What a clever cache! Made a quick find but it took me a while to work out how to retrieve the log. Got the ticket in the end. There was a man mowing the paddock nearby but I was nicely hidden from view, so he didnt notice me. Definitely deserves a fav point. Thanks BorisB&Natasha.
The Red Hill Rail Trail is always an enjoyable walk, and the geocaches are always different and well themed, which just makes it even better. All are in good condition except for just a few that need new logs. I started at the top and found my first geocache right on 8 am and the last one at 10 am. Then it was time for a nice coffee.A few extremely large branches are down here, but they missed this geocache. I've seen this log before, but definitely not in this configuration. Well done. Thanks for the cache, Boris B & Natasha.Hunter
Lucky I had change for my fareA couple of days on the other side of metropolis in the company of TeamAstro. Thanks BorisB&Natasha for showcasing this area and contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy. Happy trails!
Ill line up for tickets to these caches!! A great trail. No horses seen - just evidence Thanks BorisB&Natasha and clear skies from TeamAstro. Having a few days on the peninsula, I headed out on the bike from Merricks to cache this trail. These just keep getting better. A very well constructed container, and clever log. The lengths these COs go to for innovative log sheets is without measure. TFTC BorisB&Natasha
This has got to be my absolute favourite find ever. I film a lot of them to show people how much fun being a nerd is, and my whole video is me yelling "OH MY GOODNESS!!!"Found while riding my horse along the rail trail, great fun!
Awesome construction and theme. Took us a while to find, because the GPS was fairly jumpy. Once spotted, we signed the creative log. Definitely a favorite point deserved! TFTC
Autumnal Victorian Roadtrip.Day Four: Mostly MorningtonWeather: still perfect! One of ten Red Hill Express caches found today. I was having so much fun that it was hard to stop at ten, but this series is so good that I may even return with The Muggle as I can see broad appeal here. Some very clever work all well executed, and my congratulations to BorisB&Natasha for this series. I will be spreading the word when I get back to South Australia!Very clever, you had me here. Leaving a FP here for the series.
Thanks for the Cache!
Really liked this very creative cache container, what a good idea for the logbook! Found with Friend23. TFTC, a favourite point from us!
Found with Syl_M25 really cool cache, this series just gets better and better!
Love the container and it took us a couple minutes to figure it out. TFTCFound with Phoenix_Cretor
Found with icw. I love the themed container. However, I don't miss the old ticketing system. Tickets had the origin, destination and date marked on them and woe betide anyone who broke a journey or got off one station further on. Changing lines was a further nightmare as another ticket was required. Trams and buses had entirely different ticketing systems to add to the horror. Tftc.
What a fantastic trail with individually themes caches. They are giving me so much pleasure. . Yet another FP for yet another brilliant cache. Thanks BorisB&Natasha
Back down the Peninsula. Out for an early walk along the Merricks Trail. Wow! Next level clever this one. I initially thought it was broken, then worked out the mechanism. Definitely a fav. Thanks for placing this wonderful geo trail BorisB&Natasha #2141
Again - I have very few words. This is just brilliant - the CO is clearly very creative and obviously loves geocaching. Another favourite point from us.
Back today to tackle some more of the Red Hill Express series. It was a lovely day today so I was looking forward to the walk and some pretty cool finds. I was not disappointed! This one was especially inventive. Thanks BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear for placing the cache. Your creative flair is appreciated. A favourite point given
We divided up at GZ to find this cache, and then we both scratched our heads with how to access the log. well played, I certainly wasn't expecting that.
Out and about with Tiz13 for another one of our weekly caching adventures, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today. Have always enjoyed caches by the CO and these new ones did not disappoint. FAV from me.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha for the cache.

After picking up some chairs for mum, I continued down the peninsula to do some maintenance on a couple of my caches. In between, I did the Red Hill Express series and enjoyed them like I had the earlier series. Quick find in a nicely constructed container. Great log!
My thanks for the cache, BorisB&Natasha.

Yes, yes, yes, what a fantastic cache. Now I think about it, it makes me feel old that I remember the cache matter so well. Well in fact I had forgotten all about it like a busted ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend, but it all came flooding back when I saw the hide.
These days the ticket inspectors all have digital devices and they all think their poo doesn’t stink. Poo has not got more floral over the years, so the people behind paper tickets still use the same amount of toilet paper regardless of how they issue their tickets.
Ticket poo rant aside, the thing that caught our eye at this cache were the shoes Mrs Woodyrothwell and I were wearing. She was wearing some brand name soft shoe and I was wearing some K-Mart special my daughter bought me because it didn’t cost her anything. My shoes looked the business but if they last the week I will have earnt my free moneys worth. Favourite point for the cache of the day. tftc

Finally, a day organised just for caching with day1976, originally had been planning Narbethong unloved but the constant rain would have been awful for bush bashing and for my little 4wd.
So picked a different direction, which the weather forecast said no rain, and the rain tapered off as we arrived.
A great series of caches, the longest walk I've done in some time-4hrs, 15km and about 24 caches, all excellent hides.
A bit of misdirection and twisting, turning revealed nothing, until we spotted something else that twists

For the first time in ages, Ilukaperi and I caught up for a days caching. Originally we had planned on going out east to Warburton way, but siginificant rain on the 4WD tracks made us reconsider. As we had never really cached much on the peninsula, we decided to head down here and the Red Hill Express caches became a high priority.
We found everyone in this series, with only one not being able to be signed (I have sent a message to the CO regarding that one).
Ilukaperi found this one.

Today ManfredWolfgang, Earthbound Chief, the Shouty Spoodle and myself went on a mini hike to find some caches along the Red Hill trail. Manfred was very appreciative of all the new spots to sniff. He was not so appreciative having to constantly pose for his Instagram pics .
Thanks for the awesome caches, BorisB&Natasha, I’m just adding a favourite point for all.

Out and about caching with BeckNmonts, Manfred Wolfgang and jett_theshoutyspoodle….we planned a big walk for lazy legs today from Merricks to Red Hill. A good walk in the pines.
Having not been out for a while, we decided to walk along this trail and seek out the new additions. And it was well worth it. All of the caches are beautifully themed and really well crafted.
This one looked great and it appeared that we were in for a challenge. We twisted and turned and pulled and pushed and after discovering another small snippet of mis-direction, we finally cracked the code. Has to be another favourite point from us.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha for these fantastic new caches.
Chiefton!!!

Found it , what an amazing construction. A twist and turn here and there, then soon the log revealed itself. A favourite for me. Tftc
Lovely afternoon to get out and find more of the caches along the Red Hill Rail Trail. Another great in theme cache container. Thanks for the hide BorisB&Natasha
This one had us going for a while...we had to really inspect and figure out the process... ah ha! Gee, another brilliant idea! Haven't come across one of these before so it gets a fave point from us!
We got notification that a whole bunch of new caches on this trail had been released whilst we were up at the Rutherglen MEGA, and having found BorisB&Natasha creative caches before we knew these would be fun to find....plus we had to get those smileys to match the rest of this trail we discovered and found last year! Today was a gorgeous day, we spotted a group of black cockatoos, new Holland honeyeaters, willy wagtails, kookaburras as we walked the trail, occasionally passing a few other walkers and horses. Thank you BorisB&Natasha for placing these themed and clever caches, very much appreciated!

Put and about today with one Mr Brain, having seen some of this series being brought back I couldn't just sit down and leave them be. Dodging the showers and realising the warmer days are slowly leaving us behind.
Loved this series and the little walk, all in all had a good time and keen to return in the future to find the last 3 we left for another day. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure

Starting to rain now so was thankful that it was a quick find.
Now to work out what to do. A scan of the container and things fell into place .
Yes that is what you do.
Log signed and back as found.
This was very ingenious with how it all worked.
A massive favourite point for the effort put into this cache.
Thankyou
