With time to fill in before the event at Leslie Dam later this morning, Fergclan and I decided to target caches that both of us hadn't found. Thanks to the COs for showing us around the country side.
We came out for the day from the Scenic Rim to explore Warwick and the surrounding area, and ,of course, to find some caches. We located the cache very quickly but how can it be reached? A herd of young cows were standing nearby watching us but did not offer their help.
Just passing by, showing our geo-cuz from Melbourne a few of our caches. This tree fishing cache is in OK condition
Dunmowin I found your cache Fishing On the Dam on 8/5/2024, 2:00PM. This is my find 6640 and find # 23 today. This one was easier to spot. Also a quick retrieval, sign and returned. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out and about in the area finding a few caches to top up my 'My Finds' calendar to help with completing another loop ... And with a short break in the weather, I was able to stay dry as well. I soon spotted the container after getting out of the car. Then out with the fishing rod and soon had the cache in my hands. Returning the cache to where I found it was almost as quick a process. Thanks for the cache.
TFTC smile 16518 out and about on a lovely coolish day With miss millie geo dog sign as GS1947 on small logs
Signed and replaced little team work required for me. Thank you friend

I'm staying locally for a couple of days and picking up a few caches here and there with geo friends.
This was a good area to do whilst the road works heavy machinery was sitting idle today.
Another quick catch and release back to where it originated from.
Thank you, Dunmowin, for placing this cache for our benefit and enjoyment

Out caching with geofriend Fred7lea - she needed some guidance on how to use the required TOTT. We have one, she does not - she had three on her radar. I took the opportunity of doing a maintenance check.
All good today, tbs visited.

After 8-9 months of caching, I decided that it was time to venture further afield. Hence the decision to start doing some searching & logging of caches around Warwick.
Today was a few first for me - using a TOTT to do some "fishing", seeing Leslie Dam and exploring some of the back streets around Warwick.
Thank you to Dunmowin for the guidance on how to use the TOTT and the loan of yours and also for being my Navigator around Leslie Dam.
My first time with a TOTT! Damn that’s hard!!

I had to get this one today to fill a gap in my calendar. So I went for a drive to the Rocklands area on my day off to get this one. After a bit of a look to find it I got it down, signed the log and got it back up to allow others to find it. Thanks Dunmowin

I think most cachers are away at some mega.
Not me. I'm fishing for caches, this one tastes like a big cod, tasty new log, like a warm hug in your belly.
Didn't put up a fight like that last fish....
