Logs
In the park today with 2Bulbars, replaced the log and the plastic bag here. Thanks for the placement and the smiley
Last time out here I collected Zag but forgot to get Zig. Found this beautiful sunny day.Forgot my pen - sorry about that.
After a hot muggy few hours (about 6!) under the trees doing the Otangane Series and then to the platinum mines I decided to round out the trip with these two on the Zig Zag Road.Except the clouds have burnt off some time on the way back to the carpark, leaving the climb up here with no shade. It has to be about 32 degrees, and I had to pull my hat out of my backpack. Wish I had a headband in there too. Alas, not.Found the first cache then carried on up to this one. That's not a stump! Oh! yes it is!!Right. Now a quick walk down, get back into the shade!!
I was delighted when Etherlord invited me for a day walk up the Sledge Track. It was a beautiful day for it - sunshine, blue sky and just a pleasant light breeze. After heading up the Sledge Track and claiming the Hiking Challenge and the Tree Climb we headed back downhill, across the swing bridge, up past Checkpoint Charlie and on to Zig Zag road. A good hilly workout of 12km taking just over 5 hours. It was good to have the opportunity to claim this pair. A short hunt to locate this one, it was fun to find. Thanks CharlotteandJordy for your placement.
I'm well overdue for some tree-time and @WonderfulWifey suggested (insisted!) that I go bush to fix this deficit. The edvern joined me on my hike in the hills, as we headed towards GSEL's new "Hiking Challenge - Hard" cache. With that cache found, and then lunch enjoyed, it was onwards and upwards for some zigging and zagging. We struggled to locate the correct hint item, starting at one ~10m away that was only a T1.5, then one ~7m away that was a T3.5, before edvern finally found one that matched the T rating and that held the treasure we desired!Thank you for an enjoyable outing edvern, and the cache CharlotteAndJordy
Checked on this one while walking the geohound today. All was well here, just a wee bit of condensation
A clever hide this. I had a good signal and seemed to be standing on top of the cache, but no clue item! Took a more roundabout route and aha there it is. Gets an FP from me, great views.
Thanks CharlotteAndJordy for the 2 new caches at Arapuke.
Found while riding the trails.
This one was slightly harder terrain than Zag, with some nearby blackberry, gorse and steep drop-off to avoid
Yay, {2TF} hope it gets more visits soon!

Didn’t find - although needed to carry on my camino training as had appointment in town, so couldn’t check out all options nearby. Still a beautiful camino training location. Will try again another day.
