As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Yep, have to agree - definately muggled and gone! Bummer about Mal's coin, especially being the first one they ever released.
I noticed our 'Never STOP Geocaching' geocoin was supposed to be in here, so I re-visited this cache today at 10:45am while out caching with Mischief's Crew. The cache was nowhere to be found and wasn't under the bottom step where it was when I found it 2 years ago. We widened our search all around but looks like it has been muggled. Bugger! That was our first geocoin we released. Not happy Jan!
Had a really good look around, Found a nice spot for a cache but couldn't find THE cache.
This needs checking out.
This needs checking out.
Me not finding it doesn't mean much, but I'm just one of a string of DNFs, and there's not many places to hide a cache near here.
Come on guys. It's gone!
It's a lovely spot and deserves a cache, so do please replace it.
But if you're not going to, then it needs to be archived so someone else can do something with the area.

Stopped by here on my way down south to a mountain bike event. Unfortunately I didn't find the cache either
I did check the hint, and found the very likely spot right on the coords. I also checked many other spots nearby, but they were all empty.
A lovely area though, and worth a visit.

This was our last cache for the day, beautiful spot that we didn't know was here...nor all the other near by attractions. May have to come back for a drink one day!
Could not find the cache and as the previous log suggests we think its been muggled!!
Still thanks for bringing us here, it was a lovely walk!

Don't know if this cache is still here. Looked at the clue, and the co-ords took us to the obvious spot for a geoocache but no sign of anything. Spent another 10 minutes or so searching in the not so obvious spots but to no avail. This is a nice spot that we didn't know existed and the kids enjoyed the nearby playground, so thanks for the cache even though we didn't have any luck finding it!
Found quickly

Looks like a very interesting area, will have to come back some day when I have more time.
Very grey afternoon, just started to rains as I was completing log entry. On with the spray jacket, finish the job, then grab a couple of photos on the way back.

Bit dubious about the long grass round about. Will have to add gardening gloves (extra long) to the geocaching kit. The wild life is a bit ferocious too. The mozzies kept us moving and a HUGE bull ant got Marge a beauty on the finger. But it was a good place for a picnic before we crossed the bridge. Would never have found it otherwise. Took fox-in-car and left toy soldier. TFTH.

Sorry to report that this cache has now disintegrated. The remains are in pieces and it is just knackered...
Unable to leave anything to record our visit but it was worth going there to enjoy the area.
Many thanks and we hope that this cache can be reinstated at a future date.

Found on our return journey back to Perth from a day out around the south-west coast. This was our last chance for a find in Oz as we fly out to Singapore tomorrow.
This is a lovely place for a cache, found easily, but well hidden. We took nothing, but left the "Blue Piece-Hall Traveller" travel bug. The other 2 Piece-Hall travel bugs were left in New Zealand. We look forward to seeing which, if any, of them makes it back to Halifax in the UK. We also left a Keighley and Worth Valley Railway Thermometer/Key ring, also from home.
Thanks for a very nice location for us to end our very enjoyable visit to Australia.

A great spot by the river! Nice and peaceful, and very relaxing. Makes you want to jump on a boat and cruise the Murray! We enjoyed the suspension bridge. An easy walk to the cache which was very easy to find.
Took - 1922 Australian Penny. Left - WWI Commemorative $1 coin. Thanks for the hunt Gang.

Easy find and last one for the day, young fella was knackered. This place reminded me of a similar white elephant around here from when we used to spend the school holidays with Aunt & Uncle in Mandurah. Had similarities but obviously not the place. Dead quiet on a Sunday arvo.

Had more trouble working out how to get to ground zero than I did finding the cache! Duh! Found the cache at 9:50 AM. Found the cache damp and the log book full. Dried out the cache and left a new log book. Took out a Red Rooster toy and left a Pansonic GD35 phone case.
While in the area, I took the opportunity, to waymark the bridge. If you so wish you can log the Waymark, Joseph's Bridge, http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/details.aspx?f=-1&DCTGUID=208890be-57cb-4353-a546-00450ef1825f&WMGUID=5ae7f84b-e2b4-4945-8446-b58b76cfb162

After a good day out this was a little disappointing.
The cache location was a bit scabby - not a reflection so much as the owners decision but the slow rotting of the Sanctuary complex. This place is going down hill fast.
The cache was damp and most of the contents useless. We cleaned out the cache of all "rubbish" leaving the bare minimum of stuff. We added a new pencil (pens didnt work) and bag to hopefully keep the log etc dry.
Cache needs a good maintenance visit and perhaps a rethink as to its location.

Located in a sad looking White Elephant. For some reason the cache was very wet. TNLN, TFC

found this cache just on dusk (not a good time to go to a swampyish area in the middle of winter...). Was quite damp inside, and may need to be looked at? also lost PDA stylus near the steps to the platform. if anybody finds it could they put it in the cache and let me know?
Called in here on the way back to Perth. Interesting spot but nobody was around at the time.
TNLN Thanks for the cache.

Very quiet here today, not much going on in winter. Losts of long, lush green grass made finding this one a little harder but found it anyway!

Returning from a 12hr Rogaine and needed to stretch the legs a little.
We walked across the bridge and found cache ok. On the way back we were treated a free cup of coffee as it appears the little kiosk is opening up. They had a promotion on this morning to drop in for a visit and get a free coffee.
Lovely spot. Coffee not all that good but still worth the visit.
Took nothing left a red rooster superman.

Found after a short walk in a very peaceful site. Exactly as described (a Sanctuary). T: Cards, L: Batteries. We didn't even know this place existed. Many thanks for a simple but pleasant cache, Gang.
Very Pretty little spot. Yes, the mozzies are still there You could also get to this one via boat if you are so inclined. T Tape measure, L rope watch and calling card.
Nice spot for afternoon tea..except for the mozzies AAAGH!!!! Well placed cache in a great location. Had to have an ice cream to cool the bites. Took the CC's keyring, left a tape measure.
4.15pm..At first place we went on the wrong side and decided to try other side around. Presto! we were on the right track towards to the cache site. Surprised to find the houseboat anchored opp the side where the cache is. Took disk and left a playing card. Thanks for bringing to this lovely place - hope to visit it again at the near future.
Friday, 4:40pm. We went looking on the wrong side of the river for a couple of seconds before we noticed the likely area for a cache to be placed, so it was over the bridge and along the walk. We had close readings so figured it must be around there some place. We looked in the likely places and then looked in the less likely places…Guess where it was. Yep the less likely place. Its surprising it hasn’t been found as the last people that had visited hadn’t put it back under as well as they should have and it was easily spotted when close to the ground (like kids are naturally). We placed it back and hid it well. We put in a Dinosaur and took out a bubble bath. Lyn Pat and Nathan.
We came we nearly saw...but we coundnt get there because there was a wedding on and they had booked the whole place out. we will return and find the cache next time we are down this way.. LYN PAT and NATHAN...with the HOP gang

Second attempt. I cannot believe that we didnt spot it the first time. We had had a quick look there but as we had thought the clue had something to do with another area didnt search carefully enough!! I was sitting right there when pulling out the spear grass too. We added a couple of things, keyring etc and took nothing.

We hunted high and low for around 45 minutes but could not find it. Then I spent another 15 minutes pulling spear grass out of my shoes and socks, I should have worn sandals like Ian. Next time I will.
Our GPS took us to a spot around 10 metres from the platform and approximately 3 metres to the right of the track, (going away from the bridge) where we close??
