Out for my daily drive and cache fix while I'm in Brisbane spending some time with my aged mother. I'm currently at one of the stops on the Morayfield History Drive AL, and I must say that this is one of the best maintained historic cemeteries that I've come across in my travels ... very impressive! Nice cache too, and good coords made it a straightforward find ... thanks Cliff5009. Fave point awarded because I had a nice experience here.
The not so little turmoils wanted to hang out at the Morayfield shops so I dumped them and then headed out along Caboolture River Rd for the AL and all the caches up to Rocksberg. I really enjoyed the scenery and found some awesome picnic areas along the way. Some were complete with access to the Caboolture River which will be a hit for us in the warmer months. Love it. Favourite point for something different. Church was on, so I had to be extra sneaky. Luckily everyone was very involved inside.
Quick find. Was a little waterlogged so we tried to dry it off as best we could and left a little something for the next happy hunter. TFTC!
Yesterday we drove to Redcliffe through pouring rain, so we decided to not cache on the way down. Fortunately at Scarborough it wasnt raining so we grabbed a quick cache. So today we had 4 caches to find, 3 to fulfill a challenge cache for the month of February and a Mary MacKillop. This cache is for the U. As we arrived I spied a sign saying Labyrinth, so I headed that way and austpark looked for the cache. I was pleased to walk a new labyrinth (I have an angel labyrinth at home). By the time I had completed the L, austpark had found and signed the log. Both of us agreed a Favourite should be awarded. TFTC
Checked cache today, was wet, now dried out, log book and cache notes replaced, good to go again
Whilst Sandra took the geomonsters to Aussie World in the stupid heat, I quickly finished the boring jobs I'd been putting off and headed out around Upper Caboolture to pick up a few caches I'd missed/popped up recently. This was a nice quick find and it even tells you where it is...Thanks!!#3590
Coming home from Kilcoy this I made a deviation to drop in on the parents for a coffee and chit chat. Just before heading home mum suggested we go and grab a couple of the newer caches near her. Off to the Community centre - ‘Woah, that’s a lot of people’. Seems there was a community event at the community centre, go figure. Not to worry off to the church. I had got the previous cache here some years before, but this was in a completely new spot.
Access the cache took short work, name in the log, everything returned as intended and it was time to go. Thanks for the cache.

At 3:30pm we had the cache in our hand I was my partner who found this one I walked straight over it lol and said why would it be out side shitter hahah very clever hide. Once my son 10 had been around and had a look at all the graves I asked him to find it. He absolutely loved the cache and the creativity. Thankyou to the cache owner for making out Sunday a little different. TFTC, TFTF

You just have to love a south east Queensland winter, whilst the mornings can be cool the days are often bright and pleasing and a trip out into the nearby country side to hint caches is a lovely way to spend a morning.
After finding an appropriate spot to park the geowagon, I walked over to collect the prize. It was soon found, log extracted and signature added before returning safely for the next cacher to find.
Very pleased to be able to turn this cache into a yellow smilie and off of search of my next adventure.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

A nice quick one thanks to the clarification of being a geocache. A pretty little setting, we have been here before whilst completing an AdLab. Always nice to return to this area. Thanks Cliff5009
Having dropped the partner at the airport at stupid o’clock I had a couple of hours to cache before work…
Arriving with no preconceived ideas I was pleasantly surprised with the cache that I found… the “label” was a nice touch…
Thanks Cliff5009
Swapped out the TBs…

Dropped off the geo-daughter at a tutoring gig and had to go see geo-dad. In between those two spots was a cache just waiting to be collected.
So collected it.
Thanks for the hunt for this one.

Out enjoying the sunshine today and finding a few caches. I remember finding one here years ago down on fence line. After a walk around visiting the inhabitants and waiting for a couple to leave, I ventured to the cache. Noted the 2 TBs numbers. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Cliff5009. All good with this cache
We were up early enjoying the fine weather and a public holiday. This was our first find, just down the road from where we stay with family in Housmann Lane. We located a very sneakily hidden cache and added our name to the log sheet.
A favourite point from us for this cache.

Cliff5009 I found your cache Upper Caboolture Historical Cemetery on 30/3/2023, 12:25 pm. This is my find 4885 and find # 3 today. No problems locating this cache. Well thought out, have a favourite from me. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
We went out last week to collect some of the local caches.
We love the historical sites along the Caboolture River Road - that's where we put one of our two first Adventure Labs.
This time we saw the area nicely mowed and finally we found the Labyrinth - before we only saw the sign but no Labyrinth. It's a nice pretty area and cool idea!
And we found the cache as well! Awesome hide and worth a fav point!

As we pulled into the carpark the clock hit midnight, yep, we’re still out and about chasing caches. We should be in bed I know I know, but we love the thrill of chasing FTFs and doing them in the dark adds to that thrill.
We didn’t have to go far to find this one and we didn’t need to walk amongst the graves which is a no no at this time. We dismissed the cache at first and focused our attention elsewhere, but after noticing a very familiar word we knew we had the cache and oh my a well put together one at that!
Here’s a FP for your efforts and thank you for the FTF certificate. We’ve never received one and we really appreciate it.
Thanks for bringing us here.

A drive down the Bruce in the rain but as we neared our destination the weather improved and the sun came out. We have been to this spot on a few occasions finding caches and answering questions for AL's. This is a great hide with a fair amount of work gone into the construction of the cache, well worth a FP. Great to see some kangaroos between the gravestones, TFTC Cliff5009
