While this might be the Missing Link, it's certainly not the Weakest Link! Anyone remember that old TV quiz show? Like many others, we found both the decoy and the Real Deal. Another phenomenal cache, with superb Camo. You've blitzed it again iTEEM... have another Fav Pt!!
Out with one of pinnacle333 for an afternoon of caching in the Kilsyth/Croydon North area. This one took us a while until we widened our search then bingo. Decoy found, cache found A favourite point thanks iTEEM.
Very Clever cache! Looked under and looked above before finding. However finding it wasnt it unfortunately. Quickly found what we were actually after shorter after TFTC.
Out for an arvo of caching and ad-labbing in this beautiful weather, this was the next stop for the day. After finding the last of the Hidden Creatures adlab points where GMelb had attempted to use his pole to rescue a Kite which was then threatening to tear so he had to leave it, we started heading home and this one was on the way. As we were approaching the round about going towards the parking co-ords we saw a car had stopped in the middle of the road just at the exit towards the parking and we wondered what they were doing. We then saw a motorcyclist on the ground and the car driver aproaching him. Fearing the worst we were getting ready to park and exit to when the car driver helped the motor cyclist pick up his bike and the motor cyclist wave his thanks and get ready to go on his way. So, thankfully he hadnt been hit by the car, the car driver was just stopping to help him pick his bike up after it seems he had lost balance going around the round about. Phew. After that we headed to the parking and made our way to GZ at what ended up being the wrong elevation lol GMelb made the change and found the cache soon after. Glad this boardwalk etc is now here for people to more easily navigate along this stretch of road. Off home now after a lovely arvo out. TFTC iTEEM - GJMMelb
This one took us a while to find, even after we found the decoy. Very well camouflaged in plain sight - gets a favorite from us.
Coordinates changed from:S 37 45.821 E 145 18.479Coordinates changed to:S 37 45.817 E 145 18.481Distance from original: 26.1 feet or 8.0 meters.Whilst searching for the replacement cache mosonisaqttaya inadvertently found the original cache which was muggled. Very strange. The replacement cache has now been removed and the original cache left in place. The design of the original hide suits the original coordinates more than the updated coordinates.
Our fourth DNF (Did Not Find) todaythese micro caches are really giving us a hard time. And crikey, Tim, I just hit 70 last week! Youve got me crawling around in this long, wet grass. I don't think I'll be back for this one. Dang it! Never mind.
Well, I can't wait to rub this in...to my geolad. He struggled to locate it. I, of course, knew when I found the decoy that it was the decoy. I was probably only trolling under for 2min before i found this awesome cache. Another cleared off my DNF local map. Thanks for the cache and favourite point earned
A lovely summers day, so decided to head out after work to find a cache or three. Goodness me! That was an effort to reach gz! Once there, the real cache was found. Clever! Now to get back out of here! Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, iTEEM ~~
Of all the places to put a cache. Just wait until you get older, lol. Fortunately for me, OHC did the hard bits and I waited on higher ground in case she went missing. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find . . . . . I think.
well there was more than a missing link in finding this cache!there was miscommunication, misdirection, mischief, miscalculation, missed reading of the car parking way point, misplaced path access (leading to bush bashing through thigh high horrible scrub) and general misadventure... I am not sure I will be trusted to navigate again :Owe eventually made it to GZ and were determined to not miss the cache.I was distracted from looking by the gross smells from the stagnant water and fleabag- did well to persevere and make the find.
Currently trying to finish the year with a few finds to etch closer to my 11,111th cache.Out with KristysAdventures today with the sun shining down. This cache was a hot search and after finally bending the back a bit more it was discovered. Thanks to iTEEM for the fun and the adventure.
Geolad went to show a new friend how to geocache. They found the decoy and he thinks it might be too hard for me. Hmmm
Very tricky and a good hiding spot. Found the decoy and looked for half and hour. Paid off though with the cache in hand and signed. TFTC iTEEM
We found this cache on our Croydon / Mooroolbark / Kilsyth Run. After parking nearby, the walk to the cache, though short was quite difficult to navigate. Got it. No we haven't. Yes we have. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Found with icw ... eventually. Yesterday we found what we thought was the cache, but it was the decoy. Back to ground zero today and further searching came up with a result. Tftc
This one has been on my radar for a while after my disappointment of my last visit. After 10 mins and still no find I was about to log another DNF and after seeing it was last found over a month ago I thought it might have gone for a walk as I still didn’t find the decoy. After one last push and bending my back a little more I found the decoy and had the find in my hand a little while later Great hide as always ITEEM TFTC
I was alerted to this cache at a previous find, I’m not a fan of these type of hides but noted it was an iTEEM cache so I made my way there and found a carpark close by. I made my way down and saw evidence of a recent search in the mud. I got my troll on and started to search. I can see how the cache might easily be missed.. found the decoy then the cache. Thanks iTEEM for another cache
This is what geocaching is all about. Ducked out between meetings, realised that I was not properly attired to be a troll. Thought bugger it, I’m here now. Somehow managed to emerge in only a half troll state and decent enough on the top half to have a zoom meeting on the phone in the car parked near GZ.
Thanks iTEEM. Cache and decoy all in order. Given the location, it makes you wonder who or what creature muggled this?

Good news was that today was another Friyay (my work gives me the last Friday afternoon of every month off thus the 'yay' part) so a perfect opportunity to work on completing the hard souvenir for the favourite fan challenge for this month.
I started of trekking around Warrandyte hills gold country and then headed over to Croydon for some less strenuous finds.
I parked in the very close by car park and went through the long grass and the mud and became a troll. Spotted the decoy and for some reason not the real cache until I had checked every other beam under here. I did freeze at one point in time when some muggles cyclists came over head.
Thanks iTEEM for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today. When I think missing link I always think of a certain wrestler, I would love to say I had so much enjoyment finding this one but sadly I will not lie, mud, rat droppings and wet grass, cant get enough of it. Nice hide once in the right spot.
Thanks iTEEM for the cache.

Out and about with Rebel Acts after finishing early from work. It's always great to be out putting smiles on the map.
Cheers for the cache and the opportunity to get out and have some fun.
Rebel found after getting down and dirty, Adam would be proud!

Got them fresh logbook feels. On the way home from work, needed one cache to work on the 2 cache a day puzzle @ point nepean. This came up. Wasn't expecting to be covered in fresh clay & grass seeds but that's life. Logbook signed & back in place, tftc

Sadly, this cache has been muggled. Given the amount of time and effort required to construct the container, it may take me a little while to make a replacement.
Got nothing. Hint not much help and I didn’t even find a decoy. You guys are good.
I was checking the map before leaving work to decided on a cache to grab on the way home when I noticed this one had gone up only a few days ago.
A fantastic hide, started off searching in the wrong spot but eventually realised where I should direct my efforts. Like others I fell for the decoy at first before locating the cache soon after. This is a kind of cache I’ve been meaning to make one of myself so I might use this as a bit of inspiration for a future placement.
Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the log nice and dry.
Tftc and dropped a favourite point for the great execution

Out today with Redcb, we arrived at GZ and took a few minutes to locate the ..... decoy. Okay, expand the search. I spent several minutes hunting, without success, before Lynne came up with the goods. How could I have missed that?
Another quality cache from iTEEM. Thanks gang. A favourite point coming to you.

Crustyvarmint and I headed out this morning for just a couple of quick caches. This one had us muttering and scratching our heads a bit before we located the clever "let down" and then finally the cache! Thanks iTEEM for another well thought out and executed cache. Bonus points awarded to me for not ending up on my backside this time!
Wow. This is just so good. Like others I found the decoy before I found the genuine article. Great camo here.
