaches

The last cache of the day and another great little at the roadside as it were, thanks for bringing me here,
I see some more of this series are coming out as I write my logs but I'll leave the FTF's others

After last weekends big trip we went with something a little closer to home, with either the Mountain or Margate on the cards, Margate won out with the weather making the choice for us.
After parkrun I picked up goose after calling for coffee, next stop was down near Trial Bay where we started collecting a few caches out this way.
A nice day out with a bit of everything including a good sized snake, second one in two weeks we have seen.

Thanks for the cache.

Found on 18/03/2023 thanks to pêaches for placing this cache for me to find.

FTF - Yay, Found It. Adding a fav.
I needed to pop out to the old showgrounds site to a couple of retailers, so as this appeared still unfound, I detoured. It was a nice drive down, with sunny views across the River Derwent with a couple of freight ships chuffing in.
Got to GZ, found a couple of innocent decoys and did wonder, but it was very obvious once I opened in the correct item.
Thanks pêaches, for the cache and the adventure.
Cheers, EPs.

2nd to find.
A neat little series of caches. I just hope the cache at GZ doesn't get swapped out.
Not sure what was going on, as we headed to and from GZ on the Channel Highway at Kingston as the area was flooded with Police with spikes in hand. TFTC
