knew what we were looking for so thought we would just check it out ready for another dayoh now we get ityeah lets to this one instead, we have the tool with usreally nice spot, didn't realise we could walk in here
Out with barbowman working on another challenge. needing to find multi caches, we initially targeted one back up the road but with the PGA on decided to go for this one instead.Somes done and new co-ords entered.A short time later and we were at GZ for a quick retrieval.Log signed and cache replaced.TFTH
I only had a small window for caching, so just like on Playschool they never pick the window I want. Before I knew what gambling was, I would put my 20 cents of pocket money on the arch window. The arch window never came up and who in their right mind would place a bet on the diamond or circle window.I just checked my SportsBet app (which I dont have) and Im surprised to see you cant actually bet on the Playschool window. Instead I had to join a syndicate with Jemima, Big Ted and Little Ted hoping they had the inside running but I think they have stitched me up. They are dolls after all.Surprisingly, I already had a waypoint in my phone so I must have done the work on another visit and forgot to pop in to look for the hide. I walked in to check it out and after spying the cache went back to the car to grab the pole. No doubt if I had of watched Playschool today the arch window would have come up. tftc
On the north side with hatzofff, imbunda and Team Benders. Our grandson had to be at the airport early with his mates to have a boy's weekend in Airlie Beach. We found the sign, did our sums, and went for a walk. Collected information and did the coordinates. Headed to GZ. Retrieved cache. Signed the log and returned to where found. Thanks ESmiley. All good with this cache and multi
While visiting Nudgee Beach today doing an AdLab and a couple of Trads we stopped and found this one. It was an easy find without any dramas. The day was cool and there was a nice little breeze blowing which was great for keeping the mozzies away. I know how thick they can be down here at certain times of the year.TFTC
This was a bit fiddly. Signal kept jumping around and the day was very windy. Fishing pole getting blown around. Got down but putting back harder.
Today, our geocaching journey took us on an exciting adventure to uncover the cache. Armed with our trusty tree fishing pole, we navigated through the wilderness, following the clues and hints, until we reached the hidden cache.Challenges: The real challenge began when we reached the cache location. With keen eyes and steady hands, we maneuvered the tree fishing pole skillfully, attempting to reach the cache nestled high above. It took patience, teamwork, and a bit of trial and error, but eventually, we triumphed and retrieved the elusive cache.Discovery: Finally, the moment of discovery arrived as we opened the cache container. Inside, we found the logbook. Signing our names proudly, we added our mark to the growing list of adventurers who had successfully completed this unique geocaching challenge.Gratitude: We extend our heartfelt thanks to the cache owner for creating such an engaging and memorable experience. This tree fishing pole adventure will be fondly remembered as one of our favorite geocaching expeditions.Until the next adventure,
Im working towards a Challenge involving the finding of lots of Multis and this is proving very difficult because this one is 24km from home and is one of the closest!I guessed the general GZ but Im glad I took the time to get the specific coords because the Mozzies starting hitting me and I had to move fast.Thankfully I spotted the cache pretty quickly and did one of my fastest ever tree fishing retrievals and returns.Plenty of water around today, especially on the paths, so I tiptoed back to my car.TFTC where all is fine.
ButtonsDice came a-visiting from Rockhampton and we all headed over to Nudgee Creek to do some kayaking and find a few of the caches on the water there. But first we stopped by to find this multi because, well, tree fishing! obviously It was Buttons that finally spotted the container, not surprising really considering her display of sharp eyes last night at the [Chase after Tinkerbell](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC3BTQD_chase-after-tinkerbell) nightcache. We retrieved the container and gave Dice the task of returning it to it's eyrie once we'd all signed the log. Thanks for find #5181TNLN
No one using the park today so I gathered information made our way to GZ where the cache was quickly spotted and retrieved. TFTC
TBU2Uwe001 and I solved this multi cache and signed the log couple of days ago.

On my recent trip to Nudgee Beach and in need of a few multi caches for a challenge that I'm working towards, I picked this one to do.
Nice neat hide once at GZ and all good with the container and no wet feet!
Thank you, E_Smiley, for this good little multi and cache placement combined with the little catch of the day

On a short break from work today I jumped in the geowagon and headed out to pick up a few caches to help clear my mind.
On arrival a safe place to park the car was found and after a short walk, I soon laid my hands on the cache and made my mark on the log before safely returning the cache back in its hides hole.
Quick walk back to the car and I was quickly off to grab another in the series.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this series available for fellow cachers to find.
Cheers

Was across the road with the grandkids feeding the fish. With the fish getting full of my bait, packed up the wet fishing gear and grabbed the aerial gear.
With the coords locked in and the eldest grandchild leading the way, walking into trees, tripping over sticks etc, our little group made it to GZ and I was thinking how do I explain the damage to her kids when I was in charge. At least I held them back when crossing the road.
At GZ the kids wanted to tree fish with the bazooka. I let them swing the pole away for a while til the sand flies found us out and I took over the catching after I promised they could replace the cache. Well I watched and held the tongue to the left and then I swapped the kids over to try. A bit more dangling and still no replacement. I took over before losing any more blood to the midgies. All good here, thanks for placing E_Smiley.

My caching goal for July is to claim a challenge cache requiring a certain number challenges to be found - a challenge challenge if you will.
Reviewing my extensive list of challenges in progress I discovered I have three or four signed challenge caches about multi's, including challenges in Melbourne and London, that I am getting close to qualifying for. So I have decided that July is multi month, which will also lead to claiming the challenging challenge.
Having already completed another nearby multi this afternoon, this one was next up. The light was fading fast, my phone battery was nearly dead and I had no torch with me! Being vertically challenged, I had to resort to tippy toes and the phone camera to collect the clues here. Some quick calculations and I arrived at the final just before dark. EVen though there was some light in the sky, it was dark in here. Thankfully, I spotted the container quickly and was able to retrieve it without too much trouble.
By the time my name was in the logbook, it was properly dark. I had a lot of trouble returning the container as my depth perception was poured in the low light. It took a good 10 minutes of trying to get it back where it belonged. This was the 16th multi for the month - halfway to the target!

Solved this a while ago but didn’t have my pole on me.
Today to keep my streak alive I took son down to help with the fishing.
It was his first try at fishing and he did ok. Had to laugh as a 15yo he looked disappointed that there were no swaps in there. I told him when he and his sister where younger I tried to target the larger caches hoping for treasure and to keep them slightly engaged.
Log signed and replaced by me.

After dropping off a kid in Nundah, I decided to continue on to Nudgee Beach to have a look at these newish multis. After gathering the information for the multi nearby and deciding to come back when the tide is more favourable, I moved on to collect this one instead. Nice straightforward information gathering followed by a short walk to GZ where the cache was quickly spotted. I always enjoy kayaking in this creek. Got some lovely photos from in here. The tether meant the cache was nice and easy to retrieve. Thanks E_Smiley
To paddle or not to paddle? That was the difficult question this morning. We had been thinking of a paddle on Kedron Brook, however, the wind was so blustery that we came to find this one instead.
This ticked all the boxes. A neat little puzzle, no wet feet and a tree fishing pole.
Our name is in the log, and we add a favourite point, especially for the dry feet, which did end up getting a little wet.
Thanks e_smiley

E_Smiley I found your cache Nudgee Crossing on 6/5/2023, 5:10 pm. This is my find 5237 and find # 14 today. Gathered the required numbers and arranged them for the final coordinates. Arrived at GZ where the cache was found after a brief search. Retrieved it, signed it and returned it. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
I have decided to have May as My Mad Multi May Month to find 31 Multi's in the month of May for a challenge in Melbourne (GC5M69G). I did some preparing in April and had the information needed from WP1 on one of my many visits with my geo dog Roxy to this beach. Today i tied Roxy to the tree while i did my fishing. She waited patiently while i managed to retrieve the cache. Afterwards i took her to meet her friends. One lady has her labrador with pearls on for her outing ( thats the dog , not the owner). Thanks for this multi and for taking us to this lovely place
I got a break in the rain and was able to calculate the final. I then made the short walk and a quick find. Thanks for the fun E_Smiley
I was so busy today that I nearly forgot to grab a cache for the day. I have set myself a personal challenge and it seems to be going along nicely at the moment. I got a call from Willis007 who said she was heading over Nudgee way to do a cache, that’s funny so was I. I will always make time for a caching buddy.
We arrived at meeting point and with Bella we all headed out for a walk to grab the cache. We then saw this one down the road and thought lets go and have a look.
With the numbers all sorted and a tick we headed off to grab our prize. An easy find and retrieval. We signed the log, returned as found and then went on for the day. Thanks for the hide and the puzzle.

After a big day of finding caches for a challenge, I had met up with chamad at a nearby cache, we decided to tackle this one as well. Who doesn't love a tree fish??
Heading to the posted co-ords we collected the required information and had the finals worked out shortly after. Heading to our calculated gz, I looked around for a bit and could spot the cache. Of course chamad wandered in and spotted it straight away! He did the retrieving and returning duties, I did the signing duties.
Thanks E Smiley for a fun multi.

Pulling up close to the posted coords I wandered over and considered my options… which were slim to say the least…
That lack of options meant it didn’t take long to find the required numbers… it was nice not to have to move the car…
Thanks E_Smiley

I had a day of today, with nothing on the list. So now it’s caching time.
I had few caches targeted today all were for a challenge.

Had a drop off on the north side today.
And then a few of the new, and old, caches around Nudgee.
Soon had new coordinates and then it was just fishing.
Find number 29428 for me.
Thank you E_Smiley for hiding this geocache.

I was in the area grabbing a few caches and decided to get this one as well. Having wonky eyesight meant I needed to deploy the camera to get a visual on the clue from the ground, and being slightly vertically challenged meant I struggled to get a good angle for a clear image, so had to haul myself to a better spot Glad I can still lift this body off the ground.
Numbers crunched and I took the walk to GZ and made the find quickly. My XL TOTT made short work of the retrieval. TFTC, E_Smiley.

*STF* Second to Find at 17:56 hr.
This evening, I ducked out of work a little earlier to head to Nudgee for a few newly published multi-caches. After completing a short kayak paddle, I headed north-east towards Nudgee Beach.
Despite there being a perfectly legal parking spot just prior to the posted coordinates, I pulled up and parked just after the pull-in point, to then visit the posted coordinates and sus out the various phone numbers. The only struggle I had was the wind vibrating the sign, and it was darn hard to count so many numbers without needing to start again. I had hoped to complete this multi-cache before I lost total light for the day, and once I had a set of coordinates that the checksum appeared to agree with, I realised I wouldn't be driving further in order to visit GZ, so I parked appropriately before making a wander off.
I actually enjoyed a few of these informal tracks through this area, although at GZ, there were many choice trees that were plausible hiding elevations as per the hint. Peeking from different angles, I widened my search slightly, and it was only looking at reasonably angled branches, that I then spotted the familiar cache type. The TOTT was consequently deployed, and it wasn't long before the cache was down at my level. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. It looks like I missed out on the first find by 12 hr haha. Thanks E_Smiley for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Interesting to see this famous Sunshine Geocacher have a geocache so far south!

***FTF*** @ 6.00. I woke up this morning to find new caches released overnight. Knowing i was driving past the area this morning, i hurried to get ready for work and headed off. Arriving at GZ, the sun just starting to come up over the horizon, i was all by myself to collect the required info. A big peleton of riders headed past just as i was heading off to the final location and after a brief walk, i spotted the hide high above me. TOTT was deployed and i soon signed the fresh log and returned it to its perch. I walked back to the car as another big team of bikes went past. Popular spot for bike riding here it seems. TFTC E_Smiley. A fun little multi to start the morning.
